I went once and never saw a stall, it was so crowded I thought I was going to die in a crush. I'll never go again. At least you managed to see some stalls. It would be lovely if it wasn't so busy.

My son and daughter live in Lincoln, and yes the steep is exactly that lol, the market is lovely.
They need a ski lift up the hill 🤣
Nothing wrong with your cam we can see how steep that is, Hope they have a pub every 100 yards up that hill so i can go in them for a rest :)
Vee nice place to see and it is very busy and not long for Christmas day and the Christmas lights and markets are nicely lit up and hot you have your hot chocolate with cream

Not been for years, went when it was on for the 3 days, its amazing round the cathedral
if you was there on the 3rd DEC i was too but never made xmas market i went to see my grandson and his family but you showed me what i had missed sham i never got to see it theres always next year xx

Yep, thought it was Lincoln ... all those cafe / bars looked great, lovely just to sit in the window and watch the crowds 👍✔ My high street is dying, such a shame as this kind of hustle and bustle has a character all its own. Unfortunately, many more will die with the installation of the Clean Air Zones and punishing fines 😒 I think councils are shooting themselves in the foot.

Iv never been to Lincoln but this place looks awesome, If i dont have time go this year i will next year.
Coming from someone that has lived in Lincoln their whole life, it is good for the history but there really isn’t a lot to do in the day, this was filmed around Christmas market time. It is usually very quiet

Thank you Neil for a special Christmas video. I didn’t realise it’s so special at this time of year. I usually go in summer and flag quite a bit going up Steep Hill on a hot day 😅. It’s a good job you do a lot of walking if you love pizza with hot choc and marshmallows lol.

lincoln is nice any good weather day ..i have to comment on the most boring xmas lights i've seen any xmas illuminations does the council know they do COLOURED leds ? were off Leicester tomorrow to see theirs, always spectacular
Not sure if it is still the case but Steep Hill used to result in a high rate of student casualties when running down it! Great video. Busy busy busy!

I think the main reason for student hatred of Steep Hill is the arduous climb up, even as a fit Rugby player, struggling to breathe and legs aching whilst 80+ year old locals with a walking stick power past you.
You should have filmed more of the train!
I did but cut it out as it just got stuck and stood still for fifteen minutes blocking the road 🤣
