While I agree that Hank might not be racist just because of his banter with Gomez, he is definitely a racist person. He racially profiles the janitor, Mr. Archilleya, as the main suspect of the meth cook. After finding no meth or meth lab, Hank still arrests him for possession of marijuana. Later on, when Hank learns that Walt is using marijuana, he deliberately looks past this offense. Now, it's likely this was done because Hank personally knows Walt and was willing to let it fly, but him suspecting Mr. Archilleya over most of the other staff at the school is no accident.
