      18:28 oh, how well I know this - there is ALWAYS sth that brakes - ideally at 9 P.M. and you cannot start your car to get to the parts store to get the part you\ve just broken. Luckilly I can use my bike and the parts store is only 40 minutes (by bike) away. And then you need to get back. By bike. And then repair the car... unless you want to keep cycling. Well sometimes repairing your car by yourself can keep you in a pretty good shape :)

      @SamuliKostamo Před 3 lety +2

      You can also just push quick connect fittings with wires in them to the female plug on the e-brake motor and connect them straight to the battery. If the motor doesnt move when you connect the battery, reverse the wires and run it until it until the motor stops turning automatically. Then just push the pistons in by hand, do your thing and run the same steps in reverse. It is important to drive the e-brake motor back in after the maintenance. Otherwise the car might get confused since it thinks that the e-brake is engaged while it is not. Goes without saying, that you should have your battery negative disconnected while doing this. Just did the rear brakes on my 2011 A4 like this. Worked wonders without having to have VCDS on hand.

      @nigel-Rollercam-channel Před 3 lety

    Nice to see you prime the oil filter. And also nice to see you cover the intakes while working on them. Regarding the hard to reach belt: as i can recall the whole front of the car could slide forward as being some sort of 'service mode', no need to remove the bumper.

    I Really enjoyed watching. I have a 2008 Audi S6. And while mine is petrol and the other diesel, it was still interesting to watch.
    Back in 2018 I tried to get my back rotors off... I still have the new rotors in my living room LOL, they are torqued to like 150 lbs...

    A friend of mine had a similar year A6 Allroad 3.0. When he got rid of it nothing worked, air suspension, the screen, some of the interior buttons. Also a lot of dash lights. But, the engine and transmission never skipped a beat. 360 000km😁
