France, Germany Sign Deal To Develop “Tank Of Future” | MGCS To Succeed Leclerc, Leopard By 2040

- France and Germany announced their plans to jointly develop a next-gen battle tank equipped with artificial intelligence and laser technology. The German and French defence ministers made the announcement during a ceremony in Paris on April 26. The ministers also signed an MoU that seals a 50-50 split in the industrial production of the advanced battle tank dubbed the MGCS. The push to move ahead with the project came as Berlin and Paris were eager to show unity after a series of rows on how to support Ukraine. The agreement also designated manufacturers to be responsible for key components of the tank systems, including platforms, turrets and guns. Watch the video to find out more.

In the mid 1960's, the United States and Germany joined forces to build a Main Battle Tank to take on Russia's MBTs at the time and tank was known as the MBT-70, after some time, the project failed due to the overall cost of just building the Prototype, and I can see the same issue with Germany and France.

Timing 1:40 shows a photo of a Soviet T80 tank without a turret in a repair shop. Question: why did the author of the video put this photo with the T80 tank into the video? Didn't you find the same photos with Leclerc or Leopard?
This goes to show that 1 russian tank been destroyed in the front lines will come back in the following days and sent back to the frontlines again while in ukraine side if 1 ABRAM tank is damage no way it will be repaired it will be just left in the front lines because biden just only signs for a new tank not for a repair, because thowing it to the front lines and sending it back to the manufacturer is costly and the manufacturer will just reject it because its not expensive than to get a new tank; repairing tank is bad for their business..
