Charlotte keeping all her fan mail and taking offense to Anna for throwing them out is the cutest thing ever 🥹♥️
Right?! This is THE REASON she has such a large fan base. She is real, and that is what we all want to listen to. I care so much more what someone has to say that I know has common sense and critical thinking skills and she does , along with her humor and brains is KINDNESS and the cherry on top of all that she brings to the table is her stunning HUMBLE BEAUTY and this is why good things must come continue to come her way. ❤❤
Ain't gonna lie, After hearing this about Anna Kendrick, I feel differently about her now. Who doesn't appreciate their FANS? Ya know, the ones who helped get you where you are today?! Come closer, so I can smack you off that high horse you're one! 👋
Who the hell is Anna Kendrick? Never heard of her.
Oh, never mind. I just remembered that I don't care.
@@rachaelgibson2330Right? I used to like her!
@@LazyIRanch She's from Pitch Perfect Movies, and The Twilight Saga.
My favorite nice celebrity story is how Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman let Mara Wilson stay with them while filming Matilda and Mara's mom was dying of cancer. They even put the film together super quick so that Mara's mom could see it before she passed away. It legitimately is my favorite nice celebrity story.
I love them both! Rhea was my favorite on Cheers because she was the Grand Mistress of Petty Snarkiness, but such a petite person! I laughed more at her lines than everyone else combined.
I was sad to hear that their marriage ended. They seemed ideal for each other. I bet they remain close friends though, and still love each other.
Thank you for sharing this, I had not known about their kindness but I'm not at all surprised.
Yes!! That story never fails to make me emotional because kindness is beautiful and sometimes, so are people.
I love Danny DeVito! My aunt was a teenager in the 80s, when he pumped out quite a few movies and loved him. She introduced me to him with Matilda when I was, I think, 6 or 7. I loved it, and him. Now I still love him, but I also really respect him. He's one of the few celebrities who has held onto himself for decades, and not let a heartless place steal his soul!
Even when he played a bad guy he was so likeably hateable! I remember a movie I saw when I was about 10, though the name escapes me, where he and his GF kidnapped a woman, he was a real POS in it, and I think I laughed the whole way through it.
@@LazyIRanch I actually didn't know they broke up. That's really sad to learn!
@@LazyIRanchThey're separated, but still married. Rhea said she couldn't live without being married to him and they're much better and closer as they are now than when they lived together. My ex's grandparents were like that - they were married, just lived in different houses down the street from each other.
Honestly, Charlotte admitting she reads her fan mail to cheer herself when she's sad actually cheered me up and made me feel special even tho I've written her 0 fan mail
Ahhaahahahahaaha same 😂😂😂😂😂 i was like wellll now's my time to write you one haahahahaha😂😂
While i was an extra on Miss. Congeniality 2 I met Dolly Parton She was amazing carried a full on convo with me for like 30 minutes . She asked me about my life where i was from and told me i should leave my no good boyfriend i could do better haha . She was great she cared interacted with many of us :D it was like early 2000s.
I met one of the personal EMT's on staff for Dolly and she told me all about how she's one of the best and most caring people in the world. It's always great to know the people some look up to are genuinely kind and decent people.
OMG my Aunt got to meet Dolly a few years ago and listened when my aunt kinda started rambling about how meeting was the highest point of her life at the time (she was in a very toxic relationship with her ex) and that she wanted to work on a novel about her life but was struggling and Dolly told her she should pack up and leave him in the dust and head somewhere where her thoughts could "Fly free and uncaged" and that was the push my aunt needed to leave her ex and after about a year of working things out my Aunt moved to Colorado and started fresh and she really did flourish out there. It's been about 5 years and my aunt still thanks Dolly for giving her the push to put her on the path to meeting her soulmate. My aunt and her husband got married earlier this year.
She is amazing
@BadOmeNzGaming she is a he and a warlock
Omg i wish Dolly Parton would give me relationship advice! What an honour! 👑
I think the reason guy was weirded out that Selena Gomez was holding a real conversation with him is because celebrities don’t generally do that with either fans or regular people. Instead of rushing through to satisfy the fan, she was a normal person, having a normal conversation and being a genuinely nice person overall. She’s truly a rare gem in the famous circles and I think it really catches people off guard because we idolize celebs like they’re gods or something.
That's true, but he gave off very "cool kid who is so confused why you think you can sit with him" vibes lol. Hopefully it was unintentional.
I worked at a record store in Hollywood so I was lucky to see how many celebs love to hold conversations with the people they meet. Elijah Wood gives hugs, takes pics, signs any autograph, and would literally have to be pulled away from chats by his manager. I love these kind of stories!
Aren't fans regular people?
@@saracantrell7071 I got that vibe too, like "I'm so cool that when I meet a famous celebrity, I talk to them in this weird way, and later call THEM weird, 'cause I'm too cool to act like I'm impressed."
I don't believe for a second that he actually spoke to her in such a dismissive manner. I'm not sure I believe he even met her.
It sounds like Selena enjoys being treated like a normal person, so why would it be "weird" for her to have a little friendly chat with a stranger? If she hadn't been so nice and normal, his TikTok would be all about how snobby she was.
My ex was like this. He's worked at Disneyland for 43 years and has seen countless celebrities. My ex is a narcissist who thinks he can do everything better than anyone else. He had stories about all the famous people he's talked down to and dissed at Disney, which is utter rubbish. He would have been fired long ago if he'd actually been anything but respectful.🙄
That's one of his weird flexes, bragging about being an A-hole!🤨
@@saracantrell7071I think he felt like why would SHE wants to sit with him
True story - a friend of mine is a huge Susan Boyle fan and wrote her a couple of letters that Susan replied to. About 4 years ago, she was invited to the after party of one of her concerts. While sitting at a table, she felt someone hugging her from behind , turned and looked and it was Susan herself! Friends hubby snapped a pic and the expression of pure joy was amazing. A year later, Susan was neqr enough for friend to attend another concert. Susan remembered her! And was so sweet!
