This interview with Boman was full of humor and nostalgia. He is a man of substance, deep thought process and knows exactly what to reply for what he is asked which mostly don't.

I live in Colaba and have been visiting K Rustom for many years now. Sometime back, I heard that they lost a case with Brabourne and will have to shut down. I sincerely hope the litigants come up with an alternative and the places continues to amaze sandwich icecream lovers like myself!

Your father in law s shop was at Bhandup West he yous come to meet my husband at Ghatkoper Station. I remember he coming to our college fest in TISS way back in 2008. He has been a charming gentleman and he walked us through when he was working in his wafers shop. He said he was so proud the way he used to pack wafers without them breaking seamlessly :) Such a grounded and fum loving man. Kudos

To come to taj after 40 or so years and to retell his story about his mom exactly a year after her passing was very special, I am sure for him too. It was also such a touching story.
Best moment of this episode was when Boman sir told about her mom watching n getting surprised in his working posture, blessing words from her really remind me of my mom.....i lost mine too early to even get this kind of gesture 😭

BOMAN IRANI ONCE USED TO STAY AT BELLASIS ROAD BEHIND MAHARASHTRA COLLEGE WHERE I STUDIED...WE SAW HIM SO MANY TIMES THERE.
Rendezvous ..yes we celebrated new years eve here with a lovely dinner and I tasted crab for the first time ..this was 1973/74 and I was all of 13 yrs old then and didnt know how to eat my crab... was trying hard to cut it and my father watched me closely and laughed asking me what was I trying to do..so many memories😂 ....there was the live band and dance floor ...

KJ's laughter is such a bliss and Boman sir is such a gem of a person. Remember him walking on the streets of Dadar in monsoon stuck in rain but still so cool about it. He rightly said, that he hardly gets annoyed.

Boman Sir played the role of Mama's boy in a movie some time back, nice to know he is Mama's boy in real life too. All those who have struggled in life are mostly down to earth people. The trip to K. Rustom reminded me of the college days way back in the 80's, it used to be the favourite hangout of all the students of the nearby schools and colleges.
