I actually think the Evil Jamie script could’ve been amazing with a couple revisions.
A Halloween tv series thats based on all of the unmade films would be so cool
This is actually a good idea
Nooooooooooooooooo
Make it a full movie
@@You_Eat you wouldn't like it being that most of them had a heavy supernatural type of storyline.
Definitely 💯🔥
Well wish granted Miramax Television just announced that they will co-produce a Halloween tv show
Personally, I think the ending of Halloween 4 is one of the best in the horror genre. Evil never dies, it just takes new form.
Yeah, but... evil dies tonight?
@@raphaelturtle4146
Different movie.
@@BareBandSubscription but... it dies tonight
@@raphaelturtle4146
No, it changes shape. And then it dies tonight.
@@BareBandSubscription so... evil dies tomorrow? If everyone's free?
The best part about Halloween 5 existing is that we get another great video from you guys 😂
The only positive that can be said about "Halloween 5" in my book.
Poor Jamie 😄 is there a single universe where she has a happy ending
Not in the Halloween universe. Not in any Halloween universe.
Halloween:Bad Blood
I guess the best it gets is her alternate ending in h6 where she’s peacefully capped in her sleep
With Michael and Laurie now gone, why not follow up Halloween 4 somewhere down the road and have Jamie as The Shape 20 or so years later?
Agreed!
Yeah. Do it. I just read thag Jamie Lee Curtis snubbed Danielle Harris at the Halloween ends screening and basically told her to go away haha. Screw Jamie Lee Curtis.
@@raphaelturtle4146 that’s not what happened. Danielle Harris and Scout Taylor Compton met JLC at the ‘Ends’ premiere and were hurt that she didn’t know them-this was clearly inadvertent on JLC’s end, as anyone who knows anything about her can pretty much guarantee she never saw the remake, and I’d be genuinely surprised if she ever saw 4 or 5. This led to them both slamming the movie and her. I like them both, and I get it hurt their feelings, but that doesn’t make JLC, an entertainment icon, known for professionalism and kindness, an asshole.
@@boynamedalexxx I don't really care either way.
@@raphaelturtle4146 now all of a sudden you don’t care now that your comment turned out to be a lie
the ending to part 4 was great and they should have had Jamie as the killer....or at least make the movie a mystery who done it type movie......with the police and Loomis thinking Michael is dead but dead bodies are being found as well as Jamie at times disappearing only to appear later.... as for Michael you can keep him there to make Fans Happy and you have a mystery who is killing people Michael or Jamie. as for Jamie when she disappears and is found has no memory of where she was yet some evidance she may have killed someone... and Loomis trying to figure it out as well as police.
I'm glad they didn't end up making Jamie evil, but I wish they had handled her "disturbedness" better. I like the idea that she would be struggling with it and maybe have some kind of link to Michael, but I wish it never got explained, and left Jamie's ultimate fate ambiguous.
@Saleem Frazer Yep, not a fan, hehe.
Their original idea really started off intriguing. Kinda started going south in the middle there
I would love to hear about the almost made version of I Am Legend by Ridley Scott with Arnold Schwarzenegger that was half way done
Joblo and cinema void reviews did these years ago 👍
The fanbase keeps bringing up a requel to Halloween 4 as the next potential movie, with Jamie now 21 years old like Michael was, but I'm not sure what it might be like without Donald Pleasence. I can't imagine it..
A sequel to 5
It would be terrible. We've had enough bad Halloween movies at this point.
@@burmiester1 nothing hurts ..it would still made money.
I mean. Halloween was imagined to be an anthology series. So now that the blumhouse phase of halloween is over we can finally nuke the michael myers saga and create a bootleg jamie if you know what i mean
@@someguy7777 Get your Season of the Witch Netflix series then. The title Halloween belongs to Michael Myers and Jamie Lee Curtis don't own Michael Myers. F*ck her as a matter of fact. Haven't liked her since H20. she's not a fan of the franchise she's a fan of herself
This movie is actually very rewatchable compared to other Halloween sequels. I'd put it ahead of Kills and Rob Zombies poop
It wasn't cut. They say in Part 4 that Rachel's friend's name is Lindsay, and she mentions to Jamie that her mom (Jamie's) had been her babysitter when she was a kid. Doesn't take a genius to fill in the blanks. Geez did you even watch the movie?
