- While I can't cover every single detail in an easy to digest format right now, hopefully we can alleviate some of the steep learning curve that may serve as a barrier to entry.
- Hry
genuinely upset that you didn't make more videos. you are like one of two people that covered this amazing game and your guides are far more in depth and thought out then the majority of the others. hope you make the time to contuine your coverage of this niche game
A week after release, as I was finishing up my official review of the game, I made a significant career change. It was a MASSIVE step up for me and so my focus has been shifted for a while. As I'm settling in, I will return shortly. I will most likely finish my review with some of the updated content included, and maybe make a few more videos for the game before I move on to others.
be great if i could hear the fucker, I dunno how audio works when ppl upload to youtube but some of yall have such low volume I gotta set it on max so that when im done watching the video I can forget and have the ad pop up and blow out my windows.
@@vigilxmachina5836hmm this aged well
Thank you so much bro. Years after making this video you are still helping people. 👍🙏
Love this game hopefully I'll stream some gameplay 😅
Been playing this game for 4 months now and I've still managed to learn things I didn't know from this video. Really great guide, hope to see more DXM content from ya
I absolutely love videos that go deep into the mechanics of my favorite games. I gotta say, i love how concise your explanations are, and you're easy to listen to. Though i think the volume level is a bit low compared to other videos.
There's no other videos for Daemon X Machina out there like this that i can find, so i hope that you'll keep making videos like this as you learn more. I also hope your sub count balloons so more people see this great info.
You got me even more hyped up than i already was. For too long the lack of mech games out there have left an Armored Core-shaped hole in my heart... lol.
Great video!
Thanks for watching! I'm still pretty new to making these videos and I'm naturally a pretty quiet guy, so I need to work on projecting my voice more. Feedback is always appreciated.
@@vigilxmachina5836 I've done a few videos in the past (not on this acct). Depending on what software you're using (and if you are recording your voice and the game on separate channels), you should be able to adjust your levels so that you'll be plenty audible without having to speak up.
It's not a huge deal though. Didn't have to max out my speakers or anything like that, lol. Keep up the good work, man!
"Mech feels like a tractor"
Bruh, you must have never played original Armored Core
Those games need to make a comeback.
No, they likely have not. Switch players want hand holding . This game should of been a PC release first.
Great video man. Well spoken. Holds up 2 years later. Hope you make more videos :)
I love youtubers who don't just focus on popular games.
Keep it up!
You have my subscription, I'd love to see some more Daemon X Machina content from you Mr.
Hey man, I hope you see all the other comments here years later, this vid has helped me and others who started the game later :) Thanks bro
Learned so much dude great video, getting me ready for that PVP!!
Thank you for this guide! Really good to see guides that allow people to learn things better :)
Glad I could help! :)
Your video was so great! Everything you showed on screen was relevant to your talking point at that moment, and it was very informative :)
Thanks!
Holy moly I didn't know about the landing boost cancel this vid deserves more likes
I just got back around to this game after a few month's absence, and despite clocking in several hours in the game, I learned so much about the game from you!
Next time I'm going to experiment with HUD and control adjustments, see if I can find a nice setup that makes using Femto Arms much easier. Thank you so much for the video!
Nicely done friend. Saw your reddit post and followed your link. This is exactly what I needed. Thank you.
Happy to help! This game is so cool. Thanks for watching!
Nice tips, about to play through this game. I finally bought it. I had played the demo quite a few months back and forgot most of everything but I really wanted to transfer over my character and arsenal so I kinda needed this. Thanks! 👀
Some very useful tips, thank you, sir!
Subscribed! Looking forward to more Daemon X Machina videos in the future
Discovered this through your reddit post. Great video! This game deserves more attention and press
Awesome job dude, super concise!
Very nice, in-depth video! Had no idea you could get out of the mech, now I'm even more excited for the full game.
Thanks for the feedback! I've been super excited for a while now. I've been craving a good customizable mech game.
Thank you so much for making this video. I love this game. I've been waiting for a game like this since Armored Core. I feel like this game gets way too much hate that it don't deserve. Love the video would love to see more on this game
Great vid I would love more content!!
great systems breakdown, proper job
Sucks that youre not doing vids anymore, that one is a nice guide! Thanks.
Awesome beginner's guide, subscribed. Hope you still come out with the hidden combat tricks video with how to do the spins and stuff :)
Bro. Superb guide. It will same me a lot of time.
I’ve read the reviews, and still bought the game because it looked like something I wanted to play. I love mech games, and I wanted this game because I’ve always wanted to play the Armored Core series, but never had a chance. I gotta say, the game has a learning curve, but is definitely fun to at least try out-that Testing Ground you can play anytime and simply goof off around for HOURS alone with just the basic weapons you have. Honestly is a great game, and seems a great substitute for anyone who wants an Armored Core fix-it’s like the Metal Gear Rising to DMC V or Bayonetta. The controls are smooth, and the movement is great. Takes a decent time to get to use, but this isn’t that hard to get into.
do you have a toaster? (laptop) C;
Imma try that Femto Dash! Also, I did give my outer an extra hit point and some sort of trash can legs that raise knockdown resistance.
Dude...
In the demo i had no trouble...
But after release i soon dropped the game cuz i was just sooo bad in it xD
...
Now i finally picked it up again and thanks to you, i could instantly progess further than ever before!
I wish there would be more guides like this!
Thanks a lot, you did really well!
been raw dogging it and i have been doing well so far. found this and you really did a better job with all femnto.
