I did the same speaker replacement. I was very pleased with the simply installation and the quality of the speakers.
Thanks for the great video. Took me about 20 minutes to swap mine out of my '91 SE. Cheers!
I can imagine you were slightly disappointed someone ditched the stock enclosures. Hope you can replace that
i was thinkking to myself that "miataman" was a good name a yt channel or something but you took it lol. its a good name.
O YEA RIGHT!
would you be able to show a radiator replacement or have any good resources?
This question is not to the speaker instal but rather to the stabilizer bar I see in the video. I think that’s what it’s called. Is there a video for installing this? Any info you have re part number install would be great. Thanks
The interior stabilizer/torsion bar was standard equipment on Miatas from 1984-1997. It can be retrofitted to the earlier cars with minor modifications.
There is also an aftermarket version that uses the seatbelt bolts to attach.
I’m not sure if it is still available though.
Great video! I have been scared to take this on... now a little embarrassed about waiting so long : ). Would you share where you found the replacement speakers?
Here’s a link to 3rd Millennium’s website: 3maudio.com/
Do the oem speakers really sound good? All my speakers in my 95 need to be replaced and I want a really good sound system
If you like it loud and want lots of power, run some good 3.5” in the head rests.
I would also recommend running new speaker wires to the head unit if you are going aftermarket.
Hey guys how are you? Somebody can to tell me where can I find those speakers? I want to change the old speakers on my Miata. Thanks for your help
