I love how Paulie's annoying yammering makes it all the way through and into Tony's coma dream.
Thats cause when ur in a coma u can hear people speaking .
He’s just that annoying
Even in dream land, when Paulie is nervous he can't help it
I thought his story was hilarious. "Wrinkles like an old lady's cvnt" Lol
😄
This episode is hands down one of the funniest episodes of the series. Paulie getting kneed in the nuts, Silvio being put in the ambulance while Bobby hassles him, Paulie giving Tony Tachycardia. 100% gold.
That's gold Jerry! Gold!
Paulie telling Vito "Back up there Bluto" lololol
Oh! Ladies room over there. Lmao!
“Uff! Madon! He looks terrible”
Silvio's weakness during this episode and his tenure as boss really shows how hard Tony's job was.
@Pepi Roni he was on the job 2 days and ended up in the hospital. He constantly tried to push issues down the road.
@Pepi Roni did you even watch the episode?
" Every little thing is connected to every other thing. At the end of the day its almost too much to handle - and your left alone with it all "
@@davidshamiri1448 I'm sorry you feel that way. . .
@@davidshamiri1448 I can't believe I'm quoting that animal Blundetto, but it's spot on -
Chris: "Being the boss... He's isolated himself."
Animal Blundetto: *"yeah, it's just him and his money..."*
The scene where Gabriella is helping Silvio get dressed is so interesting to me. Showing someone's morning routine may seem mundane, but I liked way they openly talk about how Sil is feeling with his new position, plus Gab offering some words of comfort/advice. Probably one of the few moments of honest mob husband/wife interactions on the show.
The funny thing, Tony is the real outlier in this whole universe. Sure, all these guys have Gumars, but Tony is probably the coldest husband out of all the top guys. Silvio clearly respects his wife and values her feedback and opinions. Johnny Sack's wife is twice his size and he still won't cheat on her. Even Phil Leotardo appears to have a pretty stable relationship with his wife.
Obviously, it is complicated because Tony does do a lot of great things for the people in his orbit but he is so spiteful and he doesn't really have much of a relationship with his wife or family.
@@RustCole01I think if we followed any of those characters as long as we followed Tony besides Johnny sack we’d see them treat their wives just as bad as Tony treats Carmela.
@@RustCole01 remembre when chris lashed out at silvio at his drug addiction he tells him don't lecture me when you fucked every girl in the BING
You failed to mention an important moment. When Silvio touches Tony's hand while nobody is watching. It shows he really loves him and he doesn't want him to die. It's important to understand their relationship.
0:14 “now the episode opens with Vito giving Paulie a tip” OH MARONE NOT PAULIE TOO
well played sir
lmfaoooooooooo!
Now there is an image
OH!!!
The entire scene of them discussing horror movies was utterly hilarious.
Too bad they didn't mention Michael Myers, wait did they?
It's funny how even the Shah of Iran was telling the guy he loved like a brother-in-law to stay loyal and to kick up to Carmella.
Hey... it was the medication he was on, for his blood pressure.
Vito was very disloyal
Now Christopher to loyle to his capo
phil was old school and a real mobster even when he doesn't like the boss he respects him
Eventually though, he impacted Vito’s bottom line.
Carmella looking back at Paulie and Vito with that naive, goofy smile, only to find them looking forlorn at having to hand over the money, is very satisfying in a weird way. It shows how that whole life is predicated on BS and that these people are only in it for themselves. Makes you wonder how Carmella would cope once Tony was finally taken out.
"You'll be taken care of Carm" - Anthony Soprano, criminal liar
I’ve always felt that Carmela was selfish and or naive to ignore how the family treated Rosalie and Angie after Jackie and Pussy died. Especially Rosalie. Someone who just a few years before was in her exact same position and now is pushed to the curb and treated like yesterday’s news. The treatment of those two should’ve been a clear sign to Carmela.
@@theboard3476 that’s the thing, she buys all her shit with blood money and has no problem with it, has kids with a murderer, no problemo, infedelity, WTF Tony!
@@theboard3476 nice observation
I'll be honest, I have a theory she was in on it. She wants the lifestyle, without the life. Gets everything, gets to build spec-houses ect. Gets to find herself a new Furio, go to Paris again with her friend Rosalie and chase young men ect.
And yeah, no longer has to be worried about gang wars killing her children as collateral.
The scenario where they have Tony about to go into the house is easily the most realistic interpretation of how the subconscious may work just before the soul leaves the body .. its really thought out and its chilling
You can't have "soul leaving the body" and "realistic interpretation" in the same sentence I'm afraid. By definition, a dying brain's hallucinations are a very subjective and pretty much unmeasurable phenomenon.
i mean there is no soul and no afterlife so nothing about that is realistic whatsoever
@@Nikedemos Dr Schwabb over here .. why dont you stop breaking my bawwls