Truthfully I could've included Jamie's internal mental struggle as a possible indication that this Celtic curse has a bloodline connection and Dr Loomis had a subspission about it
I think there should be a halloween tv series which all the ideas they wanted to do but couldn't (multiverse michael, killer kamie,be an anthology series. All the fun at the fair as they say)
I would've love to see this version of Halloween 5. Even if it's a dual personality of Jamie resisting the urge to kill. But, keep Tina.
Tina was a fox 🔥
I'm so glad they didn't make Jamie the killer in H5! I know Danielle had that idea in her mind forever until now but it would have ruined it if Jamie wasn't the survivor fighting against her uncle. I like it better with her struggling with the evil and never giving up on trying. Jamie is a little hero.
Presumably multiple Jamie's was a way to show that she was going crazy and not necessarily that she has superpowers. This devise rarely works unless it's Andy Serkis or Willem Dafoe. This original script needed more drafts, but I think it had more potential than the script they eventually went with since they were on a strict deadline to release the movie the following year.
I think it's pretty cool how you stitched together existing scenes and the odd image to give a feel of what the film might have looked like. I actually really liked the original timeline, I'm really not fussy on any of the films really, except I didn't see the H20: Resurrection because apparently they Laurie. I also haven't seen Rob Zombie's timeline remakes either.
Michael floating down the river is one of the more ridiculous moments in a ridiculous series
Can you explain why to me. I promise I'm not being funny, I'm just curious as to why its so ridiculous.
I hate Halloween 5 for pissing away the ending of part 4 which is my fave Halloween movie. Didn't help they introduced those derpy cops and shrill Tina. Even Loomis seems unpleasant in 5, shouting in Jamie's face non stop like some lecherous drunk.
5 has always been my least favorite of the original 8, aside from 3
Can’t we let Halloween Ends sink in before we even think about a new one
I think it has pretty much sunk in and sucks. People are already starting petitions to have it remade.
@@Peppers19781978 ya that just proves once again how dumb people are. How well did that GoT petition go? Exactly absolutely nowhere. People are babies. Movie is what it is. Deal with it.
Personally, I was glad they didn't make Jamie go
evil, as I liked her. But sadly the changes in V may
not have helped much for me, as Revenge was already
pretty dumb anyway, and based on your critique of
the 'Evil Inside Me' , I think it might have made things
worse.
To be continued .....
You get Michael’s powers and some of his personality when possessed by him. Same thing happens when possessed by Jason.
maybe they can pick up years later after the events of H4 and Jamie is in a institution, Rachel is alive and Michael comes back for another roundabout of Halloween mayhem...they did it for H2018 and wrapped up the Laurie story maybe the can redo the Jamie story too
I'd love to see the next movie be either remake or new SEASON OF THE WITCH but as a disconnected film to the HALLOWEEN franchise.
At 2:40, you forgot the line, the oh so famous "I HAAAVE NOOOO DAUUUGHTERRRR!" LOL
I was one of the few that wanted to see evil Jamie. Halloween ends takes on the idea of the transference of evil from one shape to the next. They cover that in h6 too. So it’s a theme that the og writers like. But for whatever reason they never go all the way with it. I did a review video on the different connections the Corey character has to other movies in the franchise. Halloween ends deserved better feedback
Here's an idea for a future
"WTF Happened to
This Unmade Horror Movie?"
Daniel Farrands'
*"H/>LLOWEEN 6 PART II"* aka
*"Michael Myers: Lord of The Dead"*
which revealed the entire town of Haddonfield being in cahoots with
the Thorn Cult.
According to Moustapha Akkad, Daniel Farrands' initial screenplay was too big in scope for one movie, so they thought of splitting it in two parts.
