@@firecracker_jim I wholeheartedly disagree. But to each their own. As a long-time fan of RCHP, I think this is a great album. Definitely better than IMW (never liked it very much) and The Getaway (which was actually not bad by any means).

After careful analysis based on countless hours of listening to RHCP and many live concerts in many countries...this is the best song on the album. What can I say? I am a sucker for the "If You Want Me To Stay" vibe, the sweet sounding trumpet and the dripping base line. One man's opinion.

Yeah totally agree. Every track is a winner, they blend the best of Californication, Bye The Way, Stadium Arcadium and the Getaway. They’re rockiest and maturest songs to date, youthful and old. This is their most consistent they’ve done. It’s officially their best ever. And now one of my all time albums….already after just a few days of it’s release. The Millennium Fab Four!!! 🎶🙏🥰❤️🥂🥂🥂🥂

When Anthony sings "All I know is I feel fine" it seems hypnotic and I begin to feel fine. One of my favorite tracks I have heard of this album so far.

I can't believe this song isnt more popular. One of the least talked about on the album. Best song of the hole album IMO
A strong vocal performance from Kiedis with Flea's trumpet the icing on the cake (he has given the brass a good dust off and polish for this new album demonstrating his lifelong love affair with jazz). Flea's bass playing and trumpet skills over the past 40 years are rare talents on a level where few musicians play (up there with John Entwhistle and Miles Davis). He comfortably knows when to turn these instruments up a gear and when to be a little more humble and understated showing his musical maturity. In some parts of the song the rhythm section arrangement has reminiscent hints of Stadium Arcadium's '21st century'. John's fluid interspersed guitar solos meanwhile makes the sound feel as if it is intuitively pouring out of his instrument like water - all the notes simply connect in a sense that they should have always been played that way. There seems to be no limits to this man's instinctive musical creatively and talent and with his bulging portfolio of band and solo work he stands alongside the likes of Elton John, John Lennon and David Bowie for songwriting. 'Let 'Em Cry' would have quite conceivably had bushy bearded Rick Rubin crying tears of joy overseeing the four record this one in the studio.
I love Flea but comparing him to Miles Davis is a bit ridiculous don't you think?

Easily my favourite track on their new album. Flea and John are perfectly intertwined, Kiedis’ vocal’s are silky smooth and the piece is not only groovy as hell but there are some subtle notes of jazz harmony in the bass and trumpet (which I think is a genius touch). I hope that’s Mike on the trumpet!
