I always found biggest and quickest profits from selling and buying emeralds in Oakvale. Just make sure you get emeralds from traveling traders first. 😉
there was also a glitch with that temple in the woods where if you donated all your money and then quickly pressed both buttons to confirm and cancel, it would donate but you'd keep the money and it doubled or something .. way back in the day on xbox i managed to do it a few times.

When I played this way back in the day, my buddy came over and was like: "hey, I can get you a ton of money in this and he sold all my stuff and it didn't work so, I put the game down and never touched it again. Today though, I decided I wanted to play through the Fable games. I just finished Halo Combat Evolved for the first time (which I didn't like) and I have the digital version on Xbox 360 which is buggy as crap. It crashes at the most random points and all your progress is gone because it doesn't autosave as much so, but I'm finally playing through the Fable Series. I was psyched for this when I first heard about it and bought it as soon as I could after release, and had to wait to finally play it
The soft-lock that happens is due to selling near or over 1000 items to a vendor. I don't think Lionhead thought anyone would abuse the games Guile system and make so much money. My PC is fairly decent for this day and age (runs Fable TLC at 120 FPS and Fable Anniversary at 60, both saved to an SSD cause I love them so much) and this still happens to me.

You can do this with a trader in darkwood for beer kegs

I did this at first it was going well but now his stock max started dropping quickly now he only gets like 40 apple pie every 3 days
