Starlight Express belongs to Andrew Lloyd Webber and Really Useful Group! - Hudba
I really wish this would tour here again.
I love that they did not "over sing" this song
I absolutely LOVE the way Nikki Belsher played Pearl. She made Pearl so young, lovely, fresh, and loveable. I want to get this cast album soon!
Nikki has such a gorgeous voice.
Most beautiful version of the song. The lyrics are incredible.
Only you is one of the best solo/duets by Andrew Lloyd Webber
I saw the Broadway version first, which I loved a lot, then saw the Australian version in Japan, which was by far the best! It was performed in the large arena so the stage was surrounded by the audience (360 degrees). They skated more freely and the races looked more realistic and exciting.
The entire cast was great, especially I loved Bobby and Nikki's performances. They were so cute on and off stage (there was a documentary about the tour on Japanese TV).
I was so impressed that I went to see it 3 times. I still have the CD set I bought then.
It’s my first time to watch musical stage in Japan when childhood, and even now it sometime come up wonderful memories…🥰
Only you
Have the power to move me.
LOL when I was a little kid I loved this song.
super, einfach nur wunderschön..
久しぶりに聞きました。日本公演に行ったの思い出すなぁ・・

This duo is the best
永遠に大好きなミュージカル・スターライトエクスプレス。✨✨✨
very beautiful. I hope this comes back to US.
love it
Thankyou for this, I saw it a couple of times, it’s was fantastic
Australian version was the best bar none. Pitty they never did a full cast recording and a DVD like they did for Phantom, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar
I agree with you so much nothing can beat Nikki Belsher sweet voice and Bobby Collins voice. A perfect match. Best Pearl and Rusty I think.
Indeed!
The only thing this version was missing was Belle the Sleeping Car
And uk engine
また日本に来てほしいです。
i love this song...this could be better with lyrics on it...thanks for this vid..
Nikki is teaching the Billy Elliots how to tap for the musical of the same name!
Can you please upload the rest of the songs from Starlight Express Australia?
it doesn't need to be revived because theres a production in germany thats the number 1 show there and theres going to an australian tour as for the plot its about a steam engine who races against a diesel and an electric basically
Traumhaft,schön.....und gerade so passend!!!!!"♡]In,meinem Leben.

Currently Nikki Belsher is Dance Tutor at the West End High Summer School (UK), but I dunno what Bobby currently does.
Yeah, not a lot of info on Bobby Collins, except that he was 21 when he did this tour.
were can i get this version of this song from ??
Nikki is about 43.
:)
is this the original? or cliff richard & sarah brightman?
@ropina02 Kind of silly isn't it. Yes.
Andrew Lloyd Webber is a musical genius! However his own singing voice leaves much to be desired.
Title of the movie for this song?
Not a movie, it's from the musical Starlight Express.
Read the title of the video.
@@jp3813 there was one duet where the male has a huge voice. Im looking for that one

These people must've been great dancers, cos they sure as hell didn't get the job on their singing ability...