That's so wholesome. She really does seem to be so sweet
I would legit cry of happiness. Such an inspiring lady!❤❤
Me and my mum seen her at her local McDonald's, sadly she walked out before we could help but we walked in just as she was walking out. A bunch of idiots were bullying her, I don't know anything beforehand since we came through the door seconds before she left but I may have loudly called the idiots pathetic once we realised what had happened. I would have offered her a seat at our table if we were there sooner, my mum loves a good argument and hates bullying as much as I do so Susan would gave gotten peace to enjoy some greasy food.
Susan is a saint!
Oh that's so nice to hear.
The guy who mentioned encounter with Selena was just sharing how shock he was that a famous person gave him the time and treated him equal on her level. I heard a lot of positive stories about Selena being real and a genuine caring person.
me too i have a pic of her with the weeknd at my friends restaurant. she goes out without security and they were both really nice to my friend
I was SOOO stressed out during the Selena story. I would have been so heartbroken if it ended badly 😂
Yes! Especially just after hearing how terrible Anna Kendrick is!
Ahhhhhh! Same! 😅😅😅❤
Same.
Still don’t like that racist problematic narcissistic Selena girl
I was in the same anxiety boat. I’m not a celeb fan by any stretch but I love good humans. All I’ve ever heard about Selena has been GOOD and down to Earth.
My best celebrity meet was Tom Hiddleston in Sydney in 2012. I met him in the hotel, I gave him some fanart (which he LOVED) and we rode an elevator together while he looked at my sketchbook and complimented my David Bowie art. I then shook his hand and left the elevator and let him go about his day in peace. He was SUCH a gentleman and so nice.
Wow!!!!!❤
I met him at the Cleveland Indians game over ten years ago, he threw the first pitch of the game, I got to meet him and he was super nice, I told him how much I loved his accent lol 😂 I was so nervous he laughed and I got his autograph.
I met him at the Bifa awards in London, he signed my photo of him. He's literally THE sweetest, politest person I've ever met.
Oh this makes me happy!
The Baldur’s Gate 3 cast will look at fan art together and they have soooo many hand made gifts from the fans and they genuinely adore each and every one.
My greatest celebrity meet was meeting Mark Ruffalo. I was a server in NYC and he was kind, considerate, even asking me about my life! I hear that crap about Anna being offended that someone didn’t recognize her, but the literal Incredible Hulk was humble enough to introduce himself, after making sure he knew his server’s name. He even stacked his plates! 20/10 experience.
Awesome to hear
I love him so much!!! That’s awesome. I can’t believe Anna Kendrick is so rude to her fans.
he also used to be a waiter. on rollerblades no less. so he definitely remembered how hard it was before he got famous.
AND a plate stacker?!?? 😮
Cool! I remember seeing pictures of him with celebrities and being spotted geeking on other celebrities. Some of them were compiled into a meme saying something like "Will someone tell Mark Ruffalo he's famous too, now."
I meet Nickolas Cage on my b/day a few year's back & he was so lovely, he chatted with me for about 15-20 mins, wished me happy birthday & even had his pic taken with me ❤ it was an amazing end to a fantastic day ❤
I can imagine Selena probably just enjoys feeling a sense of normalcy. I would absolutely hate to be famous and not be able to live a normal life, shut away due to paparazzi etc. One of the simple joys in life is casual, friendly conversations with people, and I can't imagine many big celebs get that opportunity.
In 2016, Selena bought an electronic guitar set for a man around Christmas time. The story goes like this: This guy went to Guitar Center to buy a pedal, but there was only one person working in the store, and they were helping two other ladies who were there before him. Getting a little bored, he sat and played an electronic guitar he'd already seen in the store six months prior. One of the ladies then came up to him and started talking about music. She introduced herself as Selena from Grand Prairie, Texas, and asked him what type of set he had. She then offered to buy him the electronic guitar set he was playing and requested to hear him play. I'm guessing days after the encounter, he saw an article online about a woman donating to Cook's Children Hospital, and only then did he realize the lady who bought him a $5,000 electronic guitar set was Selena Gomez. This isn't the only time Selena has done something like this. She really is a sweetheart to everyone, whether they are her fans or not.
In a world full of Anna's, be a Selena.
Wow that is so sweet! Glad to know she is awesome.
No, she’s a narcissist victim player
I love her. She is just amazing in Only Murders In The Building.
Too bad she has been interacting with old non-viral hate tiktoks online lately. She gives me Ellen Degeneres vibes. Just nice for show.
My sister was working as a TSA agent when Dean Cane walked through. She just smiled and said "hey I know you". Dean then chatted with her for a little bit before moving forward. My sister was surprised at how nice he was and spent time being courteous when there was nothing to gain from it.
just being a human being
Anna Kendrick is Anna Kendrick in every movie. I'm not sure how she continues to get work unless there's going to be a documentary starring Anna Kendrick. Selena's such a sweetheart! You're the best, Charlotte!
I have a friend who works in fashion PR. It is a known fact that Anna Kendrick is a diva. That’s why she has been blacklisted by many designers. And that is why you don’t see her at fashion week as much because no one wants to deal with her attitude.
She was expecting to be PAID for this appearance to promote her own book? Sounds like SHE should be paying for the venue then.
I was gong to ask than why is she still famous, but I see she is getting back what she puts out there so that is good. It is funny when it is celebs that are not even that known, that are not that great, that beautiful, that talented, that whatever they think they are is so inflated in their own head, they get it in the end. I hope that made sense🥴😵💫😆
Here's me not knowing who Anna is
@@gwendolynmattison7804Me neither! But then I don't follow current pop stars and most young actors I wouldn't know about. I can't afford to go to movies, and I don't have TV or cable, just CZcams and the free Tubi channel for movies.
I'm also literally a hermit who only goes to town 2-3 times a month so there's a LOT I've missed in popular culture during the 16 years I've lived off-grid on a mountain... gee, I wonder who has won the last 4 presidential elections? I haven't been paying attention.