Thank you from France 3 years later
Very helpful. Thanks a lot
Quality information dude
Very helpful, thank you
Ty for the tips . This game is awesome
This is a pretty good guide
This game is amazingly fun and the versatility is 2nd to none. Great vid and explanations👌
Nice guide
By far the biggest hurdle for me is finding a good custom control scheme thats fully functional and comfortable.
It doesn't feel like the switch has enough buttons for this game lol. 😅
Thanks for the video :) I was wondering how do you repair your arsenal with your outer ? Is it a skill you have to learn?
Great vid. I can hear it fine :) was a big help regarding femto.
That's what I was going for. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
Ok the damage color thing was a great tip
Lol wow that’s crazy about the tractor. I love this game!
Great vid man. You’re right, bad faith reviews couldn’t understand/appreciate the great game that it is for a niche set of people. Outside that niche it is still fun and can be enjoyed.
If you buy enough ice cream you unlock the secret factory where you develop colossal weapons
How much
About 20 ice creams and advancing to rank c seems to be what triggers it
Without context, that would be confusing as hell.
Is there any way you can customize the part of the hud that shows distance from an enemy? I always have a lotta trouble keeping track of optimal range.
how do you use the extra ammo clip that replaces the Aux? ,I have it on, I just can't use it for some reason
Also if you eat 20 ice creams you'll unlock the secret factory that's used for crafting boss parts from multiplayer
Thanks don't got the game yet but know how to play it...I'll be getting it soon
monster hunterer mecha edition
How do you set the multi-button press? It wont let me for some reason
So how do I loot a Stahl? Whenever I destroy one it'll let me look at them but doesn't let me grab it
Is it possible to center the camera in the customization settings? This might seem like a shallow reason, but that makes or breaks the game for me since I'm coming from Armored Core, pre V.
You mentioned weapon variants. It's usually letters.
What do they mean? Is it just different Stat sets?
i am late for the party but i am having a lot of fun in this game.
Thx!
Wish this game implamented motion controls like Splatoon2. Make use of the buttons more
How do you repair your Arsenal if it's out of commission?
I may also point out 2 things:
*Some of the swords have a chain attack ability -- what it does is when you press same attack button it will instantly charge to next target that is close and chain it depending on weapon. 2 chain will only do 2, while 5 chain sword will do 5. So you can quickly finish off enemys when they are close together. (please note that its kinda usless on bosses as their target weakspots are to far away)
*When you are at hangar, come to the dog. Wait a few seconds so you see the dog moving his head up. Now move and it will follow you for a short time.
Thanks! Swords with chain-able attacks weren't available in the demo, unfortunately, so I couldn't get footage of them and forgot to mention them.
If you do the play dead gesture, sometimes you can get the dog to do it with you
How about a video for figuring out dps in daemon x?
How do i switch my amor back to the normal armor . i have this royal armor on . Im trying to switch back.
Simply go to Edit Arsenal in the Hanger and go to "None."
Your voice reminds me of the guy who does 'daily dose of internet'
how do you confirm your outfit cause I can't
Thank you for the guide! :D Have a subscribe and a like. Hope you stick to Daemon x Machina for a bit :)
Excuse me, do you mind to tell us how to do the "skate" at 4:56 ? Thank you
Just boost along the ground.
On the contrary, that's general movement after a running start, but, boosting does get you into the "skating" movement quicker.
having berserk ptsd for most of this video
The beginning of the video. I hate when reviewers do this but I can see why especially when they rush to get reviews out.
Alot of the reviews I saw that people we're calling it slow while they had high VP/HP mechs with low speed or they out right ignore the boost/femto wings
“Gonna have soooo much amazing content soon!”
…and then he never posted again 😂
Seriously tho, this was a helpful vid. Too bad there weren’t more
is there a vs mode?
That’s coming October 10th
Hy can anyone tell me how to defend against melee enemy during sword cross ⚔️
Just spam the button that's prompted. It also helps if you have assault shift active.
Mic volume is too low. Great vid otherwise.
Thanks for watching! For some reason when I upload to youtube it makes everything quieter. Guessing some kind of volume normalization, I will try jacking it up in the next one.
I see, a fellow cross bodypart display user
Which reviewer said that their gundam is slow lmao????
One that didn't have index fingers. lol
Mic was kinda low had to crank the volume up quite a bit. Just letting ya know.
But... what about the dog?
The closest thing to a new Armored Core game and such a shame people are badmouthing it. Thanks for explaining how femto works! Planning to get the game so this helps a lot.
How r u useing a controller
I beat this game on hard on a weekend. The final boss is cheap, stealing your weapons machcanics, and the ending was so cliche. Yet the rest of the game has merits....Anyone who cannot figure out the boost machcanic needs to go play stompy robot tractors in Mechwarrior.
was really looking forward to this game when it was first announced in the direct but after playing the first demo my view completely changed. I really dislike these types of games where you select missions from a small hub and load into mission based arenas, its just like those psp/vita type games i hate so much.
If you can get over the mission structure, there's a LOT of customization and such to keep you occupied perfecting your Arsenal and Outer. Feels like the main focus is both aesthetic and combat style. Reminds me of the old THPS games in that even though you have to pick your small sandbox per se, it gives you a canvas to paint on with your style of playing.
You can do the online and you will never have to worry abauth mission if you join a hosted one.
This game gets a bad rap because of how awful the story line is, but the gameplay has some sizable depth. That being said, it's terrible at conveying it's mechanics to the player at surface level.
thank you. very helpful
Happy to help, thanks for watching!
