This sounds so vintage RHCP like out in L.A. and funky crime, the art style of the video reminds me so much of love roller coaster and Pink Floyd, this whole song sounds like a huge throwback to their beginnings, the whole video reminds me of the album cover of their first album, amazing beautiful work fro RHCP going back to their roots 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤟🏼
Yep, it’s like a mixture of everything from 1984-2006. I love it.
Out in L.A. is a lot faster, they used to open with that song.
😅🤣😂🤣😅 Love Rollercoaster *Ohio Players.
well said I agree
It sounds exactly like one of their songs off of BSSM
This has a lot of Walkabout vibes.
Long live RHCP. Rock on.
I immediately thought of Walkabout when it started up
I too immediately thought walkabout. I can only hope that they start playing walkabout again live
Thats what I'm sayin
John had listening ohm
@@adamm7730 When you put it this way, now I really hope they'd have more of One Hot Minute vibes. It's still their greatest album for me!
I can hardly believe John is back, haven't heard him in the band since I was in high school. This is vintage RHCP, a breath of fresh air in today's music industry.
So much of a good escape from all the mumble rap and shit people play
is this Rubans as well ?
Dude it's so nostalgic. I listened to rhcp when they had john in my HS days, and was obsessed. It's amazing 10 years later to have it all over again
Good song but not a breath of fresh air
When does Anthony Kiedis breathe during the verse ??
At the end😂
I love how they put out a funky, chill song for their 2nd single- not some song you only listen to for the hook. RHCP are back for real and it's like I'm a kid again.
Thats what I love abouts them, they just play and write what they want.
@@wethepeople3340 if you read the lyrics hes actually going insane with shout outs its pretty impressive
Honestly, it’s been hard to be a hardcore RHCP fan since Dani California. This new music is changing that.
@@MarcosElMalo2 oh for sure ive been bashing klinghoffer for almost 11 years now
@@tupu_683 Dude, there's no need bash Josh .. It's apparent that their musical chemistry with Frusciante is on another level, but John left band man and what were they suppose to do, not move on and continue doing what they love till he decided he wanted to come back again? Josh was the best man for the job during those 10 years and yeah not every song they did were my kind of jam either, but they did put out some cool stuff and had lots of fun and great memories along the way so lets not hate and just appreciate that these guys are one of very few Bands that have been consistently putting out new music for almost 40 years!
My sister loved RHCP. She passed away in 2006 and I’m so grateful that they’re still making music and I can enjoy them as well ❤️ I still miss you
Sending you and your sister all my love, I'm sure you miss her every day but I believe she's in a better place 🧡

@@rescue9810 Must have been the hardest time of your life, good to hear you find solace in this music.
@@justfriccoff3363 Indeed. Shh!
This song is vintage Chili Peppers. AK’s lyrical ability just gets better with age, Flea’s ever present base is, as always, vital for any RHCP recording and John’s return has been the reason I have connected to most songs on Unlimited Love. His presence & skill is undeniable. And Chad….well Chad is just Chad & that’s what I love about him. I can’t think of another band that has travelled the road for so long & remained what their fans have always wanted. A band that creates NEW music to jam to, scream to, sing to & relate to after so long, can mean only one thing. They’re fucking legends.
Esque Chad Es GIGA CHAD
Agree!! These are not monks, they are wizards lol.
my first son was born last week. When he's crying and cant get to sleep at night, I put this song on and give him a little rock. By then end, he's out.
I get to groove, he gets to sleep, and his mum thinks im dad of the year. Thanks RHCP!
Dude, you're gonna be dad of the decade
I love you
I feel like my Dad would’ve done the same for me. I was practically raised on Californication and By The Way. I’m sure your son will remember it fondly
mans just left an amazon review on this
bro this is so cute
This sounds like the peppers back in the 90s, with some „walkabout“ and „apache rose peacock“ vibes. Love it!!
Walkabout is a perfect comparison!
I was just replying to a guy who said it sounded like a Josh song, and alluded to the era of Walkabout…..but citing that song would’ve really drove home the point! Lol
Too bad the song itself is bad. Pretty much anyone can write a song with a groovy vibe. But that aint enough. At least when we talk about a band like peppers.
czcams.com/video/zKh6ZhTNDCY/video.html
Apache rose gotta a rockin peacock!
i thought the very same thing! not bad but not great either, hopefully we get a bunch of bangers as well
The world is going down like the titanic but least RHCP is our string quartet
That's a 10/10.
For realz! It’s all goin down like the TITANIC! Pacific, North/South Atlantic !!!

So well said mate, great one 👍
Pearl Jam, Green Day, Weezer, Bad Religion, The Offspring and The Red Hot Chili Peppers are still rocking hard in 2022. Thank God 😐🌈🌅😇😍 Peace Love and hope in this crazy world.
this song has grown on me the most from these last two albums
fun fact - poster child is the smallest list of letters from which you could make the name 'Red Hot Chili Peppers'
Nice anagram
Flea’s bass groove is awesome. Can’t remember the last time I heard him just groove like this, seems more improvised, which gives me the impression that this album will feature some a lot more jams like this. All in for it!! Peppers are awesome, can’t wait for this album.
Too bad it can’t carry this song. It’s just a super bleh track.

Totally
Saw them live there so fu**ing good. Still killing it
oh finally someone who speaks english over here
I noticed that most of RHCP songs have a cool catchy guitar part at the beginning, and they don't do long beginnings like other songs, Anthony starts singing right away when the song starts and I think that it's a perfect song formula because it makes you groove right away.
Venice Queen?
One of my favourite songs ever. Listened to it a few days ago for the first time on vinyl records and fell in love with RHCP again. Love is to love something and these guys commit to making music for many ages to enjoy. Even if you over 50 you can groove same with teens. I live RHCP.
Total One Hot Minute vibes. Love it. This band never ages.

@@sombra1111 True~especially this one is more delicate than I realized
I just love the fact that they really have gone back to their old school rap style. In today's music world, it's a breath of fresh air.
Funk, not rap.
I don't think there was a single breath taken.
Its litteraly nothing of a breath of fresh air lmao. But still good tho
Anthony killed it with the long flow and lyrics. So dope!

Great to have them back, that lick from Frusciante is pure Mothers Milk. We should be thankful they are still together, quit the whinging! They always put a smile on my face after 30yrs of listening to them

First listen disappointed. 2nd actually it ain't all bad. 3rd loving that groove!!! 🤩
Perfect example of how you can force yourself to like something you actually don't like, just because of contex. If this was not RHCP you might have never given it a second chance

Rhcp still got funk, both in music and the video! These new singles prove that rock isn't dead in 2022!
Love the Chilis but I'm sorry, rock barely has a pulse in today's music lol. The only band saving anything remotely close to rock right now is Turnstile and they're a hardcore band.

This is so funky and psychedelic. I’m so glad John is back and the RHCP are going back to their roots. 😍
Definitely getting some nostalgia feel from the style here.

I so much love John Frusciante. It was after his music that I started playing guitar, which is what I'm doing now. I love his work with peppers, solo albums, how he sing, solos, riffs and even more his live solo concerts. One of my favorite musicians at the moment, to whom I owe a lot of my versatility in music.