Some good ideas and some bad ideas in the unmade movie… It would have been cool to see what some rewrites could have done. And it would’ve been especially great if they could’ve made this movie if it meant that the Tina character never existed!
That actually sounds worse than what we got.
I think the finale of H4 is one of the few open endings that don’t really call for a sequel. The last scene tells us everything we need to know: that the same story will start again, just with a different face behind the mask.
I would like to see a video about Don coscarelli's unmade "Phantasm's End". Ravager was a decent end to the series, but I really would have loved to have seen coscarelli's original vision.
Great video keep up the halloween franchise videos they're great and no i'm not gonna type first
Even tho i kinda just did not meaning to
Here’s how I would have done Halloween 5: Jamie does inherit some of Michael’s evil, but not completely. She also uses her telepathic link to “judge” whether or not she should tell Loomis to save a teen. If they treat Rachel badly, they die. If they’re kind to her (or even spoil her), she attempts to protect them or alert Loomis. This childish abuse of power comes to an end when both Loomis AND Rachel become aware that Jamie *is* indeed corrupted. Loomis believing Jamie is beyond help, and Rachel believing she can be saved. It’s not until Rachel has to sacrifice herself at the end to protect Jamie from Michael, shocking Jamie from her evil and fighting back. She attempts to stop Michael from hurting Rachel, but it’s too late. She had to learn her lesson of having the power and thus in 6 seeks to make sure it’s gone, knowing Michael is dead. Michael is defeated in 5, and Jamie’s visions fade, but not disappear. Lindsey Wallace becomes Jamie’s “protector”, understanding the mess she endured, just like she did with Tommy.
I think the twist with Jamie being a new Mayers is a good idea.
That thumbnail is hilarious
I wouldn't have minded this version of pt.5
Amazing how broken and convoluted the Halloween timeline and lore is.
I would like to see you talk about Halloween: Tow Faces Of Evil.
Great video interesting stuff
Glad you enjoyed it
@@JoBloHorrorOriginals do you think jamie should have been evil in part 5 and not good
I wanna hang out with Tyler! He seems like fun!
having Jamie replace myers for a whole movie would be terrible lol. We see these movies for michael.
Well, I'd like to think that there would have been some reworking of that script before the final product, so yes. Yes, I would have liked to have seen this version of Halloween 5 over what we got.
Yeah, without all that weirdly supernatural stuff which treats Michael Myers as if he was Freddy Krueger or Pennywise being defeated by lack of fear from Jamie. Sorry, but fear Michael Myers or not, he will still kill regardless.
He is not Freddy Krueger or Pennywise, which both rely on fear to prey on their victims. Great thing this Halloween 5 wasn't made, yes the actual Halloween 5 is a bad movie, but I will prefer it over this script anyday.
I think Jamie being the killer could’ve worked as long as Michael was still in the movie. Honestly the so called “thorn trilogy” should really be called the wasted potential trilogy because H4 opened the door to so many interesting possibilities
@Review Your ChoicesPeople were definitely excited by the idea of Jamie becoming a killer though and again it could’ve worked if Michael was still in it. Ofc even if they hadn’t gone that direction, they still could’ve made a far better movie then H5. Just take out the psychic connection, don’t kill off Rachel instantly,no mute Jamie, not make Loomis unlikable, and don’t retcon the foster mother’s obvious death.
Correction: Rachel's boyfriend's name was Brady, not Barry.
Lance and Tyler are the Boogeymen of JoBlo Horror.
Well the concept of an evil Jaime is pretty good… that script needed some more time, red ink, and revisions. Especially in the third act.
Yeah that 3rd act of this script is very out of character for Michael Myers, it treats him as if he were Freddy Krueger who is defeated by lack of fear.
4 had by far the worst MM costume(what were they thinking having a thin guy who they made wear padding underneath!?!?
5 the mask is just embarrassingly awful. Bugs me every time I see it. LOOKS NOTHING LIKE A MM MASK.
What's up JOBLO Can you do Reviews on Funny Games(1997), Infection (2004), Marebito, Thirst (2008), and Bad Moon from 1996 please.
