In this episode we lower my Audi A6 3.0 TDI Allroad. As you could see in the last episode it needed some work on the air suspension so that is what needs taking car of first. Then we are looking into VCDS and how it can be used to lower cars with adaptive air suspension.

Great work Memphis you've got yourself a really good car there. These videos really help with the lockdown thank you from England!
Looks great man. Yeah new wheels would be cool and when needed with spacers. In my opinion, it would be cool to paint those plastic parts in body color. And I'm also from Belgium 😃
Love the 4F. Owned a A6 for 6 years on KW suspension. If I knew how easy it was to lower I would have bought one with stock air. It was indeed easy to lower this model with VCDS. Have Fun with this car. Groeten uit Oost Vlaanderen!👍💪
The 402 mod!! I did the same thing on my c5 allroad 2.7t(same engine as a b5 s4!) out here in the states. As im sure you already know, the lowest setting will ride a bit bumpier, so when friends/family get in the car i usually bump it up to the 2nd level ride height.
Enjoy the car!
That is wicked, my previous neighbour had a 2000 Merc S500 which would sit itself on the ground every time it was parked. Love the factory air suspension in luxury euro cars
Always fun to see a new video from your channel :)
new vid made my day better, keep up the good work ;)
Happy to see you, hop your well.
I have an 2009 A6 4F Avant 2,7 TDI quattro since 5 years. Love my car. I like your Videos very much! Keep up the good work!
I enjoyed this thx. Looks like some new dampers are in order too!
Lovely episode, keep up the amazing content! 👊
Hey Memphis, i really enjoy your videos, every single one of them!
You and your videos mide be the reason why i think about getting a Golf 1 again or VW T3 :)
the Audi is also nice and in my oppionen a perfect choice for your needs !
Keep going, great job till now ;)
Great work bro! I enjoy watching each of your videos!
So... You've got an Allroad, the raised version of A6 and then lowered it... okaaaay....... ;)
you can't lower the a6 with air from factory tho...
It only has springs and shocks
That's how you do it! Slammed is the way to go!
*blonde bearded guy meme* yes
Brilliant video Memphis love your channel stay safe 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Really love your channel mate ! Learned a lot !
Kwaliteit zoals usual
Awesome work done, keep it up, love watching your videos :)
Love your new car! We had the same, you guesed it, in germany. It was a 3.0 TFSI though, but it was lovely to drive it on the Autobahn, especially goingt to Austria for skiing. You really have to watch out for the air compressor, we had the same issues and it hat to be replaced, eventually my dad sold it.
Très intéressant la suspension par airbag ! Je ne connaissais pas cette technologie, merci.
New subscriber here.. sorry, didn’t know your channel existed. Glad I found it, albeit by accident but the content of the videos is great especially when you worked on the Audi 100. Great to see your new workshop is almost complete too.. it’s looking fab 👍
I always preferred the stance of the S6 to that of the Allroad. Your computer wizardry has improved the look no end. Great job Memphis. Am I the only one who likes the original alloys? 👍
Thumps my friend, I enjoy all of your videos. I have also learned a lot, thank you. Keep on bringing the good stuff 👍 cheers
Hey Memphis, i really enjoy your videos, every single one of them!
ADVOKAT 047 thanks!
Great cars and so under rated. One new sub from the Uk😎👍
Hello, I'm from Brazil Watch your videos I think very cool. It's a lot of fun too. That's good work.
Good job ! A great car. I have the same model, but with a petrol operating engine instead of diesel.
Good choice.
Dude I just love your videos!
Great work. With vcds you can activate parking sensors visual on the mmi. Needle sweap, high beam auto it changes back to low beam when cars come, and digital speedo and turbo boost visual in the cluster.
What's the coding for the auto high beam to low beam, does it include the 4F?
Awesome video kiddo! Great job 👍🏼
excellent video as usual. The audi is looking nice
What a car!! Great video 🙌
Great video man!
Excellent work!
Pure gold! Good job :)
mooie daily en leuke content 🤙 subscribed
Great video, thanks and keep up with the good work.
Liking your channel pal. Good stuff 👌
Great work! Greetings from Denmark
Nice one! Subscribed!
17:08 i agree, BUT since anyone can bag their car at this point you can get the best of both worlds easily. want performance? pull her up? want a clean, lowered car? down she goes
Damn, looks so good ! 👌
Thank you for the kind words. I would like to point out that there are some functions that the factory scan tool does that VCDS can not perform. In a nutshell, the factory scan tools at VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda dealers call home to special servers to get data that is used for things like firmware updates, or security type functions (key matching for example). As you might guess, Ross-Tech customers will not have access to said servers, thus not be able to perform those type functions. Regards.
RossTechVCDS thank you for the clarification!
Fantastic video, greetings from the U.K.
Good job!
Thanks for the knowledge..
With VCDS you can enable things like Fog lights as cornering lights, control windows with remote, oil temp in MMI, needle sweep, coming home/leaving home lights.
