  • You don't need to spend tons of money on expensive Kreg right angle clamps! This pocket hole hack is a great way to make sure that you get perfectly flush pocket hole joints every. Single. Time!
This Kreg Pocket Hole Jig Hack is super easy. Line up the joint, making sure the two boards are flush. Then, use an air nailer to shoot one or two pin nails into the end of the joint, holding the two boards in place. At this point, the joint is NOT very strong, but that's what pocket holes are for! Now, just use your driver to install a few pocket hole screws - no clamps needed! The pocket hole joint will stay perfectly aligned. No slipping or sliding.
For a final, professional touch, use a small amount of wood filler to hit the pin or brad nail holes on the face of the board.
