Michael, this legit!!! I do think that your last point, even some black directors will do that as well with the scene changing to a so-called black neighborhood. Maybe it's learned behavior to a certain extent. Loving your content, indeed!!
I had an argument with a black man about Soul plane and why I refused to watch it.
May I please add some things shown in white directed movies that you don't do in a Black house?
11- When people come into the house from outside, get something out the frig or touch some food without washing their hands!
12- When they taste something from the cooking pot and put the spoon back in it!
13- When they just roll out the bed after a busy night, pick their draws and stuff up off the floor, dress and leave with bathing or anything else!

Yesh. If this is racism, I'm sure black folks will gladly trade you positions in the artiface that is racial hierarchy and happily stop having to ease their plight with humor and social observations and critiques on power structure.