On the prefacelift A6 C6 can't do Needle Sweep, or oil temp, only on the facelift models. Cornering can't be also done, not even on the facelift C6.
Lekker man bro
Looks dope!
Congrats !!
That reminds me of my w124 surprising me 2 years ago. My car was parked in front of my house and i saw it sitting low as a lizard. Left spring perch was badly rusted and ripped off. That's why it was soo low. I welded it back to its place and painted it afterwards.
Intressant filmpje👍👌
I have the exact same car, really Good car. Love it!
Buen trabajo y video 👋🏼
I don't know but I think that OBDwarenhuis should offer a VCDS kit to you... Great video!
Nice video!!
Looks really good I would recommend a straight pipe😂 these engines sound amazing
They really do!
I want to streight pipe my Audi Q7 3.0 V6 TDI but it's pretty costly 😂
Interesting video, Memphis. Speaking as an old fart, I prefer stock height. Considering the state of the roads here, stock height and smaller wheels/taller tires would be an absolute must. Lowered, it would never make it into and out of my driveway. A few years back the expressway between where I live and where my mother lives suffered pavement failure. The carriageway had been resurfaced and the new surface did not bond properly. For a week every time I drove through the area there would be 5 or 6 cars on the shoulder awaiting recovery with at least two flat tires. Talking to one of the recovery drives I found out that many not only ruined the two tires but had also bent or broken the alloy wheels.
Being me- i'd have tried to patch it with a motorcycle patch xD
Awesome bro!! You can also use some spacers.
Great content if you post more often your channel will blow up
Goed gedaan 👍🏻
best video! also explains how it set up height. Thanks. we all have VCDS but cannot find codes for every system, i have no manual.
Nice video.
But be careful, it is bad for your suspension bags to inflate of deflate to the maximum. It is also bad for the suspension arms, especially silenblocs. But I have to agree it looks nice. I do have lowered all my cars but it always cost me a lot of money to replace the broken parts while lowered
Nice e28 in the background. Wish we got all the cool euro bits from the factory here in the states.
Blijf zo verder doen!
That's a nice car!
I Keep coming back to this video😂Thanks a lot was able to calibrate my car was 1 cm of and that seemd to cause my yellow light to flash and i got a Code for mecanical error on sensor. But seems to be fine now 😎
Nice tool vcds!
Damg that thing sounds sick
to be honest. If i just looked at that car, I wouldn't have thought it was a high mileage :/ But that just means the car was taken after up until the end by the old owner/your dad :) It might be some expensive work that has to be done, but to be fair if the old parts lasted that long, the new parts should last just a long :O so it's worth doing in my opinion, keep going :)
Ah yes, this reminds me of lowering the rear of my BMW E39 540i wagon using INPA, which is fairly similar to VCDS, just a little less user-friendly.
Great vid! Thanks for the tutorial, mine need doing and this has really helped. Out of interest, what size alloys are you running? Thanks again 👍🏻
Gr 👌👍
Cool stuff mate , I think all roads go lower than my d4 a8 this thing will only go down by 17mm with vcds. I ran lowering links on my previous d3 a8 so I’m gonna get some for this one too.
uitstekend, VCDS is mijn beste aankoop geweest
Excellent VCDS has been my best purchase
Impressive !
Damn nice m8. Will you straight pipe it in the future?
Gehoorbescherming 👌🏻
Very interesting video. Voted & Sub'd.
Thank you!
Hello, first of all, that Audi looks great, I want to change from 245/40/R18 to 225/40/R20. rub against the wheel arch. thank you
WOW incredible, whe i started to follow you i was interested in your restoration process of e28 BMW because i have the same one, but surprise!!! i have the same A6 allroad too! So i´m going to follow you twice!! Regrets from Spain!
PD: let me only one advise, show the vcds codes in english to understand better!! thanks!!
Hello. On what driving mode (dynamic, automatic, comfort, allroad or lift) your car was set, before you start this procedure?
coole video man ! doe zo verder (y)
Hey I couldn’t help but notice your rear brake line have cracks in the rubber layer after the crimped fitting going to the caliper ;) cheers and great videos my friend
HEEL KNAP GEDAAN!
I own a mercedes b200 w245. 320k km. All major suspension components have been replaced, and pretty much the whole engine has been redone. Most of it was done out of preventative maintenance. I guess this Audi you got hasn't seen much more than a frequent oil change. It makes a difference
nice ride, nice vid, gr vanuit Eindhoven
Great video. When you washed the fender liners I was so satisfied lol. I’ll keep supporting so you can keep paying the road tax on this beast. Is it an idea to wrap the plastic trim in the body color of the car?
Madern it is black like the car
Memphis ja maar het is kunstof.
Great video. Although Im not sure the lowered look suits the A6.
Doesnt the ride height have to be slightly offset because it needs to be leveled when there is a driver in the car?
