- On July 21st, 2023 - Cops arrested 37-year-old Louis Goode, the son of a retired Will County Judge, after reports of an argument at the Best Western hotel for a domestic disturbance -- officers learned the victim became involved in an argument with Goode in the hotel parking lot and Goode forced the victim back into his hotel room, where he punched the victim in the face multiple times before then taking her phone from her to prevent her from calling 911.

So many people especially on CZcams make dumb comments saying cops can't search, detain, etc without probably cause do not know that anytime someone is on probation or parole they have to voluntarily give up multiple Constitutional Rights in exchange for not spending all their time in prison. If you are on probation and or parole any cop and or probation/parole agent can search you or your property at any time without needing probable cause. You also can be detained or questioned without the cops even needing the same suspicion that you have committed a crime that other people get. The fact he was on parole means those cops didn't have to ask him to let them in his room. They could have just walked right in and he couldn't do anything about it.

A lot of police footage on CZcams is either age restricted or censored because of their guidelines. Even Code Blue Cam has a patreon to help them continue to post videos since they get demonetized.

Also, you know he's abusive when he says, "Just wait until I get out..." When my dad got physical a couple of times to my overly defiant melodramatic sister growing up, she would threaten to call the cops. Granted, I highly doubt back then it would've been considered abuse at all, but I knew that even though he was never physically abusive to me or my other siblings that he was emotionally abusive because he would say, "Go ahead, call the cops. If you think XYZ was bad, just wait to see what I do when I get out. I'll make you wish you forgot the number to call." That was more messed up to me than any hands he could've placed on me. Before anyone says anything negative about my dad, they got divorced when I was 17. When my mom left he turned into a giant teddy bear! I didn't know that she was the cause but I figured it out when they tried to make it work a few times after her initial leaving and each time he was so busy trying to do the impossible thing to make her happy that he took his rage and frustration out on us. He's a product of his environment and most parents that were born in the baby boomer era were black and white parents because their parents their parents raised them that way. My dad is a good man who didn't even know he was admissible and cries every time you say anything about that time because he's so ashamed.

Should be common sense but if you're not in the right mental state, I don't know if it should count against you. So many LEOs are great at social work when they weren't trained but also many of them are unaware of those issues because they just think people are being stupid and don't care about consequences. I think it takes a very skilled officer with great emotional intelligence and who also has compassion and empathy while using discretion properly.