I’ve only ever read peoples experiences with her being positive and I just had to go goggle about this claim made by that woman on Tiktok to see if there was any truth and turns out she was proved to be a liar. She wasn’t present at that event she mentioned and there’s proof Anna kept the fan mail from that book tour. Anna known for being awkward and dry, something I never interpreted as rude, but I guess it can be picked up that way by others and some accusations are just straight up lies or fabricated. I wonder how many people will come away from this vid disliking her now when the story is not even true!
"Selena Gomez is a nice regular human, and I am so confused." 😂
Also, everything I've ever heard about Anna Kendrick has been absolutely awful. At this point, if I ever run into her I'll have my hand in my purse, on my pepper spray, the whole time. I'm less afraid of my high school bully. 😅
Kendrick gives me traumatic flashbacks to every time a girl was high key mean to me in college social settings.
Also, I was thinking, I think Selena is from Southern CA, and we from Southern CA, have a reputation for loving to exchange life stories with perfect strangers. So sue us. LOL!
Anna never struck me as a great actress… no matter the character she always seems to have that same underlying snobby vibe. I really liked Drinking Buddies (the rest of the cast was awesome, Olivia Wilde is bae) but Anna was definitely the worst part of the movie.
@@lilycollegemythbusters5532she’s also originally from Texas. Being Southern, she’s sweet
Never heard anything nice abt Anna K, guess that's consistent.
And Selena is a sweetheart, bless her.
Charlotte pulling out her fan mail/gifts and looking at them when she's sad is literally the most wholesome thing I've ever heard ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Love you, Charlotte xx
My cousin worked with Prince on the Super Bowl and she said he’s the most sweetest person ever.
Never meet your heroes. Except Weird Al. I met Weird Al, and all I could think to say was thank you. And he looked me dead in the eye, and gave me the most sincere "you're welcome" I've ever heard. Felt like the dude actually cared, and was listening for what I was saying, not just dismissing the people. Such a kind man.
I’ve heard other people say this too 😂. What a cool guy!
I met the band Ice Nine Kills, and all I could get out was "I love you!" And while Spencer was signing my warped tour bag, he said "I love you too!" 😆
Same experience after waiting in line for like 2 hours behind the venue after a concert. He was busy with people who had VIP tickets or something and then he had to eat, and then he sat on the steps of his tour bus when he was clearly exhausted and signed autographs for a whole line of people he didn't seem to be expecting. He was very humble about it. And it was almost midnight and he had many hours to drive to his next venue. Very sincere man.
No, no, no. I have to fundamentally disagree with this one. When I was in college (about 20 years ago) I worked security at a local state fair. Super popular event pre-pandemic, so every year they had a pretty decent headliner. He was it one of the years I worked there, and lucky me (or as it turned out, not so lucky), I got assigned to his direct security. I will say, at no point was he directly rude to me. However, he was horrible to nearly everyone who spoke to him, including the head of security. His attitude sucked, he was unkind, but this part definitely takes the cake. So this is a state fair right? Tons of local schools do booths (as they make a lot of money). Sports teams, activity groups, you name it. Not too far away from the area there was a group of cheerleaders from a local school. He asked to get some of the cheerleaders up on stage. I thought it was a little weird to start because these were high schoolers and of all the groups around, cheerleaders? But whatever, it was a nice way for that group to get a little extra attention for their booth. Bring up a couple and as soon as they approach he turned to staff behind him and said (this was 20 years ago so it is not verbatim, but darn close), "What, we can't find any pretty cheerleaders? Are they all ugly and fat?" Hopefully he has changed since then, but he was not a nice man, just good at faking it, and I wish I had not met him.
Weird Al is a god!!! lovehimsomuch!!
I met Pink and Carey Hart like 8 years ago, they came into the restuarant i had worked at, it was just the two of them that came in, no security or entourage, they came and sat at the bar, it took me a minute to realize it was Pink, and i finally worked up the courage to ask "are you pink" she smiled and said yeah, her and Carey where so delightful, they asked me about my day, id i had any fun plans for the weekend, etc etc, they hands down to this day have been the most pleasant and respectful celebrities I've met, and they tipped very nicely.
This genuinely makes me so happy because I would be DESTROYED if she was an A-hole. She is my favorite human on the planet(besides my family and friends of course).
Jealous
@@megabug79same way I feel about her! I would be destroyed! I imagine her being the absolute best human being on the earth, glad they were both awesome to you
you might not believe this but my dad i think was in a band with pink before she was pink
She just seems like such a fun and cool person. Carey did too. I am glad they are one or the real ones. ❤️
This is why when I do see a celebrity, I ignore them. Though in 1985 I was working at a store in NY. Mary Tyler Moore came in , I just greeted her like I would with everyone else. She then approached me for help and she turned out to be a regular customer of mine and she was very sweet. I realized why some people have said she was cold. It’s because she actually was a shy person.
My mom has a picture of her meeting Johnny Depp when they were both much younger in like the 90’s. She said he was very kind and super shy
When Johnny Depp filmed Public Enemies he came to my hometown to film at our old jail and sheriff's house. He was playing John Dillinger and my town is famous for being the small town jail he escaped from. They filmed in the middle of the night and when they stopped filming Johnny would walk around meeting people, taking pics, and signing autographs. Sometimes that was at 4am. My town didn't have hotels at that time so they had to drive 20 minutes to the nearest hotel, but he still took time to do this. When his wife was suing him I felt so bad for how she was treating him.
I think he was taken aback by how friendly Selina was. I didn’t read him as offended, but as in awe she was so involved in the convo.
Jessica Alba is a gem. Met her at a Coach party in Miami.
We were gifted a pair of sunglasses at this table and there were 12 different shades.
As I was looking through, she started helping me decide which pair looked the best.
Mind you, I had no idea who she was, and was thanking her for being so kind helping me choose.
I looked at her and thought to myself she’s such a beautiful person inside and out.
