My friends and I picked up instruments in high school and started a band; I got a guitar. A month later Californication came out and I ended up listening to all RHCP I could. Shortly after, I traded my guitar to my friend for his bass. Flea's an inspiration.

I agree. Flea has a solid bassline. Johns guitar is starkly melodic while chads blasting drumbeats fill the tempo. However anthonys lyrics tie up the song just nicely perfect.

It’s really hard to pick my favorite. This track, She’s a lover, aquatic mouth dance, it’s only natural, one way traffic, heavy wing, and white braids and a pillow chair have been on repeat. F the critics. This album is art and expression at its highest level. You’ve got to be miserable and impossible to please if you don’t like this album. Something might be wrong with them mentally...and I feel bad for those type of people.
