Why is it “ noble” to try to glorify veganism? Human beings evolved to be omnivores.

Seriously messed up when they say they don’t want to waste their life…and yet shorten it by decades…

"Brave adventurers"... there's nothing brave about choosing to summit Everest. It's an entirely self-serving endeavour.

First I would like to say I do appreciate the work you did putting together these stories. I can ignore the obviously computer generated voice that mispronounces the names of common geologic features and famous mountains and cities. What bugs me is how all these mountaineering disaster channels state how the mountaineers conquered the mountain. I do not know a single mountaineer who would have the audacity to say something like that. They climb for a love of the mountains and they will be the first to say that the only thing they conquered are they're own fears and self perceived limitations. The mountains were here a thousand generation before the climbers were born and a thousand generations after we are all dead they will still be here. No person is conquering the mountains. To make that statement is disrespectful.

I watch many video's about climbing Everest, K2, and other very high mountains.
And every time i am baffeld that despite feeling bad, even wit altitude sickness, so many climbers are loosing their common sense and are pushing thrue, with, most during descending, death as a result!
I don't understand these people. Your HEALTH is more important than ANY mountain on this planet!!

Imagine someone climbing Everest and NOT bragging/talking about it? That would show true character.

Hey script writer - you don’t “conquer“ Mt Everest. Why show a random photo of ‘Green Boots’ ? Countless climbers die every year, each as unfortunate as the next for remaining loved ones but I fail to understand why this video got scooped by the algorithm

Every climber has a gimmick don't they? First (fill in the blank) to climb (fill in the blank). First vegen in this episode? Since her death no doubt another vegan is in the wings waiting to get attention but of course they will say the true reason was to show vegans can do it. And of course that will be rubbish. What an ego trip it is across the sea to the top of the world.

Is this written by AI? The script is all over the place and the robotic voice ain’t doing it for me.

Climbing any high risk mountain for a reason "to prove others that vegans can be strong" is not being brave, it's being stupid. What will be next? Climbing K2 because you lost a bet to your friend? Maybe a next youtube influencer with "I am gonna climb everest without preparation" for views? Oh, maybe climbing Broad Peak barefoot because someone read Goggins and Vim Hof books? Or your ex girlfriend made you angry so you climb Denali to show what an alpha male she lost? At this point I wouldn't even be surprised, Darwin awards are waiting. You know, there are multiple other challenges in mountains, with much lower death risk, that are still super challenging and people can do to prove something. Why do they chose the challenges which can bury them in an avalanche? Why do they risk that their families and friends will be left sad and crying? Even smaller mountains cause a lot of deaths in winter conditions, isn't that enough? They can run UTMB, Tor de Géants or Hardrock 100 to prove their physical capabilities and leave high mountains to people who are actually love high mountaineering, that are experienced. But as the material said - money rules the world, people want to feed their ego, they will keep going into live or die lottery for stupid reasons. I know a person who climbs in Himalaya himself, he put a lot of effort through many years to gather experience and he really loves this activity, his whole life is crafted to prepare him for those himalaya expeditions. I think this long term effort he put into gaining experience and physical endurance makes him eligible to climb high mountains. He's still at death risk when he's there, but his risk is much much lower, just because he knows what he's doing, knows how to behave in difficult/emergency situations, knows how to rescue himself and others, he knows when to go forward and when to climb back down and he's well known in mountaineering community. That's the key difference between someone who should be there, and someone who should be denied access to those places.

Would you climb Mt Everest without anyone else knowing?
No social media, no pictures, no (news) coverage?
If your honest answer is no, then you’re doing it for the wrong reasons.