After we parted, my friends told me who she was and I started laughing because I almost said to her,
“You’re so beautiful, you could be a model”. 🤣🙌🏼💫
Jessica alba has been one of my favorites
I once went to a party with one of my friends, a huge drag queen party. I knew a few people because I went to school with them and wanted to support them, but then it was just really overpacked and hot and I started getting dizzy and not feeling well. I went to sit down, but fainted on the way there. I woke up next to a stranger on a bright red couch, wearing a super sparkly dress and a huge blond wig. I was so out of it, but when I was totally better and had some water, I realized that person was freaking Ru Paul!!! Absolutely kind and amazing person, he was so worried about me and I will never forget that moment no matter how embarrassed I was
OMG I would have lost my name if I got to meet Ru Paul!!!
A good friend of mine owns her own professional makeup company and often gets called on to do even makeup for local talent and sometimes media. She got hired to do Justin Beiber’s makeup for a concert he was giving at our fairgrounds (this was probably early 2010s?) and he was an absolute BRAT. It really tested her professionalism not to call him out on his disrespectful behavior and attitude. He basically paraded around town/shops before his concert like he owned the place, making a spectacle of himself with his little “crew”, and spoke to my friend with a self-importance he clearly hasn’t earned. Woof.
smh, not surprised
From what I’ve heard recently, he isn’t so bratty nowadays, but that’s really a shame to hear
just seeing how he treats his wife i am not shocked at all.
Edit: so it was confirmed the tiktokker stylist was lying, and Anna posted a picture of a fan letter she got at the exact event the stylist was talking about. So idk 🤷🏼♂️
Anna Kendrick being mean to her fans and nasty to regular people is so sad to me, I liked her 😢
Me too I even looked once on line for people that like her, no luck.. She doesn't deserve what she has. I do believe she MUST be a miserable human to treat others like that. Someone whom is happy would not treat others that way so feel bad for her I guess or think about the karma she is and will receive for treating other human beings, which is ALL THAT SHE IS, so horribly. She will get hers in the long run.. How sad for her to know that if she were to pass away tomorrow, no one, fans, would even be sad, people would speak about her like they do and what an awful" legacy" to have left behind when you are gone, everyone just remembering how bad she made them feel. She will get her karma, those that have to deal with her and people like her, just BE SO THANKFUL YOU ARE NOT THEM and continue to give love to those want to receive it.❤❤
she always plays mean girls in movies. the type to fake smile in your face and then talk about you behind your back.

The movie she was filming was probably “The Fundamentals of Caring” and it’s worth a watch. Also, don’t forget Selena accidentally was getting paid on tiktok when she was trying out tiktok live and she freaked out when she found out the emojis meant fans were something money and she was telling everybody to not send her any money.
She’s a gem.❤
Thank you for reminding me of that movie. I need to watch it again.

The fundamentals of caring is so awesome!!! I love her in Only murders in the building!
she abuses the kidney her bestie gave her and ghosted her
Uhh she’s rich so it’s not a big deal to her. It’d be like if people were donating pennies to us. It’s just not that amazing of a gesture lol
Charlotte having her own Treasure Box filled with her fans gifts is just so wholesome. 🥰
I have met a bunch of disgusting human beings that are “famous…” you know who wasn’t? YOU! I met you years ago when you were with IO. You were so kind and sweet. I was the one that shook when I met you. I was literally shaking. You said “awwww babes, are you okay?” Such a beautiful experience
Awwwww I love this, I really love this!!

That's darn cute
Hehe I read that quote in her voice❤
This is so sweet ❤️
My sister met Selena when they were younger. Probably the beginning of Wizards. They just talked and swung on swings together. Our moms were friends. Sister says Selena was very nice and jokes with my brother that Selena said he was cute. I’ll never know if that part was true but she still stands by it to this day. I’m sure it’s been a boost to my brothers confidence.
The first girl is a stylist for a clothing store, not a book store. Anna Kendrick was having a book signing, so as a stylist she was pulling looks for her to wear. It had nothing to do with advertising the clothes, she was literally just doing her job.
Haha before I saw your comment I made the same comment.
But her job was not to find a look AND pay her to wear it.
When I was a child I was at Universal Studios Hollywood. My father pointed out some guy with strange hair. He was super nice and friendly. We all took pictures together and I totally forgot about it until looking at old photos with my parents. That man with strange hair was Weird Al. Very kind man.
Yes. I have heard zero negative things about Al.
@@RyanBlackhawkeI once worked a concert set for Weird Al and this man was so demanding and wouldn't let any of the stage hands talk to him on our spare time. He was incredibly rude and just someone I'd never work for again. I'm glad some people have a great experience, but really he's a diva
My mom taught a celebrity's daughter in the late 80's early 90's; Sissy Spacek. She's Carry in the original Carry movie, for reference. I got to meet her a couple of times, and babysat for her once. Super sweet and down to earth.
I was impressed by the kindness of Dwight Yoakum. I was able to see him in concert several times at Buck Owens' bar, The Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA. He was always just a friendly, humble guy. One night after he did a full concert, he then spent the next couple of hours in the parking lot at his tour bus meeting with the fans. There were hundreds of people out there and he literally took the time to speak with each person, taking photos, signing merch, etc. He stayed until every single person was greeted. All class. I understand why most entertainers can't do that but why do you have to be rude and cold to the very people that put you where you are? It costs nothing to be kind.
My cousin went to high school with Anna Kendrick and he can confirm that she was this mean and entitled lol at least she's consistent
Why was she so entitled before she was famous?! I get how people get swollen heads from being famous but how do you get so arrogant without doing anything noteworthy.

@@bhart3321I had the same thought! Haha. You're still an ain't-shit in high school!
@@bhart3321 Unless you were homeschooled, you surely have met some people who act like that.
There were definitely some uppity people where I went to school. Some were pretty, some had money, some just knew people that were pretty and had money. Junior high is where friendship are either solidified or obliviated. By high school many people you had slumber parties with and passed notes to in class or spent half your waking hours with walk past you in the hall and don't even make eye contact with you. I can imagine any one of those people making it big and treating their fans like lepers. Nasty people have talent too. Not fair but fact.