Just watched Halloween 5 again, and poor Jamie had a f@cked up childhood. Were the writers sitting together thinking amongst themselves “what’s the worst possible outcome for an 8 year old kid in this movie?” After watching the beginning of Halloween 6, Jamie had it 10x worse than Laurie Strode ever did.
that would have been so interesting!
She forgot about poor Barry??? I guess you forgot about poor Brady 🤣
Jamie Lloyd deserves a comeback, given the horrific crap they put her through in 5 and 6.
Ikr? If it weren’t for the fact that all 3 “Thorn Trilogy” films were handled by different writers (some with their hands tied thanks too moronic producers), I’d say someone out there was beyond sadistic considering all the suffering Jamie endured before her brutal death
She was trash 🚮 dude
@@mtb5431 It’s like they were mad at JLC for not returning to the franchise, so they made a character with her name to vent their frustrations out on.
Sometimes I wish they would just release these unmade scripts/ stories as novels or comics!! There is definitely a demand for them and people would pay money. 🤔
I appreciate that idea!
Can you do the unmade Halloween 2 the one set in a high rise apartment
Yessir!
Barry? It's Brady....
I Wrote a sequel to Halloween 4 called Halloween The Stigma Of Michael Meyers where Jamie Meyers awakens from a coma and takes on the stigma of Her uncle she possesses unusual strength and no pain and her wounds can heal instantly by some weird genetic blood growth.
I want this Meyers to be different she not only Dawns the mask but she stitches it to her face.
Who would like to play Jamie Meyers.
Also in tribute to John Carpenter the holiday of Halloween is banned in Hadonfield it is against the law to dress up hang Halloween decorations go tricker treating and to have Halloween parties this was his original treatment for Halloween 4.
Also she stitches the mask on her face and cuts her hair short she can all also run and is more athletic and agile than her uncle.
This movie would ignore Halloween 5-8 but it will reuses a few plot points like people starting there own Michael Meyers club who the cops are hunting and she goes after Tommy, Lindsay and her step sister Rachel I of course would be playing Rachel’s husband a cop who has to live in the hard law labors of hadonfield and hunt for the new Michael Meyers.
Well this is my movie pitch next year I’m making it happpen. But first I got to find a girl with short hair not a easy task.
The final script for Halloween Ends should have been one of those unmade movies!
You should talk about Puppet Wars. The unmade Puppet Master series.
I’ve always wondered who the girl in the truck was supposed to be in the scene where Rachel picks Jamie up from school. Hmm.. I just assumed it was Tina, before Tina-Tina
Still better than the final product
@JoBlo Horror Originals the unmade Halloween 5 sounds oddly like the recently released in theaters Halloween Ends.
When Miramax bought the rights to the Halloween franchise there was apparently talks of a Halloween/Hellrasier crossover.
I remember hearing this story and IMO, it sounded terrible. Jamie has super telekinetic powers like Tina in F13 Part 8? Dr. Loomis is a secondary villain? Scenes feel more like Elm Street than Halloween? Michael is hardly on screen? Michael making doppelgangers WITH telekinetic powers too? Are you f*cking serious? Lmao. And ending exactly like Jason Takes Manhattan and The Dream Child (both also from 1989) where the villain turns back into a kid. And it ends exactly where Halloween 4 ends without paying if Jamie is recovered and the next movie would be exactly where we just ended like Halloween 4 did again! People got pissed that Michael wasn't entirely the killer in Halloween Ends and was replaced by a wannabe, so can you imagine the actual shit storm fans would've had back in 1989 AFTER we just got Michael Myers back? It would've been just as a disaster despite how interesting the ending of H4 was. Ultimately I am SOOO glad we never got this version by a mile.
I guess you forgot about poor BRADY too, since you called him "Barry".
I love the evil Jamie plot
They chickened out with Halloween 5. This could have been great.
that was how the Halloween franchise should have ended, period.
Evil Jaime would have been better than 5 or 6. Or Resurrection.
