I think the pressure on big clubs to reap immediate results is immense in the modern age, and the manager either doesn't fancy academy players (because he'd rather buy external proven talent) OR he isn't afforded the time to bed in those players into his system.

Ishmael and Micah are the name of my twins during their childhood..Micah Richards and Ishmael Miller were their nameskes who id tell them to look out for Ishmael Miller when they attended WBA school holiday program. Its crazy they were friends off the pitch. Great stuff

I hated being late for games. I used to arrive at Highbury and get my place at 1:10 for a 3 pm ko sometimes and get my place in the middle of the terraced north bank:) we were poor in the early 80s but it was about that. It was my team and the build up just meeting mates was great

It's a tricky one with gambling: should gambling companies not be allowed to advertise just because a small percentage of people can't have a flutter without it becoming a major problem? Could say the same for alcohol or fast food companies too. On a lighter note, this was one of the best episodes yet.