I met Eddie Murphy once. I was so nervous there were tears in my eyes. He gave me a hug and asked about my life goals and dreams. I love him forever for that!
I don’t have a celebrity to expose, but I’m friends with a singer who was on the radio. She lost all rights to her music, quit where she was previously working (at a small, family business), and started working at a bakery. Apparently she wanted a more flexible schedule so that’s understandable. She was beautiful and had a wonderful voice! I’m not saying her name because of safety reasons. I don’t talk to her anymore, but she’s just so cool! She isn’t famous, but she sure can be!! :)
One of my best friends cousins is married to Carrie's drummer, she didn't talk to anyone who wasn't her drummers immediate family and completely ignored everyone else. My friends family isn't too fond of her lol
When I was in 3rd grade my mom took me and my older sister to a P!nk concert, my mom started shoving us through this crowd and we were so annoyed but then we looked up and THERE SHE WAS! she said hello and hugged a bunch of us and asked us our favorite songs, (I was little so I just copied my sister and said 'Family Portrait'), later during the concert she dedicated that song to my sister. I have always and will always love her, that was my first concert and will always be one of the best for how sweet she was to take so much time to meet and connect with her young fans!
Pink is amazing 💕
You being little and copying your sisters fav song made me giggle. I can totally see how cute this was. Your mom sounds so awesome for making this happen for you two.
8 years ago, I attended my first ever comic convention. I went with my mom and it was really crazy busy. Anyways, the main reason why I had attended was that a very well-known actor was attending who was on my favorite show Game of Thrones. One of the first things I did was buy a poster for him to sign and then went to look for where he was doing his signing. When I met him, he was such a sweet guy and very down to earth. He asked me for my name and signed my poster addressed to me. I asked him if he was working on anything and he was currently working on a big superhero movie. Hours later, I waited for my picture to be taken with him. Again, he was very friendly and not to mention, way taller in person. While we were waiting for our picture, he literally used my shoulder as an armrest. This well-known actor that I met was none other than Jason Momoa himself. I still have my picture and signed poster to this very day.
He looks like a sweetie. It's in the eyes. You can see through to the real person.
Low key so jealous you met my dream man 😂 he really seems like the nicest dude, always. Glad you confirmed
WOW!
I met him when I was pregnant with third daughter and when we did the photo he put his hand on my stomach for good luck lmao, I told him if it was a boy we were going to name him Tyrion he said 'I just hope he isn't as short as him!' I had my Khal Drogo pop funko signed by him at the same convention and he remembered me and had another chat with me. Definitely such a sweet guy. My daughter is 10 now and if I ever did go to a convention he was at again I'd take her even though he probably wouldnt remember me now. Still such a nice memory.
I used to be a customer service representative for Spectrum. One time I was talking to a customer on the phone and we were rebooting her cable box. She told me a story about when she was at a convention to see Jason Momoa. She was going to take a picture with him but she lost her balance because she had a broken leg and accidentally caught her fall by grabbing Jason's arse. She felt so embarrassed and all he did was laugh and smile and help her up so they could take the picture. I believe whole heartedly that he has to be a great human lol.
I met Steve Harwell (lead singer of Smashmouth) He gave me pizza, hung out with me, autographed my tshirt and I overheard him ask someone to put the drawing I gave him in his car. RIP ❤ he was awesome
I was his bartender one night at the Hyatt Place in Champaign Illinois about 10 years ago. It was him his girlfriend Fancy and my parents at the bar It is, was, and will always be the weirdest night of my life. 😂😂
A friend's brother was one of their roadies back in the day. The friend's brother died and the members of Smashmouth and a Chicago band, Poi Dog Pondering, came to my small town for his wake and funeral.
I love so much that Charlotte is always so real about her opinions and says the things we all want to say! But nicer than I could ever imagine. Def all need a friend like Charlotte!
Ugh i LOVE the story about Selena & i absolutely believe it. I truly wish nothing but the absolute best for her, she's been through so much & continues to be relentlessly scrutinized. I'm glad she hasn't lost her kind heart💜
I was sitting here thinking “there’s no way that this could end horribly… Selena is an absolute treasure.” And I’m so glad to know she is still such an angel. I just love her.
@@DeathByBlonde1 I work really hard to not put her on a pedestal. I don't want to hold her to any insane standard. But she does always seem to be such a sweetheart and every time her name comes up in one of these exposed videos I feel my heart drop a little bit. And then it's usually harmless or her still being such a sweet person. I am not even half as friendly or kind as Selena on my best days and really I should probably do better.
Very strange that the law student was freaked out be pleasant chit chat. He really seemed bewildered and threatened by it. 😮
I was waiting for him to say that she wanted him to help cover a crime or something 😂😂😂😂
@@caiargagnonRight the way he was talking about it I was thinking "What did she want you to help cover up a crime she's too sweet for that" 😂😂😂
My friend was a backup dancer for Selena and he always had such nice things to say about her. Said she is one of the nicest humans he has ever met. Not the same praise for some of her friends.
Way too good for Justin bieber

My MIL loved Billy Joel, when she found out he was having a baby same year as her youngest, she hand made his baby a raggedy Andy. He sent each and every one of her children a handwritten letter signed by him and his wife, and sigend photos for EVERYONE
My husband used to work for a security company. They did football games, concerts, etc. There is a golf/concert event at the Greenbrier in West Virginia. He worked the security for the concert portion of the event. He called me one morning to tell me who he had met and how they were. He actually followed Brad Paisley on a golf cart while he did his morning run. My husband said he was soooo nice! He talked to him like a person, thanked him for going with him, offered him some merch (which they were not allowed to accept). He also met Reba and Carrie Underwood on this trip. He said Reba was as sweet as you would think and Carrie was as nasty as you have heard. This upset him because his Mom was a big fan and he had to fib to her when asked how she was in person, he didn't want to upset his Mom so he told her she was nice and sweet. When you choose to become someone who is in the public eye and has tons of fans then you need to realize that you are going to be approached in public, so BE NICE!! If it wasn't for the fans some of them wouldn't be where they are now. Very sad to act like that!
