None of their albums can even come close to BSSM and Mothers Milk. Those are two of the most special and magical albums I have ever heard (especially BSSM). I think Frusciante was channeling something huge during this time. It gives me chills just talking about it. Nice work.
I just want to stand up and applaud this piece of art. I watch this almost everyday to inspire me to write music, also trying to learn it too, by ear and observation because it's so captivating. The bun bun bahhh bass line you create is just an awe to me i love it!!!
Hey Nick, dont know if you read this. By now you have tons of Subscribers. Dont you want make a tutorial series? I mean everything from that glichy red hot sounds that nobody really wants to explain (like 0:15, 0:38) to funk and so on. And how the heck do you get that sound? I dont think I could get the same sound out of a '97 Strat on my own ever :D. I think your skills + some really "deep from the scratch tutorials" would push your channell in a new dimension, and I dont think that iam the only one here. Think about it! Greetings to you and you family.
WaBe404 Sounds like a lot of compression and maybe some chorus. I can tab out the 0:15 part if you like. Hardest part about it is the speed. If I had to guess the guitar, I'd say '62 AVRI Hot Rod.
Super late response but oh well. Just a regular American Standard from 2007(I could be wrong on the specific year). He shows it in a gear tour video. You can also tell because you can see the truss rod adjustment in the headstock (62's had them at the base of the neck), modern tree strings (vs vintage butterfly tree strings in 62's) and the modern bridge.
Your deserve alot more views man.... love to watch you play and pick your style apart.. thanks for the video.. it's 5 am and i cant put down the geetar now.
Milton Oli Look what he does is the bass note with the thumb, and plays some notes of the pentatonic scale, i cant write the tab here but is mostly like that
Před 9 lety

Loved this song straight of the bat from the first seconds mate, Really good improvising! (guess its your song?) :D Frusciante/hendrixy strat tones 4 Lyyyfe!!
This is amazing just like all your work, and your tone is the best I've ever heard, i've tried so many different ways of getting that tone but I never even get close to that popping/raking sound, can you please give me the secret?
