- 2024 Suzuki Jimny 5-Door changes are obvious. You have five doors to start with. The ladder-frame chassis is extended to produce a longer wheelbase of 2,590 mm. While the 3-door Suzuki Jimny measure 3,395 mm long to comply with the Kei car regulations in Japan, the bigger offering grows it to 3,645 mm. This is well under the 4-metre mark that Indian regulations use to jump to different (and higher) tax brackets. The width and height figures are identical to the international model.
2024 Suzuki Jimny 5-door off-road ability
Being a Jimny, the 5-door model is expected to perform well off-road. A 210 mm ground clearance, 36-degree approach angle, 24-degree breakover angle, and a 50-degree departure angle help it tackle the tricky bits that come with no tarmac.
The design brings no surprises. It is still boxy and still gets finished in a Kinetic Yellow color. The roof is finished in black and gives a nice contrast to the aesthetic. The wheel arches sport 15-inch wheels with 195/80 tyres. The spare wheel is mounted on the side-hinged rear door.
2024 Suzuki Jimny engine specifications
The power comes from a 1.5-litre petrol engine that offers mild-hybrid technology. This produces 105 hp and 134 Nm of torque, channeled to all four wheels. The four-wheel-drive system gets 4WD-low mode as well if you fancy a bit of rough off-roading. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a four-speed automatic.

i think they sould put AGS transmission insted a regular automatic transmission in that 5 doors version. the body of 5 door jimny is more heavier than its 3 door little Brother and also regular automatic transmission is more heavier too i think it wolud be better to use AGS. to solve the weight ratio isue in 5 doors version cut the weight in transmission would be a brilliant Idea.

Moved to the Phils 5 yrs ago from the USA. When I moved here, I was on the fence of buying a 3 door version, however it was not practical for my family and I at the time. I’m glad I waited.
Just last month, I pulled the trigger on a 2024 Suzuki Jimny 5 door AT variant for a whopping 1.9M Php ($34K USD). I love my Jimny. Definitely no regrets considering this is my 3rd vehicle here in the Phils now. However, I hate the price and the markup (aka “top up”) Suzuki Philippines dealerships are charging for the AT variants.

i don't know if 1.5 litre mild hybrid producing 105 hp is enough to move entire thing + being 4x4
my 2024 grand vitara had same layout with k15c engine and that thing barely moves. you really need to press the pedal just to overtake in flat road
this thing shouldn't be put on any road condition except a flat asphalt road, not even a mild off road, if you not want to ended up as laughing stock.
it performs like a goat even with that engine due to it's solid built: ladder-frame chassis, solid front & rear axles, 4-wheel drive system with a low-range gear, and a bunch of electronics like hill-start assist, hill-descent control, ESP and electronic braking differential (front and rear)