I grew up in NE Texas, and my mom was from Oklahoma. She grew up very close to where Reba grew up. First time I saw Reba's TV show, I just loved her humor, adorable personality and looks, and the fact that her voice sounds just like my Momma's! My mom had a wonderful singing voice, too.
22 Years ago, I moved from my hometown in Texas to S. California, where _no one_ sounds like me. I didn't know I had such a twangy drawl until I moved here. I get teased a bit, but to my delight, I'm often told that I sound just like Reba! I want to hug them, because I take that as a compliment. I've never met a person who hates Reba, and I don't want to!
I met Selena in the DT at my work and she was really nice I just ignored that she was a celebrity and so did she and that was nice 😊
I met Kathleen Turner back in the 90’s when I was working at a farmers market and I swear she was the nicest person I’ve ever met. I am forever her fan! ❤
@@LolaKatz Thank you for sharing that experience! She's one of my favorite 80s actresses and I've always wanted to be able to speak like her. She has the most sultry voice! I have a low voice too, but it never sounds "sexy" because a Southern twang doesn't seem to be a turn on when I sound like Gomer Pyle, but with a deeper voice.😮💨
If it wasn't for the fans, NONE of them would really be where they are now, because if talent isn't recognized it just goes nowhere.
Me and my daughter watch you every day. She just turned one and everytime she sees you on the tv she smiles and starts to dance. You make our day bette! ❤️ Thank you ☺️
That is so adorable! I love it when kids do stuff like that. I love seeing my nieces do stuff like that. I wish we could record them every second because every time they do something cute or funny, I want to see it over and over again 😅 I bet your daughter’s first words will be “hey everybody!” 😂
I was just telling my husband that if our kids were little, they would have LOVED her too and how cute it would have been. They would know her name and their little voices would yell, " HEY EVERYBODY "❤❤❤❤
Love this ❤️
give her a hug for me!
Charlotte needs to stay on YT until I can have this experience with my little ones... Someday❤
Selena Gomez is an amazing human. Every time anyone talks about meeting her, it’s exactly as this man described.
You being mad at someone throwing away their far mail shows your integrity. I love you Charlotte.
I worked on a music event and I can confirm that Stevie Wonder is the nicest human being ever. I was a PA for him and every time I would walk into his dressing room I would bust into the biggest smile. Finally after the 5th time his assistant looks at me and says, “You know he can’t see right?” Stevie, probably used to this, turned around and said, “But I can feel her smiling.” Love that man.
In addition, at that event I was a PA for Queen Latifah, Pat Benetar, and a horrible witch who shall not be named. The first two were wonderful as well. The witch was awful, demanding, and dismissive. It really sucked because I thought she was awesome at the time and was a huge fan.
You are so lucky!!!! You just named some of my favorite singer/musician and i cant even imagine how great of a job this can be!!
Now we get to guess who the witch is, right? Fun game. Ummm...the internet wants me to guess Natalie Cole or Bette Midler. One of those two has *played* a witch on screen...
Yay to Queen Latifah!
@@NatalyaCherryIt was VH1 Divas Duets 2003 and was one of the last people on the list you would imagine being a jerk.

A few of those fine females are no longer among the living, and I don't want to speak ill of the dead, plus I don't want to believe it would have been Whitney, so I won't even guess, but you've got my mind a bubbling, since some are still VERY much in the silver, glistening spotlight, so to speak.
I met Jim Cummings at a convention, and I had to wait in line a bit longer than planned, because a camera crew approached him and asked if he’d say a few words for a suicide prevention program. He gave the most beautiful speech about hope and love, and everyone in line, including myself, was in tears at the end. Then he met with all of us, apologizing for the extra wait. Nobody was upset. ❤
the former Hockey player...?
There is also a voice actor named Jim Cummings who is in so many movies and tv shows.
@@csnide6702 Yeah, the voice actor one! Sorry, I didn’t know there was a hockey player with the same name! This guy is the voice of Winnie the Pooh, tigger, darkwing duck, and a bunch of other stuff. He was pretty much my childhood! Sorry for the confusion!😅
@@kristipearce4819 oh wow..... ! that is cool.... The hockey player was areal bruiser so the name shocked me.
I've also met Jim Cummings the voice actor at a convention and can confirm he's a sweetheart. He was so friendly and would do bits from the characters you liked while he was signing, everyone in that line walked away with a smile
The fact that you keep your fan Mail and read it when you’re sad is just so freaking sweet and relatable and now I want to send you some fan Mail so I can help you feel better the next time you’re feeling low.
My BFF and I met Sam McMurray (Chandler Bing’s boss) at a Golden Girls convention in Chicago last year. He was so nice. My BFF was a huge Friends fan and got a picture with him. But we chatted with him for at least 30 minutes. As we finished talking to Sam, David Leisure came almost running out of his booth, because he wanted to talk to my friend about her service dog and asked her if he could take a pic of her dog. Koda (service dog) is a very handsome black German Shepherd. Granted they could have all just been super nice because of her gorgeous service dog Koda (who had people fawning over him but not touching of course).
Selena Gomez having a chill convo with a fan and being genuine made me so happy. When he mentioned her I was so nervous something negative would be said. 😭
I knew he wasnt going to say anything bad I've have only heard positive and good things about her
Same lol
her: upset that she isn't recognised..... also her: throw the fan mail in the trash.....
At this point, I'd rather support influencers like you, than movie and tv actors. Keep up the good work Charlotte. Love your content.