@@Mav3D67 Im not religious
I've always sympathized with Sylvio in this episode since I'm also the type of person who was always much more comfortable in the position of right hand man or second in command. His issues here also harken back to a quote he himself said earlier in the show to the effect of "some people are just better off being Number 2's."
Agreed. Myself included. I enjoy being #2 and letting the more experienced person do the heavy lifting/ major decisions. Keeps my stress level down. JMO.
Robert Greene himself said in the 48 laws of power, is better to be kingmaker or the kings best friend than to be the king 👑
I know your comment is old but I agree. I know where my strengths lie and it is absolutely in being second in command! I’m a wonderful assistant manager. I have no problem making the boss look good and doing all the behind the scenes stuff to keep everything going. Even right down to making her coffee every morning, so it’s one less thing she has to do over the course of her extremely hectic day! I’m good at it. I don’t feel demeaned by it. I enjoy it. It’s the perfect role for me!
Somebody did a good video about how basically this episode shows it's a good way of showing the hypothetical situation of what would happen if Tony would die. The leadership would fall apart because nobody can really take his place, and Carmela will more than likely end up like the other mob wife widows unsupported and have to fend for herself.
Yh that was me, and this is the video:

Props to AJ for trying to avenge his father but typically he screws it up
Well he was stopped by Christopher and Bobby
Vengeance I not prop-worthy. But what do you expect from a brat who was raised by a gangster?
AJ Is Fredo Jr😊
If he somehow did shank Junior, then what? He wasted a federal prisoner and now he’s going to federal prison for life.
It's simple, Tony was a made guy and Kevin Finnerty wasn't. Can't wait for more Sopranos on Monday!
wait there is not tomorrow?
@@verapamil07 No, there are no videos on weekends. This lines up better with the movie's release date
This is such a great episode. I don't love the first half of season 6, but all the little details in this one that flesh out the mob lifestyle are great. The effect on the kids, Paulie and Vito not wanting to give over money, Bobby complaining to Silvio while on his stretcher, etc. It's just a great representation of how morally bankrupt it all is.
Also, I like the idea that the scenes where Tony's family is afraid he is about to die are a flashforward to after he actually dies in the last episode. This way, we get to see how they react to his death without needing another episode after the ending.
5:16 You left out that while yes it was stress related, it was greatly exasperated by Silvio's sudden chronic asthma which was oddly enough never mentioned before or after this episode ever again.
I have asthma pretty bad and it really isnt a problem in day-to-day life. Only when there is a lot of physical activity or similar situations to induce heavy breathing
I’d argue as Consig, Sil doesnt do much running around anymore, yknow?
They took a lot of details of Chris life for the movie .. instead of Cleaver they should have named it Canopy

that carmela's face at the end was the best lol she probably figured what would happen to them after tony would have died
Carmela always to pretend dont know about origin of those money ;-)
This was a great crossover with Friends. Rachel's dad, Dr. Greene, as Tony's doctor.
The doctor with a bee on his hat was chandlers boss lol
Wow, he was a doctor in Garden State too. Played a lawyer in an old show from the 70's KAZ
The part where Meadow is the one that saves Tony and calls him back is a direct correlation to how she cannot park her car and MOG has a direct shot at Tony's 3 o'clock when exiting the bathroom.
You see only what you want to see.
Also when Meadow was tryna park, it took her four attempts and on the fourth. She got it, similar to how there were 3 attempts on Tonys life but the fourth was successful. Hence the screen turning black
I love how Paulie pretty much saved Tony's Life by talking to him so much in the hospital room 😊
I always felt like silvio was my favorite character out of the members of tony crew
Mine favourite character outside Tony was Richie Aprile based solely on how he took that Jackeeeet off Rocco DiMeo the toughest guy in Essex county
His wife was the hottest
@@mikefloyd3152 nah pussy wife was

Yes Silvio always been one of my favorites
After watching this, it occurs to me that maybe Vito sent Paulie to rob the Columbians knowing they'd still be there counting the cash & hoping that he wouldn't make it back....
How can you have that much cash stashed without SOMEONE guarding it?
Good catch!
I've been binge watching season 6 lately. I think Mayhem is one of the best Sopranos episodes. The Inn Finnerty scene is fabulous.
MayhAm
One of my favorite episodes and oddly I think it's the only time Christopher has a lengthy conversation with AJ

Lol Sil all f*cked up and Bobby is still busting his balls. (This episode was great)
When did Bobby become such a sore ass? All that time with Janice ugh 🤢
It just shows dat Bobby is not a saint but a gangstar
Shoutout to Placenta Juan .. and his cousins Cervix Julio, Uterus Bob and Labia john