Deff should consider redoing that version were Jamie is Evil be better then all those RZ and BlumHouse Reboots we didn’t need which are junk
Mediocre film or not, the lighting in the Jamie in the clown suit scene is truly creepy.
Halloween 5 chickened out to follow this storyline
They could have easily change the Loomis getting killed, and Jamie overcoming the evil side aspect of the script, and kept micheal as the killer while the people in the film thinking Jamie was becoming her uncle.
i never wanted jamie to become the next shape. i knew all along they were never going to take that route. what they should have done is ship jamie off to smith's grove and then have michael break into smith's grove (give haddonefield a break for one halloween) in an effort to either attempt to kill her or traumatize her to the point where she actually begins to think she could possibly be evil to get her to join up with him....which she ultimately refuses to do and in the end she turns on michael and possibly/apparently kills him and saves rachel in the process.
Love your storyline John! That would have been a good movie if done right.
@@hshawn00 thank you. i greatly appreciate it. i always thought it would be a good idea to have michael break back into the facility. this way you could have a change in the setting, but still be true to the original concept. then i saw a max von sydow movie called the night visitor from about 1971. in it he breaks out of the asylum periodically to murder those who had him institutionalized, only to break back into the asylum after each new murder he commits. then i was like 'well, maybe it isn't an original idea, but it would still be cool to see michael break back into smith's grove.' also, in my 'story' there was to have been a patient at smith's grove who was an edlerly man. this man some times seems to be helping jamie escape michael and other times he seems to he assisting michael in his quest to find her. this old guy would turn out to be charlie bowles who was mentioned in the graveyard scene in 1978's halloween as having hacked his family up after supper. one last idea for this comment ... it is revealed that deputy gary hunt (hunter von leer) in halloween II was judith myers's lover on halloween 1963. they both have blonde hair. the deputy says he can remember halloween 1963 in halloween II.
@@johnrunion5357 Wow, this just gets better and better. I love all the connections to the other films. I love any movie or tv series that remember its history and use it to progress the story in exciting new ways. This is definitely a fun concept. Thanks for sharing it!
@@hshawn00 another halloween series alumni i would like to have in what i call 'halloween 4. 5' is rev. jackson p. sayer from 4: the return. the preacher actually did catch up with the evil he had been pursuing for years that he makes reference to in his conversation with loomis . when the rev. caught up with his evil, he shot it six times and actually killed it. the preacher called it evil, but the authroties just saw the corpse of a dead man that the preacher had shot six times. when rev. jackson tried to tell everyone the person he had killed was evil incarnate everyone thought the preacher was insane and he was sent to smith's grove where he once again converses with loomis. while in smith's grove he / the preacher encounters michael and the preacher is convinced that michael REALLY is evil incarnate ... even well beyond what he had previously been pursuing and had ecountered/shot six times and killed. once i found a way to get all of the characters at smith's grove it just fell into place. loomis was no problem. michael of course was on the trail of jamie. jamie would actually be in smith's grove. charlie boyles and rev. jackson p. sayer would all ready be there. that just left gary hunt and rachel. gary could either be transporting paperwork about michael and/or jamie to the facility and rachel could be going to visit jamie there independently of each other OR gary hunt could be transporting rachel there for a visit with jamie and serving as her body guard. hunt while there encounters michael. he tells michael none of this was supposed to have happened. he tells michael he truly loved micahel's sister judith and they had plans to marry as soon as both were out of school. he tells michael that he / michael ruined his/gary's life by murdering judith and that is what set him/gary on his path of being involved in law enforcement; trying to prevent anyone else from ever suffering the kind of loss that he/gary did on halloween night 1963. this encounter of course ends badly for gary hunt. you are very welcome and thank you. thanks also for reading all of that!
Tommy would also have made a good copycat killer. Laurie Angel Myers too.
Can we all agree that the Halloween "franchise" is done? Finally, really done? Can we just let it go now?
@@larryb4598 Yeah, but should he though?
