People say the magnum is out of date. I have a 5.7 hemi jeep commander and a 5.9 magnum ram. I prefer everything about the magnum.
i have the 5.7 commander and 5.2 zj and i hate the hemi fly by wire. terrible throttle response compared to the dated ZJ throttle body
i prefer the hemi 5.7 over 5.9 magnum:hemi nearly 100 pounds lighter which makes a big difference
@@microsoft790 well my hemi commander just blew up. Rattling like crap and smells of burning plastic. Good riddance. I was going to put a 5.9 magnum or 4.0 HO in it but couldn't be bothered trying to keep the can-bus for the interior controls so sent it to the wreckers. Back to my 4.0 wranglers and 5.9 Ram.
@@moparmtb360 thats a bummer should have tried to sell it to someone who would care about the car underneath! we replaced the engine in ours when it went.
@@moparmtb360 any idea what went in the motor? Ours was pre-eagle heads so the valve seats welded when the car was shut off immediately after an hour of freeway driving in 110 degree heat.. popped the seats right out of the heads ended up breaking a piston while trying to get it started again

Awsome video.. by how much did the srt8 win though ? I have a 5.9 zj myself. Love it had it for 13 years.. have a 90 Grand Wagoneer too. Unfortunatly all my money and time goes to the wagoneer. So i havent modded my ZJ
