Fable Anniversary - How to get The Harbinger!

- In this video I will show you how to get the sword out of the stone on your first (second) try. The way I do it is by not upgrading my Physique, health, or Toughness at all until after I try to pull the sword out of the stone for the first time, Once you try go back to the guild with 42,150 EXP and upgrade your Physique to level 5, Health to level 2, and Toughness to level 3 then head back and pull The Harbinger from the stone.
If you upgrade your Strength skills at all before trying for the first time you just need to upgrade Physique 5 times, Health 2 times, and Toughness 3 times. (for example if you are level 2 in all 3 you'll need to max out Physique, health will be level 4, and Toughness will be level 5)
And if you just don't care, maxing all 3 will let you pull it out right away with no fuss.

I have physique 5, health 6, toughness max but still couldn't take it. Edit: I maxed physique and health then I succeeded.
It all depends on what you had when you first tried to pull the sword. You’ll only need to increase each a set amount of times but if you had let’s say 3 on each when you started you may have to max them.

I'm sorry, but the information is wrong. I've tried it once and the game wouldn't let me get the sword. Its very picky about whether or not your worthy of pulling the sword. That's my opinion.
Lazbro Brony information not wrong you must have done something wrong. My guess is that you upgraded you health, toughness, or strength before trying the sword for the first time and when you went to upgrade again after your first try you only upgraded to the values I did leaving you a little off
@@xOneManLegacy this just worked from me. What people need to understand is to try first, teleport back, increase BY 5, 2, 3...not increase TO them. Got it first try

TipoftheSpear27 no if you max your stats you’ll get be able to grab it regardless. No need to make a new game. I just made a new game to show the least amount you have to do to get it

Your Mum again, when you get to the stone. The first time you touch the sword it takes save of your stats. Let’s say you 2 Physique 2 Health and 2 Toughness when you first touch the stone. You’ll have to upgrade your Physique 5 times (2->7), health 2 times (2 ->4) and toughness 3 times (2->5). Now if you go you’ll be able to open it. If you just upgrade your stats silly nilly and try to pull it out it won’t work because may not have upgraded things enough. If you couldn’t open it with 777 then you probably hadn’t tried to pull the sword before upgrading last. For you to be able to pull it out with 777 then you would have needed to at least had 254 as your stats (or less) the first time you tried pulling it from the stone. If not you’ll have to max out the stat that was any higher

by the time you get this shitty sword you already have beaten the game lmao for a 198 dmg output when aeon sword is like 250
You can get it pretty early on depending on how you play but I agree it’s underwhelming
@@xOneManLegacy i did get it early in past playthrough i just skipped all side quests and stuff this time around and i enjoyed it more. There are such slow and stupid quests in this game it's crazy. By the 6 hourts mark of in game hours you'll be OP with a Sophia sword that you can buy early on in bowerstone...makes no sense that i need to upgrade health and stuff so much for that sword.
@@artor1309 balancing issue that’s for sure. I think damage and health was tweaked for all seasons and enemies it could make it more worth it. Some overhaul mods I belive make it more compelling