The Ending of the return of Michael Myers was unique would of been cool to poss see maybe Jamie as a comatose patient like Michael was at her age then go on a killing spree
OMG that would have been so awesome 🎃
Yeah, without all that weirdly supernatural stuff which treats Michael Myers as if he was Freddy Krueger or Pennywise being defeated by lack of fear from Jamie. Sorry, but fear Michael Myers or not, he will still kill regardless.
He is not Freddy Krueger or Pennywise, which both rely on fear to prey on their victims. Great thing this Halloween 5 wasn't made, yes the actual Halloween 5 is a bad movie, but I will prefer it over this script anyday.
Halloween 5 is better then H20, Resurrection, the zombie films, 2018, Kills, and Ends. 🤷♂️
Rachel have to return with her own family. And new group of people.
Halloween 5 with Jaime as the villain would have destroyed the franchise and robbed us of all those terrible sequels lol
Please talk about friday6. The version that never got made where Jason's father paid the cemetery caretaker to keep Jason's tomb.
I think who ever pick up the next Halloween should start off with the Jamie story. Start after 4,5, and go Crome there
We need Evil Jamie!
Halloween 5 is honestly good, it has minor issues but it took the same old Michael from 1,2,4 and gave him more depth. People just wanted the same film again for the third time and didn't want to explore the supernatural element of Michael, which is a shame.
Yeah because the more I want to learn about Michael, the more I realize the lamer he gets, and John Carpenter gets lamer from association. Nothing was better than this: Me just falling asleep, wondering why Michael might be the way he is, is better than this B-Movie Syfy shit that I was forced to sit through.
Michael fans seem to not like it when the writers do that with Jason and I don’t know why?
Because it's dumb how Michaelis defeated by lack of fear, which is way too out of character, not what Carpenter originally established the character of Michael Myers.
He's not Freddy Krueger.
This film is Oscar worthy next to Halloween Ends!
I would have enjoyed seeing Evil Jamie they could have her battle herself in her mind......almost like in Superman 3 you had evil Superman vs Clark Kent. that was a cool battle.
They could've gotten away with Jamie and Michael being killers n the movie. Just had the story where they was trying to help jamie get back to being normal but couldn't fix her because her n michael had some weird supernatural bond..
She could've even been the voice for the both of them and could've helped us understand michael even more
I wish that we got this Halloween 5 instead.
Not the exact movie I would have wanted but some of it sounds interesting..Jamie, Rachel & Loomis deserved far better than what we got
We could have gotten harris vs feldman teen myers vs teen jason
I think part 5 was supposed to give Michael and Jamie more than just a family relation, the mental link hinted at the end of part 4 indicated that Jamie might be or might produce the next vessel of this evil but it was never made clear by the next movie. The reason why the hermit nursed Michael is obvious,he felt pity for him without knowing what he really was
She got infected by the evil by touching his tattoo when he was on the ground.
There’s no way this would have ever been received well. It sounds like it took wild risks like Halloween Ends did and look how fans took that film.
After hearing that script, maybe the film we got wasn't that bad after all. I do like that it would've confirmed Lindsay was Lindsay Wallace, but I think everyone just presumes it's her in H4 anyway. But killing Loomis is always a bad idea. I don't mind a conflicted Jamie, but I'd never want the character to go full evil as a conclusion either. I just don't see an evil Jamie as being able to carry a series that needed a return of Michael to be successful in the first place (even if I love H3).
This movie isn't the worst of the franchise, that would be Resurrection, but it's still horrible. The stupid sound effects they used for those two cops was idiotic, Tina was a ridiculous character, and they totally screwed over the Jamie character arc. Oh well, what can you do about it?
What happened was Moustapha Akkad figured out the fans didn’t want any other killer besides Michael Myers.🎃🔪
Also don't replace Myers is main lesson, its always annoying an done poorly.
I don't think Jamie Lloyd as a child would have been a good choice to have her as the killer.. but maybe they should had made her the killer as an adult and Halloween 6 could have went that route but didn't.
I heard they rushed Halloween 5 so fast the script was not even finished when they started shooting.
