I think the shows too low budget to have an all star cast, I think pulling Sudeikis was the extent of their A-List pull. If someone could join though Rudd would be a nice addition.
@@lermberl sudeikis created the show so its not like Apple was like oof let try to get sudeikis for this role. he made it. , the show has been renewed for 3rd season before the 2nd even started filming, the whole thing is gonna be a lot bigger next time round.

Really surprised to hear that Phil isn’t from Manchester because that accent was really convincing, Nick and Brett’s were also pretty convincing (even if a cockney accent is pretty easy to do compared to a northern accent)

Show is a masterpiece. I remember first seeing the ted lasso nbc skit 7 years ago, thought this would be a badass movie, but then they went and made it an amazing tv show. Those first class wankers.

I love how it’s not all, fish out of Water, jokes. I was worried instead, characters have interesting story arcs and you get to know them more each episode and you can’t help rooting for them individually. And it’s just very funny.
Can't stress enough how good this show is for the soul. Always wait till Friday / Saturday midnight to get my fix. In these crazy times it feel really good to root for a character who leads with the heart.♥️ Going to watch the whole season over next Friday just to get lassoed 🤠. Happy to see so many people enjoy this show as much as I do. Till the next one. GB🙏

Thank you, to ALL the cast for such a wonderful series, loved it - it shows culture shock, shows the obsession with football/soccer, regardless of which side of the Atlantic you are LOL., expressions and what they CAN sometimes mean on the other side etc.
Definitely the best comedy series on TV today! Cannot wait for season 2!!

Good show, but my only gripe is that there are no Black main characters which is pretty unrealistic for an English soccer team. It would be like making a comedy about the nba and all the main characters are white

I’ve noticed that too, plenty of black actors to be sure but not in the main cast. Though I could very well be changing with Sam in season 2. Heres to hoping for that

It's a great series, but analysing it , it's just more of the same feminising men and encouraging women to be loose.
If you think about the 3 "strong" women, the owner is a woman trying to bring down a football team to spite her ex husband, second is a WAG slag and the third is a one night stand woman who knocks on a man's hotel door that she hardly knows. I wonder why big business is encouraging this ?
STRONG NATIONS must have strong men, if not they WILL be taken over by other cultures who do have them.
