    Great video Donny. I have an Echo CS300 that I rebuilt the carb on. It cranks easy, idles well and revs. I have tuned it with a tach so everything should be right. However, as soon as you put it in the wood it dies. It’s passed a pressure/vacuum test, exhaust screen is clean, tank vent is functional. I don’t what else to check.

    Hey Donny!
    Got a quick question about a little Stihl MS260 Walbro WT. Carb is spotless, fuel line good, intake boot like new. Runs good and holds a tune on the high side but will get rich and stall at idle, only if you pick it up off the ground or tip it around, if you hold it steady she'll idle all day. It fires up rich after it stalls, clear it out and idles fine again. I believe I've narrowed it down to the main nozzle check valve leaking? Or would that make it lean? Maybe fuel puddling issue? It's had this issue since I got it, I bought it barely used for cheap because of this. Like to hear your thoughts on this if possible thanks!
    Annoyed and makes me love my Huskys (353 and 365) that much more haha!
    Cheers from the Cariboo

    • @Mahoodfallslife
      @Mahoodfallslife Před 3 lety

      I think I may have figured out my issue.. Pulled the carb off and looked down the intake, there's basically a wall of plating on the lower edge of the port, sticks up 1/16" or so. Looks like the fuel would puddle there then get sucked in when tipped. Lack of quality control on Stihls part?? Ever encountered this?

    Hi Donny! I have a jonsered 910e. I just put a carb kit in it hs 199a tilletson. I can only get it started with fuel thumb throttle body and when it does run the fuel just pools up in there like it’s not metering it at all. • @donnywalker4691
      @donnywalker4691  Před rokem

      So what your saying it’s flooding you need to pressure the carb and see if it’s the needle leaking or your metering lever is way to high
