At 2:45 the bridge would probably work if the steel beams were in a X pattern instead. That way the steel beams at the top would be connected to the steel beams in the bottom and the structure would be a lot stronger.
When you copied the bottom part you should have flipped it vertically before pasting.

I want a reverse poly bridge game, where the bridge is already built and you have to use different resources, like bombs for example, to destroy it. It could have a budget like this game too, or a limited amount of certain tools. One of my favourite things about poly bridge is watching bridges collapse, it's weirdly satisfying so I think it would be really cool!

I'm not surprised in the slightest that the cheapest solution to the 3 car multiple hydraulic level was a combination of the two things I immediately thought he needed to do.

also there's another , slightly more dedicated engineer called "Reid_Captain" was able to engineer his way to the 1st place on one of these . . . at a cost of taking a lot more time , fiddeling and dedication of course

Surprised you didnt make it a hydraulic interchange. Use a different hydraulic per stage and have a new one connect while the previous hydraulic disconnects or falls away.

I think the triple decker could be tweaked so it was a shorter distance between at least the two top roads, so they could just have wooden trusses with no middle node, just going directly between the top and middle road.

in the hydraulic sorting level you could have had 1 bridge with a double hydraulic lifting it up, and when you want it to go to the middle only 1 hydraulic activates, when you want to go on top both activate.

When you need rope, it always needs to end in stronger joints. If you go from rope to a single stretch of wood you'll just rip the wood apart, or you could've used all wood.

You should try the game World of Goo. It’s about building structures to get goo to pipes and it’s got some engineering concepts like poly bridge.
Plus it has a cool storyline
