Yessssssss!!! Definitely one of my favorite scenes in the entire show.
And the way he says “lightening,” stretching it into three, (maybe even four) syllables and says it lightly and slowly to emphasize it, brilliant.
Brett Goldstein majored in feminism in film. It really shows in his writing. I love that he writes so many moments of women being supported an encouraged in this show.

I love knowing the actors got to choose what items to bring to put in the bin. It makes Isaac’s, “This is the only pen I can write my name with” bit so much better.

The panic attack scenes really hit home for me, ive suffered with them only recently in life but they are terrifying and i'm glad they made the point that they can happen in moments where you aren't stressed or panicked in the slightest. Jason played it superbly

As someone who was institutionalized from a serious panic attack, Jason's performance with his was heart-rendind. I almost had to leave the room because it was very, very real.
That scene, where Roy says, you need to be with someone stuck with lightning and those beautiful expression by keely, realizing she is with someone who make her feel like "that struck with lightening" .. is just soooo beautiful.
The whole part where that such delicate and beautiful scene was done at such moody light without loosing that delicate emotion was .. AMAZING WORK !!!

Hearing Goldstein’s real voice is shattering; ‘ musical theatre queen’ indeed.
Ok. 2 things I especially love about this: they are just talking to each other, no vapid media interviewer bs. And, having a huge bed as a backdrop.

I just started watching this show and I'm absolutely OBSESSED with it and every cast member. Roy Kent is my fave character. He's a grumpy, profane old git, but has a heart of gold.
I was soooo late to this show. Roy is my favorite, too.
It was a shocker to be able to watch such a complex, real life/drama/comedy, in such a clean story that doesn’t look corny or has a hint of outdated niceness feel, in today’s telenovela style of high pitced-voice drama that is just too much. Ted Lasoo gave me the huge hope for the so long awaited return of the decent script, that (re)introduces the magical Mr. Rogers world for all of us. This is the key to our redemption and to our better selves. ❤
I finished the other day and it truly exceeded all expectations, honestly such a phenomenal care made show that i highly recommended

after watching several interviews watching the show and getting more details about the actors i realized there is a genuine comroderry between the cast and i have not detected any hint of ego or bad apples in the cast and production staff, this resonate in the quality of the show.

watching them 2 talk about each other is great. He's such a fanboy of theater and such and when they first met on the set she talked about when he was in her face like a little kid going "i've seen you in this, i've seen you in that" lol makes me laugh every time.

I got an iPad from school and I immediately signed up for Apple TV 3 months try out and I kid you not. Within 3 days or so I finished two seasons of Ted Lasso and three more days I finished The Morning Show.
Now that I’m back at school, I chew my friends ears off with Ted Lasso and how they all need Apple TV to watch it 😂

The panic attack scene was a bit much for me. Probably because I suffer from them…amazingly spot on! He nailed what the onset feels like 👍🏻. Not fun.
Absolutely. Either he has had them himself, or he talked to someone who has and listened REALLY well.
I knew he had a higher pitched voice than his character because his character always sounds like he's trying to sound tough.
Ted Lasso needs to keep going and going as long as possible. I don't want Ted going back to the US for his family, something else needs to happen. Maybe they need to come to the UK.
I assumed Roy's character was mouthing the words because he'd heard the song a million times when he was with his niece.

Hate to call out Queen Hannah, but she's wrong. When Roy sings the lyrics to the song, the camera shifts focus from the foreground to the background. That's an intentional director choice. It's not Brett G singing along, it's Roy Kent showing his vulnerable side.
