It's great that you have success with this treatment. However you had to go the Mexico - not the USA to get it. There are stem cell therapies in our community, BUT health insurance does NOT pay for these procedures. YOU are now in a great position to fight for the folks who can not afford to pay out of pocket for stem cell therapy and advocate for the healthcare system to cover these treatments with medicare and other health insurances. It has been said that BIG Pharma will fight this not to be covered. Please use your influence to help insurances, FDA and CDC to accept this treatment and pay for it. Thanks

Yes, stem cell therapy is available - in a pretty limited capacity - in the USA. It is very tightly regulated and there are not a lot of treatment options (when compared to other countries). The problem is that stem cell research and therapeutic application was limited for so long in the USA that the whole country fell behind the power curve. While that was going on countries throughout Latin America were using and advancing these kinds of treatments.

i have done several types of stem cell treatments, (my own blood stem cells, my own bone marrow cells, umbilical cells and placental cells), in my spine and hips. as a 60 year old former body builder , i can tell you it worked every time and i am back in the gym after not being able to work out at all. my L5-S1, hips and cervical spine have all been treated and my xrays confirmed the results of all the procedures. i also have used stem cells in my face to improve the elasticity and reduce wrinkles that also worked very well as witnessed by my before and after photos.

I had my entire spine done at Dream Body clinic in mid December 2023 and like you I didn't have any real pain going into the treatment I was looking to better my spine by decreasing arthritis bulging discs and one herniated disc in the neck. Now I'm interested enough to get another MRI like you in 6 months and see how that herniated disc in my neck looks. Thanks for posting your amazing results.

I had a pre-treatment MRI and a follow-up 6 months later. But, I have not had any more imaging. My spondy was originally diagnosed in 2003, and since it was not present in either of my MRIs 20 years later - it's quite reasonable to conclude that the segment is stable.

Nice video, and congratulations on your recovery. May I ask if the stem cells were put into the muscles around the spine or the facet joints? I was told that injections into muscles around the lower spine are also effective.

Thank you for posting. I may be going to Dream Body clinic in a month for shoulder. Someone ran into me on a skiing hill from behind and destroyed my shoulder. Regarding this particular video, I send it to a good friend of mine and here is his reaction: "I watched all of these videos. The before and after is misleading🤣 Of course only a Radiologist would be able to know. They are fooling the people as these are sagittal images of the lower lumbar spine. However, they are not comparing image to image. The before is a cut through the lumbar spine sagittally just off center. Where the after image is midline. You cannot compare these and make accurate comparable measurements🤣 I have probably read 100,000 MRIs. This guy has been fooled to think there's a change in degeneration. There is no change from before and after. IV and low back intramuscular mesenchymal stem cell injection is questionable. This case proves it. However, I would be interested in seeing a before and after with the injection being performed directly into the degenerated disc. That would be interesting to see. I do feel that the therapy could be helpful for direct injection into a shoulder or knee joint. It would also be interesting to see before and after images."

Regarding your friend's comment -
The slices from the before and after MRIs were not an exact match. Those two MRIs were taken 6 months apart - I'm sure that he/she knows how difficult it is to get identical imaging in subsequent studies. However, I did my absolute best to select the two slices that line up the best (btw both of the images are exactly 1 cut off midline) - this is evident by the tissues that are in focus and those that are out of focus.
It's also interesting to me that he/she simultaneously claims that these two images cannot be used to make "accurate comparable measurements "and yet this person emphatically states "that there is no change from before and after".
So, by his/her logic, I can't use the images to say that there was a change - but somehow they can use them to that there wasn't. That seems strange to me.
@@painfixprotocol : First of all, I am not a physician, I am software developer. I do have several friends who are physicians (different specialties), so when I am in doubt, I ask for their assistance. This was one of these cases - this video made sense to me, so I asked my friend if it actually made sense to him and I quoted here his reply verbatim. I completely agree with you, that even if slices are different distance off-center, we cannot conclude that they prove something - we can only conclude that they don't prove the success of the treatment. The rest I cannot judge since I don't have any expertise in reading MRIs. I was hoping you would reply to clarify this for me, since you've got a lot of great videos including very unique interviews with Josh about stem cell therapy that I am interested in due to a skiing accident 4 months ago and you come across as an honest individual who is not afraid to ask some tough questions and not pushing any hidden agenda. There is a lot of misinformation about this treatment including using some very well known athletes (sort of "I had a completely torn rotator calf tendon, did one treatment with stem cells and 2 weeks later MRI showed that my ripped tendon was completely healed"). It is very unfortunate, since it is giving bad name to very promising field of medicine. Please do not take it personally - you are doing a ton for this community, the amount of likes under your videos are a proof to it and I personally am very grateful to you for everything you do.

Hi, can you check if there is any difference in disc height of not treated discs?
Sounds like something I might be interested in . I got lami's from L1-L5 . And don't have pain but have DDD in those lower lumbar levels and have constant tingling all over from my waist down. And numbness in random places . Especially my feet . I do decompression twice a month . Does help a little
Be sure to consult with 2 or 3 reputable clinics and speak to experts. It's possible that this type of treatment could be very beneficial for your situation.
yes I'd like to see completed video details about recovery, my specific most troublesome issue is shoulders, i have been dealing with discomfort and pain for about 10 years only to find recently 2 torn rotator cuff partial tears. so being a person to look for a natural way i am looking into stem cell for a cure.