Strangely, I have a few celebrity encounters from living and working in Pendleton, Oregon. Because of the Pendleton Roundup (A large rodeo festival) and it being the only town on the freeway for miles and miles, it kinda became a celebrity hotspot. My mom was a server at Denny's and met many celebirties. Garth Brooks she said was so down to earth, she had no idea it was him until her friend pointed it out. He was just a regular guy with a small group but very very kind. Ice T had a large entourage and one guy was so extremely rude and demanding, and my mom is a 5'2" spitfire and told the guy off, Ice T comes in at that time and asks what the problem is, my mom tells him his friend is acting a fool, and he immediately turns and chastises the guy, telling him to behave or he would find his own way home. She said Ice T himself was very gracious and a great tipper. I met LeAnn Rhimes and she was a total hag. She was supposed to do a fan signing at the Walmart I worked at and I worked in the electronics department so I was helping the CD vendor set up. LeAnn Rhimes was pitching a fit about doing a signing and complained and threw the "I'm a big celebrity, this is below me blah blah blah" BS so the vendor looks at me, we both nod, and she looks at LeAnn Rhimes and says, "You think meeting your fans is below you? Then Walmart selling your CDs is below us", and then pulls the entire display and all CDs of hers out of the store. We didn't sell another for awhile after that. But later I was the sous chef at the country club and Tracy Byrd was a sweetheart and listened to me tell him stories of bass fishing with my dad. And Willie Nelson was so kind and mild mannered. And Bruce Willis was so awesome. He was kind and gracious when I could barely speak because I was such a star struck teenage girl.
Bruce Willis was kind to me as well when I was an awkward 15-year-old. His daughters were still very young at the time but he had such fun girl-dad vibes. It’s a sweet memory.
I've been rewatching your older videos, and I really love how you've developed your style (from hair and makeup to your attitude in the videos). It really feels like you've become fully comfortable on camera and I'm loving it! 💕

@@CharlotteDobre Wait until your late 30's. It's all "dressing gown is inside out, I'm buying ice cream, don't give a fuck" haha
Before she got famous, Carrie Underwood went to college in my hometown. This was something I was initially proud of, as not many famous people are Oklahoma born and raised. There were a few people I knew that had either met her personally before she went on American Idol or knew someone who had. Negative reviews all around. Which was okay to me because I didn't like her music anyway. It just always bothers me when she appears on CMA commercials like she's a sweetheart or something when she has never been as such. It is kind of heartbreaking because most Oklahomans will give you the clothes off their backs if they have any... And then there's her. 💔 And she's apparently been awful for a very long time...
Her parents had her in pageants and performing from a very early age. Do you think that may have shaped her attitude because they love it when you have attitudes /personality in those types of settings.
@@carrington2949I would say more than likely, yes. Pageant kids grow their whole lives hearing how beautiful, graceful, poised, blah, blah they are from an early age so it can easily screw kids that will grow into screwed up adults. It all goes to their head and they forget they’re people like everyone else. Just my opinion.
True that. I broke down on the road one time in Oklahoma. It was freezing cold, we were on the turnpike, my wife was sick... I spotted a house across a long field. I decided it was the only way I could use a phone. The sweet folks came outside and yelled at me that they'd already called a tow truck for us. I went back and told my wife help was on the way. The tow truck driver was a kind man. He called ahead, arranged for the repair shop to order the parts we needed. He got us into a hotel. He said it would take 2 to 3 days to get the parts and fix the vehicle. The chief of police came down and talked to me... I had just tucked my sick wife in bed. The chief said do you have enough to cover the stay. I said just barely, and he said okay, pack up your stuff in the morning, you're coming and staying at my house. So the next three days we stayed with the chief. I have nothing but good to say about the people of Oklahoma.
When our car was fixed, all the tow truck driver would take was a check for the cost of the parts. The chief wouldn't take a cent. Instead they handed me an envelope and said here's some traveling money. I said I get paid the end of month. They said no, don't send us money. Pay it forward. So I stop and help people when they're in trouble on the road because of the good people of Oklahoma.

What's wrong with Selena being a good person? Lol wtffff
My thought exactly
one of my favourite celebrity interactions i had was in the line-up for australian convention supanova a few years ago (pre pandemic). a voice actor i really like was there, and i was so excited to meet him. my mum decided to join me in line - sacrificing seeing two actresses she wanted to see to hang out with me and try to stop me from fainting - but as we were waiting, there was a guy who wanted to be a voice actor who came up and talked to the v/a. he gave him advice and inspiration, while mum and i were just sitting there, eyes wide as we listened to the conversation. he was also really nice to us as well!
Some celebrities are WAY nicer than you could imagine. A friend and I once had tea with Vincent Price and his wife while camping on the California coastline. This was years ago, I think I was maybe 8 or 9 years old. Our parents didn't believe us that it happened until this huge camper stops in front of our campsite and Vincent and his wife get out to say goodbye to us before they left. Most celebrities I've ever met have been super nice.
OH! MY! GOD! I LOVED Vincent Price! So nice to hear that he does have a heart. Hopefully not EAP's.
OMGGGGGG I would have died!! I am a huge old school horror junkie and he was the MAN!!!!!! Very cool!!!
Worst celebrity encounter I ever had was Chuck Yeager. The best is a toss up between Jimmy Buffet and Alyssa Milano. The weirdest was John Denver because we randomly encountered each other three different times. The first time he almost ran me over in front of the Jerome Hotel in Aspen, the second time , I was peeking in the window of his Lear jet while it was getting serviced in Broomfield( I didn't know it was his) and the 3rd, I got seated next to him on a commercial flight. When I sat down, he turned to me and asked where he knew from because I looked familiar. LOL
Your John Denver stories sound like legends. Or a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode. I love the idea of him just not quite recognizing you.