But I'm sure I'll repeat those names the next time that I'm in public, and drunk enough.
I like Joe Eugene was wearing a high collar on his suit to hide the noose marks
Jeez, I never noticed that. Thank you!
You missed the opportunity to throw a little credit Phil’s way ! Vito goes to him for a sympathetic ear about kicking up and Phil shuts him down ! Even though he hates Tony he follows the rules !
I loved when Paulie and Vito were salty they had to give Carmela money because Tony might not wake up lol
It’s total Mayham seeing Pure kino regularly uploading these videos
Paulie was my favorite character ! He manages to be likeable in spite of being a stone cold killer !
Not likable. Very entertaining.
Will somebody please help me out here? I can recall two times that Paulie got kicked in the nuts, but I'm sure it's more than that.
Any help? I've got to get this assignment turned in by tomorrow morning!
Silvo couldnt carry the alpha vibe needed to be heard without speaking ...
Don't think Kino is kicking up to Borko anymore!
Tony should have come out of that coma the second he saw that Animal Blundetto. He should have seen right away it was a trap.
At the end, Paulie looks like his coach turned into a pumpkin.
I like when Carmella looks over and she sees that Paulie and Vito look like death after handing over the money.
This channel makes me wanna watch Sopranos episodes that I never had interest in watching before. And I've had The entire series for over 10 years.
I love how Paulie and vito argue over shares from the heist because vito only tipped them
Off about it basically mirrors the problem Ralph and Paulie had
She was scared that if Tony died she would have to hand out super market sausage
she would never she had that house on her name , tony's offshore accounts , 600k profits from that house she sold and even i think that her dad is quit wealthy
Why is it always the balls with Paulie?
Paulie and Vito are so disappointed that Tony didn't die the looks on their faces in the elevator
"Paulie talking about his usual bullshit"

Your channel is great. Keep up the great work.
Stating the obvious here, but this took Pauline down a lot as favorite characters go. For loyalist it’s really Sil and that’s it.
I always wondered why didn’t Vito just do the robbery himself with some of his guys? Maybe I missed something.

Hearing Kino say “Stay tuned for the next Soprano log coming TOMORROW” 🤌
Technically Monday lol. The schedule changed
All due respect, Milfy looked especially luscious in the grocery store.
Do you have anything else to say, Mr. Einstein?
This was the episode I found out that Steven Van Zandt wore a wig. I was always suspecting throughout the series but I assumed beforehand he had hair products or something. When he and his actual on-screen wife Gabrielle were talking while he was putting on his suit and you see the back lift up slightly. This revelation isn't to insult or make fun of the actor, it was how I got the realisation.
Many Saints of Newark establishes that Silvio always wore a hair piece.
@@michaelross1452 it does and it does clarify things for the Character but I hadn't seen it, I don't think it was out, at the time of my realising.

8:02 what a beautiful singing voice our host has
I really, really really wish David Chase would make a horror movie. He'd be amazing at a Halloween type film.
NOOOOOO! No, oh god, please, no! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Many Saints proved he's washed up and willing to shit all over his best work to stand on his soapbox and virtue signal about cooked-cunt race theory / and unironically claim that "white privilege" is real, which is literally the single most insane take I've heard in my life. Twitterites are a cult.
Thanks for getting us fired up for the movie, it's a fun time 🎬
Kino, great Soprano analysis!
I wonder if David Chase ever discusses this anywhere but the first time you meet Silvio’s character at the pork store you kinda get the impression he’s not a made guy. Tony says “hey what are you doing here “ to which Silvio reply’s hes just there to grab the gabagool. Strikes me as odd since its the family’s hang out. I feel like it was decision somewhere during the 1st season to make him a permanent character. So that’s why his discussion about being made boss by Jackie Sr always sticks out to me
Christopher putting AJ in a headlock and mussing up his hair slays me 😂code for “You’re an idiot kid, you still are, I’ll buy you a Happy Meal.”
1:55 😆 it was Hair Volumizer Competition hour w Dr Melfi today!
I have never watched the sopranos before and have been following your logs. I started watching a bit ahead, and apparently I missed a lot of stuff. I didn't realize they were stalling giving Carmela the money, for example. Thanks for making these

I love how when carmella blows up at AJ about what an embarrassment he is he storms out of the room barefoot and in his boxers in front of his grandparents 😂
Thank YOU so much for this series! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I’ve been for this month! An episode every day leading to the movie premiere!!! We all appreciate your hard work!
For a guy who was catching not pitching Vito sure got balls to cause so much drama while the boss was near death.
Tony got his revenge by cheaping out on Vito Jr. and sending him to boot camp instead of paying for the family to move
Dp you think Steve Buscemi's character in this episode is Blundetto or an embodiment of Tony's actions or something?
I’m sure it’s for a specific reason, but to me it seems like in any dream how people you know can be inserted
