If Ralph Fiennes decides to stop playing M in the Bond franchise, I do genuinely believe that the effervescent and outstanding Hannah Waddingham would be an absolutely formidable replacement that would keep Bond in check … sometimes. Brett Goldstein is a goldmine of acting and writing talent and the industry need to embrace him.
FUCK. YES.
Well she’s got a role as a U.S. Navy ship captain in Mission Impossible 8 with Tom Cruise but yeah she’d be an incredible M
@@theplourdeI didn’t know about this but I’m excited to see it.
Likewise Ralph should guest-star as a Harry Waters-esque Millwall boss or something
With Brett as James Bond.
My dad agreed to getting a robot vacuum as long as we could name it "Roy Kent"...because it would be here, there, every fing where" 😁
that is just fantastic lol
Hahaha love it!
THREE Ali Plumb interviews in less than 24 hours?! You're spoiling us, what a treat.
Yeah I don't even watch this show and yet I'm watching the interview
👍
'Because, Helen, some people are just arseholes'. Yep. Classic.
The Sesame Street skit is one of the most DELIGHTFUL things I've seen in a while. You wouldn't think a kids show would have that many in-jokes in a single scene, but there's a new one every time you blink, and it's brilliant. (Brett and Oscar growling at one another was a particular fave.)
I love Ted Lasso the show, just for what it is. But I love it even more for giving us these two glorious human beings who I had never heard of before, Hannah and Brett are so good in these roles and just so talented and seem so lovely.
Shame, Shame, Shame, that you did not know Hannah ;)
The world was ready for this show - it is the perfect mix of humour, heart and triumph - just love it!!!✨⭐️🙏😊💜❤️
"I love you, but you're not Elmo" 😂😂
I'm American but I've lived in the UK for about 15 years. I love watching ted lasso with my american parents just to explain all the britishisms to them. In Episode 1 I had to explain the concept of Christmas adverts and John Lewis.
Hilarious and heartfelt sums up the show in 2 words
One of the best shows on Tv...heartwarming and funny..hope it never ends!!!
The positive voice in my head, the one that tells me to believe in myself, is slowly turning into Hannah Waddingham’s voice
you can really tell just how much hannah loves the show it’s so nice ahh she’s just like us fr
I want Brett Goldstein to write and produce a Muppet movie.
Actually Oscar was in the rubbish bin; Brett was in an actual garbage can.
Yep Brett/Roy Kent is a British Oscar the grouch
I love these two. Both probably my favorites in the show. A bit wierd hearing Brett's voice and not Roy's. And good lord, Rebecca/Hannah is stunning!
Ive just gotta say that Ali Plumb is one of my favourite interviewers. He is fun, funny and relatable
Thanks for the excellent interviews!
I just ❤/so enjoy your interview posts🎯(sorry, I cannot find your name listed here or on the channel's page and YOU'RE the reason I'm subscribed!) Such a great combo of qualities you bring to each one. Playful, knowledgeable, respectfully curious & serious-as-called-for, down2earth, enthusiastic about your job/guests. Makes me smile. Guests seem pleasantly surprised & appreciative of your style in the midst of the grind of PR chore-jaunts.
I love the brittish use of the word “fit”
Someone really hot is "fit as a butcher's dog ".
British* (capital B, single t)
HOW can I love Hannah and Brett SO DAMN MUCH!??!?
😭😍
Ooo my partner created the original Roy Kent ven diagram and NOW BRETT GOLDSTEIN HAS SEEN IT!!
This is my absolute favorite show! Roy Kent is my favorite. ❤
Love the show Ted Lasso. I once had an argument with my British friends over baking biscuits for the children's breakfast. No, I wasn't baking cookies for the kids to eat in the morning. Great interview made me laugh!
Didnt think I could love big Wad more then she did Glasweigan perfectly ❤
I adore this man. I want to be Roy Kent when I grow up.
One of my favorite things this season is, he doesn’t use a whistle on the field, he just yells, WHISTLE! Too funny🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ali plumb gets the best out of all his interviews!
I've adopted the word 'FIT' for my assessment of peoples that I see in my daily life since I saw this episode. it's become a standard candle for me of what is FIT and what is not. it's a personal thing
but are these fit folks "mad fit"??
Yes the funeral scene was brilliant ❤
I've been debating getting on the Ted Lasso bandwagon, This is the final straw, I'm fully onto the train now
Best show I have ever seen
Proper proper 🎉
Ali Plumb: the Capybara of celebrity interviewers.
Ali Plumb is the Peter Drury of interviewers.
Brett Goldstein as a guest captain on any future Star Trek episode would be gold - Roy Kent style or not.
Sweet interview, as always! By the way, Nike is pronounced Nik-EE @7:34
Not in this country
Hanna doing a Scottish accent 🥰
Damn Helen must be a happy person rn 😂
Highlight was the photo on Sesame Street for sure! You can rest forever on that. ;)
So we're all just ignoring the fact that there is a pink box of Ted Lasso's shortbread cookies behind her?
Seeing Brett with a huge smile is a little disconcerting. He's got a beautiful smile, but somehow it seems wrong🤣
I love Hannah! Easy to fall in love with.
ELMO!!!! That's F'ing Oscar the Grouch!
I saw capybaras on Okinawa at a botanical garden. I thought the parent BIT me, as I felt something on my leg, and I lightly screamed. It was its whiskers. 🤭
Hannah Waddingham says she can't do a Scottish accent but it actually sounds about right.
yaaaaaas
OMG - her amazing "Triangle of Sadness"!
Hey, "Fuck Off!" is Logan Roy's catchphrase from Succession.
I love Hannah! Do you think she’d be my bestie🥰
I wonder how much Americans lose because the show is set in Britain? My favorite author is British and there are so many things I miss because I'm American.
Yes ppl can be sad enough said
She’s a babe
Can confirm I have a Roy Kent Venn diagram t-shirt
Am I the only person that sees his character in Ted Lasso as a bad lip synced Pixar bad guy/ AI character? lol Now I've seen it, I cant un-see it....
Akhand Bharat- czcams.com/video/GfJzBm6sQpo/video.html
Wait…do English people pronounce Nike like they would pronounce “bike”??
I think people do that everywhere in the world not just in UK, it's the same here in Greece & that was always the case since I was a kid & that never chanced to this day.
“We apologize for the fruity language”
Ralph Fiennes is way too dour of a character and devoid of the essential humor that made Desmond Llewellyn through Judi Dench wonderful M characters.
Ralph Fiennes*, Judy Dench*
@@einundsiebenziger5488 *Dame Judi Dench
Well maybe Brett should of replaced Gary Linnecker then
Fuck yeah!
... should have* (!) replaced ... How can one not understand that "should of" makes no sense and is idiotic to be put into writing?!
Emm, no sound eh?
Misuse of "surreal" gets on my nerves.
I have loved this series until recently. This has evolved into a more gay love series than the original theme, content intended for its audiences. The last few episodes have been sadly disappointing.
I am so sorry that you have a heart of stone. And as Hannah would say "off you pop!"
that all was adorable.