@@mage1439 Yep, it was completely surreal just stumbling across him those times. When I reflect on this, I believe God's sense of humor is underrated. I mean, the street could have not been icy and Id've never fallen. Or, he could have just ran me over. Either way the results would have been different. Weird... Just weird
Someone who shocked me at being super down to earth when I met them was Kamora Lee Simmons. I met her at a Christmas party. I was a personal assistant to a model and she brought me to the party. She walked up to this shy woman standing along a wall holding a drink and said "Kamora, this is my assistant." After introductions my boss walked away. Very awkward of my boss, but Kamora and I stood there quietly. We talked a bit, she seemed honestly just as normal as a friend. It didn't even register until after the party that it wasn't just some girl named Kamora. LOL
I remember i think i was like 8-12 in that age gap. I was running errands with my aunt and met Caroline Rhae (Aunt Hilda from Sabrina the teenage witch). I was so excited and nervous but she just laughed (not in a mean way) along with me and gave me an autograph and a picture. I was so happy she was such an amazing funny person.
I don't know if you know but Caroline Rhea is Canadian, I'm from the UK and I've heard that Canadians 🇨🇦 are super kind and friendly, so this doesn't surprise me.

I was in Sudbury, Ontario, for university, and I was downtown grocery shopping. I came out of the mall, arms full of bags, looking for a cab. A cab had pulled out and a man was getting out and paying... he saw me and rushed over to help me with my bags.. he was so kind. I settled in the cab after the former passenger had left, and the driver says to me "Do you know who that was?". I did not (but I should have... I was music director and a DJ for my university radio station)... it was Alice Cooper without his makeup on. He was in town to give a concert. I will never forget how he came to my rescue to help me and put my bags in the trunk of the taxi.

The way I knew the NYE celeb was Carrie underwood 😂 worked in Nashville for years and she was notorious for this kind of behavior. When she hosted the CMAs, she would make us clear the hallway before she would walk to stage. No one could stand anywhere near her dressing room during rehearsals. Meanwhile Brad paisley talked to everyone and shook all our hands and said thank you 😂
I’m so happy to hear that about Brad Paisley! I’d never even heard of him until I was scrolling through the radio stations and happened upon this song that was just starting. When I was 13 years old I got to meet my favourite singer and absolute idol Delta Goodrem. My sister and I bought her first album the day it came out and got free tickets to a promotional concert she did in our city. She stayed after the concert and met every single person. We were in a line for probably 1.5 hours + and it was hot and sweaty and by the time we got to her I was so overwhelmed and kind of delirious and started crying and told her I loved her, and she held my hand and said “I love you too sweetheart” ❤ and she signed our CD album covers and took a photo with us, in which I look a complete mess, but she was so kind ❤❤❤
"How could you get tired of hearing you're someone's idol?" She was on American IDOL. 😂 Her fans literally got her where she is today.
The first rude celebrity story I remember hearing was on the radio and it was about Carrie Underwood and how terrible she was to a waitress while the guy she was with was so apologetic about her attitude. Since then I’ve only heard stories that back that one up and not a single negative story about any other country songstress, so I knew the moment Miss America 2016 said she’s admired “her” when it came to singing, I knew it was her.

I totally believe that Carrie Underwood is the rude musician. I learned her entire personality when they said she wouldn't do any public appearances after whatever scary accident she had, UNTIL HER SCAR HEALED! She felt that the tiny scar on her face made her look ugly.I have a huge scar on my neck that will never go away after having my thyroid removed. And multiple scars on my face from a car accident in 1999. Scars show that we survived things, they don't make us ugly. She told fans with scars they are ugly in that statement.
I have large scars on my neck from being hit by a drunk driver, and scars all over my body from other things. Most of them don't bother me a bit. Granted, I wish I didn't have so many on my face, but oh well. Our souls are who we are, not our temporary bodies.

I worked at a bookstore that did the purchasing of the books for Romance confrences. The bookstore owner had a story about an author who came while they were setting things up, she complained about table placement, amount of books were there, etc. My boss was not getting paid for this part of things. Then one author, Fabio, yes he wrote books, he saw her unpacking books, moving tables and setting things up. He stopped what he was doing and helped her set up everything except the rude authors table. When she came in for the book signing, she was pissed. Needless to say, we always carried Fabio's books and said nothing but good things about him, while at the same time we never recommended the rude author's books to anyone.
Oh my goodness, that was so sweet of him! Such a gentleman!
You know now that you mention it I don’t think I’ve ever a bad story about Fabio.
Why am I not surprised about this? I've seen interviews with him on several topics not just his books, and he just always comes across as an authentically good person. Some things you just can't fake.

A book signing... That implies it's HER book. A book she's trying to sell to make money. And she wants you to pay her to help her sell her book? lol. Oooookay.
If she doesn't want gifts from fans - she can nicely tell them not to give them. Gift cards can be donated to charities.
Seriously I hope that girl went through those bags and kept the gift cards.
I love how Anna went from being annoyed by the fan mail and gifts, to be livid that the assistant had no idea who she was I read once where John Wayne was very gracious with fans, taking time to talk, autographs etc. He was asked once does he get bother by people asking for autographs, or talking to him. His response was classic, " I would be more bother if they stopped". As that means they no longer care and will not support his work.
What's interesting is, my spirit has never liked Anna Kendrick and now I know why, she had the energy of a mean girl. In the past, as soon as I found out she was in a movie I was turned off.
Charlotte is so sweet . Keeping all the fan mail she receives . Hope she keeps getting wholesome heartfelt gifts . 😊
I 100% believe Carrie Underwood is rude af. My aunt lived in the apartment below her when she was living in my town years ago. She would constantly get mad at them and call the cops on my aunt and her bestfriend. One time when my aunt was having a party (that Carrie was invited to) she came and banged on the door yelled at them and eventually called the cops on them. Funnily enough all the cops did was just ask them to turn the music down because Carrie would call the cops a lot and they were kind of annoyed by it at that point in time.. lmao she used to be a literal Karen!!😂😂
I knew it was carrie Underwood. She's awful
O.o Jesus take the wheel!

I love and follow a Japanese guitarist (shout out to my Miyavi fans in the chat!) and had the honor to attend an event that he was at. I wasn’t going to go up and say hi but my friend who I was with dragged me over there. He was great. I’ve followed him for literally 20 years. I can’t wait until his next concert!
Absolutely love your content much love from the UK ❤❤❤❤❤
