If it's a trade off for more content, I'll take it. Obviously better together but more of a podcast than something to watch
We will have to take this on the channel at times. This isn't there job, work commitments with TV, Radio , sponsors etc they can't always be together in one place at the sametime.

In terms of united transfer business its as much about value for money and how the players fit into the team as spending 200m on 4-5 players providing the team with depth in key positions is better than spending 120m+ on one player for the first team

just watching the England Colombia women's game at the same time. for an England corner, all the players lined up bunched together before sprinting in different directions. pretty sure Alan pioneered this tactic at the Toon.
Why are pundits still talking about a “top 4” for this season, as if there’s some relevance to it, top 4 was spoken about before because it was Champions League qualification places… given that the Premier League will get an extra qualification place because the Champions League is expanding from 32 teams to 36 in 2024, surely the conversations should be around the top 5.
For Bournemouth to make the decision to change manager before pre-season was the right time to change instead of waiting. Iraola had a proven history on a budget. Gary O’Neill improved throughout last season but he was no Eddie Howe.
We are all hoping for someone to shock us within the squad and go on a good run but we are all fearing the worst if we're being honest
If Newcastle can cope playin midweek amd continue to play like they did yesterday they will do well this season

This needed to be done after the transfer window closed and a few games had been played, a much better view would have been obtained at that point.
Before a ball was kicked I did my own predictions n had the top 8 as City, Assna, Liverpool, United, Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa n Brighton with the 3 relegated teams being Luton, Wolves n Sheff U✅✅
If you just record yourself on a different camera and then use that footage instead of the webcam footage, your quality would be better than most of the other podcasts (when not in the same room).

I see Alan's point about Forest being bottom-three, and who'd blame him? We were awful at St James' Park last season. I do think this season is going to be even harder than last because that siege mentality is hard to replicate. I'll take 16th again

I agree with your wolves views, but I don’t think losing neves will be a huge loss for us with the way nunes is progressing, big season for him
Agreed, people don't understand that we still have a lot of quality center mids (nunes, lemina, b traore, gomes, hodge)
@@jonathanchen5906 we do have a lot of quality, the biggest thing for me is how pedestrian our midfield was with Neves and Moutinho - 3 seasons ago Mouts was THE player in the PL who statistically was run past most often. Rubens feet was also too slow at times.
Now the midfield is more dynamic, better equipped to battle hard for the ball and progress up the field.
Shhhhh! You can't say that! Neves was our side basically! All the noise about wolves going down has gone with the man utd game, we should take more chances I agree. But we will be about 13th or something daft, still have some cracking players in that side.

It would be interesting to ask Richards some of his opinions on the technical aspects of goalkeeper play vis a vis defenders. Would he have liked to play with Onana, and why? You say this format gives you more time to go deeper in discussing things than motd but this just feels like an extended version, and doesn’t fully take advantage of the format imo.

In fairness this is an episode where they are going to have to be brief cause they have to get through 20 teams in about 2 minutes each so not much time to go in too deep here, but hopefully for future episodes we will see a bit more of that
For Newcastle, 5th will get them Champions League with the new format next year.

Genuine Q - why is shearer recognised as PL top scorer when it’s really just the old division one with new name and sponsor ? Surely Jimmy Greaves holds the record still for the same completion ?
Everyone recognises Liverpool have only one premier league title for the same reason, it’s not that deep
The style and rules are very different...and..so is the sponsorship..the premium is not the old league...bit like a jaguar....same badge different owners different car.
