About 'Ted Lasso': Ted Lasso is the story of a Kansas football coach who gets tapped to coach a pro English soccer team - despite the fact he knows very little about the game.
The original comedy series was created by star Jason Sudekis and Scrubs exec, Bill Lawrence. Based on a pre-existing format and characters from NBC Sports that went viral on the internet, the series was developed by Sudekis, Lawrence, Joe Kelly and Brendan Hunt.
In addition to Sudekis and Hunt, the Warner Bros. co-production also stars Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, Phil Dunster, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed, and Juno Temple.

Can we just talk about the genuine female love and support that these women exude! I ABSOLUTELY love them SO MUCH purely just for the amount of actual comradery and bolstering of each other that they do. It's so effortless in the show, and I know we all grow to hope that the relationships we see on screen are as real in life, but you really get to see it with these women, and its as refreshing as an episode of Ted Lasso, but even better because there is so much unfiltered joy. In the words of Keeley "My god you're amazing, let's invade France."
I loved that in the show, that you have these strong, smart, beautiful, who develop this beautiful friendship - too often in shows, they pit women against each other.
That scene in the pub with Ted playing darts with Rupert was one of my favorite scenes in the entire series. The monologue that Ted delivers to Rupert was brilliant.
Can I just say these women are freakin’ badass, gorgeous, and simply phenomenal. I discovered Ted Lasso about two weeks ago and watched the Pilot. I was hooked. I binged Season 1 immediately and wanted to meet all of the actors. I have never wanted to meet any actors.
I feel the same way-I’m googling interviews and podcasts with all of these people and every actor on the show is interesting

I’ve never done this before but my wife and I have watched season one several times. The writing and performances of every actor - simply remarkable. Like “Mash”, the last series that approached this level of quality, these performers knock it out of the park every week. You care about them. You root for them. When they hurt, you cry. When they prevail, you cheer. Where else does that happen these days?
OMG your post!! I watched this interview thinking to myself “how can I get my daughter (21) to watch this show?” Answer, tell her it’s like they got to MASH season 11 in the PILOT. (MASH is one of her favorite shows of all time, and yes, we brought her up well 😉) Mixed honestly with the base of kindness and hilarious human humor of the Dick Van Dyke Show, our other all time top favorite. Love this show so much, we laugh and cry all the way through. We’re still in S1, and I don’t want it to go too quickly, just savoring.
PS Have you seen Chris O’Dowd’s Moone Boy? That’s the one other show that had us rewatching forever.
that's the first series in a long while which made me cry, even though I watched it in a different language and a lot of moments I think were lost in translation.
There's been a dozen shows lines this over the years but most don't get the chance to find an audience
Sharon and Ted / Keeley and Rebecca....phenomenal relationships. I loved Series 2. Sarah was a pleasant surprise!!!
Love the character that Sarah brings to Ted Lasso and how she develops over Season 2. I hope we see her again.

It's amazing that a show with so much heart, cheese, positivity and charm has actually made it in this increasingly nihilistic society. Obviously the show has its sad, angry, bitter, insecure and petty elements but they are just there to give love and kindness something to conquer. Its like a modern Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke, leave it to beaver type of vibe

Just binged this series and something I've really enjoyed is some tropes that seem to be set up, aren't the point at all. When Keeley meets Sassy, I expected the set up of a conflict as they fight to be Rebecca's friend, but they just becomes friends. When Roy spends time with the teacher, I really didn't want to see the the affair story line. But they used it as a point of Roy to confess he didn't 'know why he was spending so much time, especially after when they first opened up, he said he didn't want to mess around like he had done in previous relationships. I find all this refreshing.
I love the show and I love these ladies. It was fun watching the interview.

- The lady teeths remind me some, the house seems like a brothel of Amsterdam with all the candles and her dressed like half naked (pretty axx the little lady) in with with the glassed NOBODY IS GONNA SEE WHO IS INSIDE= her is the symbol of sex hunger with all the fears connected= take the worst of her and the Melo= it works= tedius, while in the reality can be something different (is it the best of u also in real life?? who is the manson that give u the paycheck?? U mean like put out the worst of u by laughing/commedy and transform it into something good
