Fable Anniversary - How to get Unlimited Gold

- I made a video a while back showing people how to mod Exp and Gold on the Xbox. This video will show you a way to get unlimited gold without the use of external programs and with good old fashion in game mechanics that will work in Fable, Fable TLC and Fable Anniversary.
All you really need is your Guile Skill at 3/4 and have enough money to buy and sell back certain items. If you just started your game I suggest buying and selling health potions to the bowerstone south merchant. When you have more gold I recommend moving on to Oakvale and doing it with Emeralds.

It was good to finally see a video with low starting gold.
I personally go through Greatwood, to and through closed entrance of Orchard Farm, first thing. Kill wasps and other enemies, collecting any gold left behind. Go through the closed entrance of Orchard Farm. Ready your weapon, and go back through Greatwood. Don't Guild Seal teleport. Make your way back to Lookout Point.
Do this as many times you want. You'll get gold and experience. Just make sure you have - a minimum of- 275 gold and make your way to Bowerstone South, during daytime. Go to the first market on the right and buy as many apples he has. Do this a few times. Then check prices of other items he has. Usually, this early in the game, he has half priced(or better) meat, and apple pies. Also, perfume as low as 36 gold, normally well over 100 gold sell back price! Buy ALL of each of these once you have enough from selling apples at first. NEVER buy 'a few', buy ALL of one item, you get a MAX return. It is slow at first, but You NEVER have to sleep/wait days. Raise your Guile to 2 (or more- you should have enough experience from the Greatwood activity)and go to Oakvale when you can. At this point, i had enough gold to purchase Master weapons. Only do this for the sell back, don't keep any 'better than steel' weapons. (The game seems to know, and makes enemies stronger.)
Now here's where your gold will start piling up quick. Purchase weapons here with a return ranging 50 to 300 gold, AND purchase gifts, and produce in the "green". I've done this on my last 3 play throughs, ( i just HAD to test the theory) making a PROFIT on each separate, "buy/sell" transaction averaging ->-> 29,464 GOLD and more!!!! This adds up really quick without waiting/sleeping. I kept trading until i was bored and had over 4,500,000 (4.5 million) Gold !! Remember, it's not a cheat, it's an exploit for profit.

Okay so I did this with the Dark will user set and am fairly evil at this point but it didn't work. So I tried to swap sets and see if being less scary helped sadly I was still losing gold. I followed this every step but it doesn't work for me any reason why? (6 Guile)
I'm having the same issue it's forcing me to buy full price and my guile is maxed
@@hybudd7043 This exploit doesnt seem to work on the base game or the GoTY edition not sure if that's your issue but after trying it on all 3 thats the only thing I could come up with

For some reason this isn't working for me. I bought a bunch of emeralds, and when I tried selling them back, it said I was going to make a loss of over 200. I slept a few days to see if that'd make a difference, and now the loss has gone up to over 400. My character is evil, and my guile is 3, if that makes a difference.
So how exactly do you fix it when your game forces you to buy full price even though it says 1 (4) on the apple pricing?? Max guile btw
The 1 is what you’re paying for, the (4) is the default price, I think?

See i would invest in guile but last time i did i accidentally stole items from a shopkeeper who was further behind the table and i got devil points, im not going into guile anymore and i'll just buy and sell the emeralds instead.....

I just bought the Anniversary from steam and I think the game is broken.
Once, this unlimited money is not working, my Guile is at level 6 and I can buy a health potion from the same guy for 197g and sell it for 100 :D
And an other one: Resurrection phial is just not exist! I haven't found any till now, not a single one and I already finished the prison :D
Any explanation?
You are probably playing on a harder difficulty if you choose the easier difficulty there will be resurrection potions

Just got my xbone a few days ago, worked for me at 3/5 guile. Health potions anyway. Gonna see if it works of emeralds soon. Did it work for your 5 guile?

@@thedreamer6930 yes sir it did just buy a few and sell a few potions then hit to oakfiels and buy the emeralds. Then buy the house in oakfield then buy sleep sell buy sleep sell :)

Shouldn’t have an effect. You playing on console? If your playing on PC this won’t work with heroic.

Update: The shop keep needs to have max emeralds for this to work. The lower the emeralds he has on hand the more he charges for them. Example, he had 17 emeralds on hand and was selling them for 575 gold with level 4 guile when I sell back I was losing 12 gold per emerald or something like that. Then when his stock is full (44) I bought them all for around 300 gold a piece. Now I’m making 175 profit
The alignment doesn’t seem to matter.
He can technically have more then that. It’s just a matter of keeping an eye on the prices. Also if your on PC don’t try this on heroic
