Finally somebody that knows how to play the game. I was reading a lot of complaints about things that are already in the game people just didn't know how to access it. When I give them my feedback first thing I'm gonna recommend is that they implement a tutorial.

You can farm raikiri(fastest armor in the demo)in the 2nd mission.
If you equip 2 swords and press both attack buttons at the same time,you will do a cross slash.
free up your missle,grenade and pylon slots to be even faster.
Grim Reaper AT assault rifle fires by itself if your in range,dual wield them to have an easier time.
You just saved this game for me dude. Back on my day one list. I’m a huge fan of armored core master of arena back on ps1 so I hope they add a mode like that in it as well. A coliseum type mode were you battle 1 on 1 with other mechs for there loot. Not a pvp mode.
I actually love this game.
Will they have PvP and pve? If they add that then Machina can be a unit seller. If all I get to do is shoot at computers then it'll be a waste of money
Different Same PvE is confirmed, not sure about PvP but they said that it will have it, but that could have changed.

You can aquire the Raikiri Arsenal parts in the 2nd mission.... These are the fastest parts you can equip

Dual tricksters can kill the boss in mission 4 in about a minute if you sustain the correct distance because they have critical damage that can hit 45-95 damage per bullet at a certain distance.
Edit: It just bullet drop off i was making it sound overly complex.

Nice video PE Ninja Master. Great tips n tricks OJ. This game is gonna so cool and a ton of upgrades n depth about the game so far which is good stuff.
you can get all of the possible body modifications in the demo. in the actual game trailer it show so much more body modification options. also on their website there are images showing full body modifications, like the only human part left is your head
I found out that by using both the Raikiri mech arms, the melee strength modification, and a cross-slash from two swords, that you can about 210 damage to an enemy mech if you position yourself well enough. Still, having to invest so much in armour and upgrades to get the most out of sword damage is a problem. Without those upgrades you’re better off just sticking to the Trickster handguns and Bazooka.

Personally, I find it sad that people didnt figure this out on their own lol. You customize your suit in order to suit your play style..... just like any other game that has character customization. Have people never played games like this?
Im having a ton of fun with the demo. The customization is awesome.

Check out the tree house video with Daemon X Machina from E3 2018. The version that they used back then was a newer version of the game with more features. The head dev also talks about all the symbolism associated with the game. Also, you see an entry for a "shop". Does this mean buying/selling, maybe even crafting new parts? I don't know, but it's very interesting. I can't wait for DXM to get released this summer!
This game has a lot of potential. Love how you can tweak and upgrade your mech
If you find the game slow, there is a body piece with very high aerial boost (around 13,000) that will satisfy your needs.

Thanks for making this video. There seems to be a lot they don't tell you. It still looks a little slow for me though, but it's certainly an improvement.
People have gotten use to speedy action games..even mech games of late have taken the high speed route which is fine, but AC which this is heavy based on given the producer for both is the same guy, it takes a slightly slower take on mech..not super slow and clunky like Mechwarrior but not lighting fast Gundam either...sort of a middle of the road..you can get faster but your gonna start out slower than most people are used to. Add in mid to late game parts in the full game plus all the Outer upgrades which will effect the Arsenal and yeah..you will be MUCH faster but starting out? It's gonna be a little slower..also I'm rather fine with the controls..especially the decent button placement, in more advanced missions in the full game you're gonna wanna be able to go up or down in altitude quick while not having to sacrifice control of your Arsenal so getting used to having it on a control stick is better imo than moving it to a dedicated button.
People like you who are passionate about games like this give me hope.
@@Zhinoi TBH I'd really like to see a modern rerelease of the Xbox mech game that was 200+ bucks and came with the controls, Steel Battalion. But I'd want the controller to be multiplatform instead of JUST for the Xbox..it was a pretty neat idea, we have flight-sim games in America at some arcades or just games that use a flight control stick for fun but in Japan they have a full Gundam cockpit game where you can really feel like you pilot a Gundam and you get a card for it so you can save your favorite MS setup. If you look on CZcams you can find a guy who actually made a real life Zoids cockpit controller as seen in the anime..if we got a good producer like this to dedicate the time to a multiplatform mech series using a better game as a base for the controller it would be awesome for mech game fans..I remember the controller for Steel Battalion kept getting bought and returned time and again at my local Gamestop because it was so hard to play given that if you lost at any point you had to start all over again..a real 'Iron man' game without the ability to turn off "Iron man' setting..it got a second game IIRC but no other games ever came out that used that controller setup which is a real shame as a mech fan..the closet we got to the Gundam game I mentioned that I can remember was Virtual On..now that was cool and only people who were really interested in getting good were any good at that since the controls were two control sticks so you had to learn how to move correctly and at the right times...nothing was better for Virtual On than slogging against the AI only for another good player to sit in the other cockpit and challenge you, it could get pretty tense.

