  • Floris has been in existence as a perfumier and grooming accoutrements store since 1730. For almost 300-years the business has remained in family ownership and has produced the finest fragrances and grooming products from its flagship shop situated at No 89 Jermyn Street in the St James area of London.
The No 89 fragrance, named after the store of its inception, has been part of the Floris range since 1951 and has been a favourite of many customers, including Ian Fleming, the creator of the world famous Agent 007 James Bond.
In this video review, we discuss the heritage of the Floris brand and review the Floris No 89 scent to consider its relevance in the fragrance collection of the elegant chap.

Just received a sample. Fell in love with it, again.... I know, without a doubt, someone from my past wore this,....grandfather possibly? It was like going back home. An immediate connection in many ways. A gentleman 's scent, for sure. Traditional. Classic! Stand out from the crowd with No 89, and make someone's day (even if it's your own).

An enjoyable and educational interlude, nicely presented and well thought out.
The scale guides were relevant and you managed to give insight into its aroma very well. The inclusion of the other products saved it from becoming a bouquet throwing advert with a touch of negativity. And yes I have subscribed.

Hi Ash! Congrats on the 20k, I bought a small glass of Floris 89 to test out for myself and I used it at work today for the first time. Thank you so much, it smelled great throughout the day and I have another scent to add to the collection. Being an American, I am sure it is more rare of a fragrance here too, which is an extra bonus.

I just ordered some of this after owning their No. 007 cologne (i wont lie 300 dollars is a lot for a bottle of cologne so i opted this go around for the original 89). I will say ive found with the No. 007 that it lasts way longer in the colder months than in the summer despite having similar citrus notes. I live in Vegas and during the summer im lucky if the scent lasts 3 hours. However i wore some this week as our temperatures have dropped to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit and you can still smell the floris 007 on a shirt I wore 3 days prior. Im hoping the No. 89 is as well rounded for warmer months as you say because my one complaint with the 300 dollar 007 version was its lack of longevity during the summer months.
