Fish Room Update! // Installing the New Backgrounds

- Join Chris and I today as we install the beautiful new backgrounds in my four 120 gallon goldfish aquariums. I love how nice these realistic backgrounds make the tanks look, and I need help deciding which of the two rock backgrounds to use for my favorite goldfish - my butterfly telescopes. Let me know what you think in the comments below. In the next video update about these tanks, we'll be setting them on the racks and adding water!

Solid Gold Aquatics I think you should use the black and white slate so their colors stand out more. I think they would blend in with the brown colors on the other one.
The first one :) the fish will stand out more
They are both so beautiful, but I personally prefer the first one. :)
Well the bright colours of thr goldfish will really pop from the black and white background and that would look SO GOOD
Just fill the top part of the backgrounds with black sponge pieces. Fish can't jump in, and you have more bio media! 🙂🎩

I think the first background (since it's darker) would complement the orange in the Goldfish a little more than the more natural background.
Even though the lighter one does looks more natural, I like the black and white one better because it will really make the goldfish’s colors pop. Plus it is your signature hair colors lol.. And those are your signature favorite fish.
Also, my solid gold shirt just arrived today and I love it!!! It’s so beautiful and comfortable.
Definitely the black & white slate! Having that one as a background will let their colours pop out more ✨🙏

The black stone background would be perfect. It almost has a blue hue, and blue and orange are contrasting colours, so your goldies would look absolutely stunning.

My favourite background is the black and white slate. I think it would look the most striking and really bring out the bright colours of your goldfish out.

I think black and white for the fave goldfish. But I Like The idea Of The stone on the bottom shelves And the tree stumps on the top shelves.
Hi, Jennie! The fish room is coming along so well! I suggest you put the ‘less attractive’ tree stump background on the upper shelf so maybe you won’t see it as much. I also think you should put the butterflies in the black and white slate tank :)

i think the black and white slate background will make the goldfish colours pop better and since your butterflys have such beautiful colouration and patterning i personally think the slate will look coolest!

Ecartts I said tanks as in general. Terra, aquatic, ect. Where she customizes her tanks personally for all her animals. My bad for not being clear. I know they were sent to her. The fact that she adds more to it is what impresses me.

I would put them with the black and white background on the bottom left and the other rock top right and the hidden holes tree on the bottom right and the other tree one on the top left 😊 but that's just me good luck whatever you choose I know it will look amazing!!

Hope to see yours up soon ! It really is a process to aquascape, then set up, then cycle THEN you get to pick out fish and add them lol its been 2months just starting my first pond and still no fish , just 1 plant and finally cycled a few weeks ago😂
I think the naturel background would look beautiful with the goldfish. The warm brown colours mixed with the warm orange colours of the fish.

Hey. Probably you can drill the hole in the decor in the right place and use the cut out piece in the first hole you cut with silicone, so it's back to normal...just a thought

Carp varieties in nature tend to live happier in waters where the water stands more still, than, heavier currents, that's more truits and salmon and catfish waters where rocks like blue and dark grey come out the natural way.. so to aquascape i would go with wood background and dark muddy colours :-D, the colours will come out of goldfish anyhow :-p

Put them in both rock background tanks. Then see what colors of fish work with that background. Cuz I bet the darker colored fish will look awesome on the darker colored hard rock background.