OJ I’m loving the game too, here’s something I think makes the motion more fluid. Change the boost button from Y to pushing in the right stick, that way you don’t take your fingers off the socks and it feels more fluid
Real talk, try mimicking AC4A's control setup:
L and R fire weapons
ZL for jump/ascend
ZR for boost/dash
for ultimate aerial control, get the down booster, and set your auxiliary to left stick(set descend to B.

Thanks a ton dude. I dropped the game after just around 30 minutes of playing because it felt slow. I completely forgot that it was early game and that's what I should've expected.
1.18 Death Rider Boss with full ZAP armor, Dual Pistols and 10%boost efficiency.
The one thing I can't figure out is scanning the graffiti for decals, unless you cant actually scan them in the demo.

Just found all 4 decals and dual trickstar pistols shreds Death Rider boss in under 2 minutes. (1.28 sec my best time)
I still wish the game had a bigger variety of melee options, i don't want to just have a slow sword, i wish you could do crazy combos with it.
That was part of the feedback I left as well, we really need at least a 3-hit combo on melee weapons and I hope that makes it in later. They can still keep melee strikes having a long recovery as a risk vs reward thing since these are mechs and not Dante but we need some combos.

I played the demo more than I should, By the was Oj are will file saves be transferable?
They probably will be. Every demo I played lately that had a demo that allowed saves had something tranfer over. If not progress then at least items and money earned.
I'm pretty sure they will...though depending on how long it takes to get the final product out people who play the demo a lot are gonna have a HUGE advantage of funds versus those who don't play it much or never play it..and take it from an old AC vet..some of those mid to late game parts can get pretty expensive..and that's for the mech alone, now there is your Outer to take into account and you see how expensive lab upgrades are for that.
I highly doubt it. I think the beginning of the actual game is gonna be totally different from the demo.
They've actually shown the real first mission at one of the game shows (not in the demo). You infiltrate and steal the starting Arsenal during a stormy night. The lightning effect was pretty cool.
@@HattoriHanzo666 Even if the start is completely different doesn't mean we can transfer over items and money we've earned in the demo, there have been other games where you play a mission that is not even IN the actual game but you can still transfer over funds and items.
Do I have to defeat Sif and Reaper at about the same time to scavenge loot from Reaper’s Mech? If I defeat Sif, Reaper runs away. But if I defeat Reaper, he runs away and I don’t get any loot from either of them.
Sorry for a very late reply, but Reaper is supposed to be unkillable in that mission.... Except somebody found a way to drown Reaper near a very narrow bank using traps and dual bazookas.
If you're looking at the bridge from the center of town, the narrow bank is on the closest shoreline, to the left of the bridge. The bank only has enough room to stand on.
Is that part of your suit or does your character actually have robotic arms? O.O
I got that Bazooka but had to start replaying missions because the final boss was destroying my arsenal

Needs motion controls. Hopefully they add a simulation room. Esp when you change your mech to see the results of the changes the player made.