@@painfixprotocol i think we will know in time to come but discogenics is another cell therepy which proposes that it might grow disc height and hydrates it. They are in clinical trials stages before commercial approval by FDA. Clearly, there is something to this. Furthermore, PRP injection shot seems to heal annular tears faster as well vs body’s own time duration to heal it based on my research:
Obviously resorption or protruded out NP got dissolved and you gained more NP into your disc, but did they ever mention about annular tear healing or toughening up from pre-injection date?
Because joints are all about stiffness, the stiffer the joint in body while allowing full mobility, the better the result is of the operation.
Regardless it’s an amazing result that conventional methods cannot do.

Hi Yoni, I’m a 23 year old power lifter with lower back pain and sciatica like symptoms. After doing an X-ray with an orthopedic surgeon, he pointed out I had loss of disc height on my L5-S1 IVD, which matches my pain symptoms and points to a possible herniation. He told me recovery of disc height is not possible and all clinical studies and papers I’ve looked over back up that statement. Did you take the MRI during the same time of day as the pre treatment MRI? I am considering this type of treatment and would like to know your thoughts, thanks.
It's a good question, Joe.
Yes. My MRIs were taken at the same time of day. Keep in mind, that I have done a comprehensive rehab program - including therapeutic exercise, nutrition/supplementation, light therapy, and activity modification - in addition to my stem cell therapy. I did and continue to do everything I can to maximize my results.
You're a young guy and so your prospects for recovery a likely pretty good. But as a power lifter, you will have some difficult questions questions to wrestle with - like: What's the most important thing to you? What do you want your future to look like in terms of your physical abilities? What are you willing to do restore and maintain your spinal health?

What was the strength of the MRI magnet in the pre and post? The post looks sharper like it was a 3T magnet while the pre looked a little more grainy (1.5 T). Just trying to compare apples to apples! Thanks
Both MRIs were taken using the same machine - it's 1.5 T.
Some slices in both studies were sharper than others. Perhaps I moved a little.

Thanks Nolan! The injections I received were intramuscular. To my knowledge, intradiscal injections are only performed under general anesthesia.
@@painfixprotocol that's amazing results especially without the cells going into the disc or epidural space. I got intradiscal and epidural stem cells and didn't make any progress. My disc space is very short so the bulge doesn't have much room to retract back in. I tried the DRX9000 decompression table but that seemed to make it worse like your lumbar traction machine.

Thanks for asking! That's exactly what I wanted to see and a big part of the reason I went for the follow-up MRI. My discs gained some height but I'm not sure if it was due to rehydration or a side effect of reducing the size of the disc bulges. @painfixprotocol Are you aware of discgenics? I'm quite a bit younger than you and also have a dics that shows up black on an mri. I'm hopeful that what this company is doing, or something similar will provide a solution in the next 10 years or so.
Tony Robbins had STEM cell therapy on his shoulder and the results were amazing for him. Tony Robbins wrote a book called "Life Force" that goes into more detail about all the new therapies available.

Would stem cell therapy be successful for someone who has already been fused? I have had 5 lumbar surgeries and am currently fused from L2-S1. Additionally I have large screws that go from the spinal rods to my SI hip joints to stabilize the rods.
It's hard to say, Jennifer. Stem cell therapy is not a cure-all. There are things it can help with and things it can't. In this case, it would depend on what you're looking to accomplish.
My suggestion would be to reach out to Dream Body Clinic and one or two other reputable clinics speak to the experts and see what they have to say about treating people post-spinal fusion.
Have you been able to reach out to them? I'm curious as well. I had a Harrington rod put in back in 82.

Good question. I'm not sure if stem cells have been shown to be effective for stenosis. There was an announcement for a study on this topic last year, but to my knowledge, the results have not been published yet. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36731929/
Can you treat spinal code injuries? Ten years ago, I got cervical spine and lumbar spine features. I have a disability in legs and one hand. Also I have pain a hand and two legs.

You’ve only demonstrated how different parasagital cuts on MRIs change the appearance of the central space.
Thanks for commenting. You are correct that different cuts offer different views. The two MRIs were taken 6 months apart and the cuts are not identical - I'm sure that you can understand that for a short video, it's not feasible to go through every cut from both studies. I specifically chose the cuts that had the greatest degree of overlap (as you can see from the appearance of the vertebral bodies, spinous processes and surrounding soft tissue). I could see someone making an argument that there's a certain margin of error in the measurements however, as a clinician, it would be pretty difficult to deny the change that took place in the size of the indentation into the thecal sac.

I have the same question. And, if you have to fly there and stay at a hotel for a week and then go back for a follow-up, the total cost, including the $7500 stem cell fee, is probably over $10K. Why not have this done in the U.S.?
You can’t get that amount of stem cells in the US
All depends on how you want to stay in Mexico Airbnb can be below 100$ a night for a small apartment with room for two or four people
You can of course get a hotel with all inclusive for 300$ or more per night per person but if you on a normal budget

Good question. The type of treatment I received (with 200 million MSCs) is not available in the US. It's not possible to get anywhere near that amount of mesenchymal stem cells in a single treatment. Plus the source of the stem cells in the US are typically more invasive (bone marrow aspiration or liposuction) and uncomfortable. Also, average treatment cost in the US is 3-4 times higher.

That is correct. But also the cost of the treatment itself tends to be significantly less in Latin American than in the US. And you can get a much larger dose of MSCs in a single treatment.

I had #2 complete Stem cell treatments about 1 year apart in Puerto Villarta at a clinic called "RenewIV Bar". I split both my treatments (into 4 sessions) over about a year at a cost between 4-5 thousand US dollars. I had a serious back injury and it has helped about 90 percent so far. I had injections over my entire spine and I split my back injections with an IV to help my brain and body. I also got incredible relief with my ADHD and Asperger Symptoms which even enhanced my artist gift symptoms. Kind of a brain enhancement. What I am sharing is I got results with a fraction of the dose that Dr Yoni experienced..... Also I am convinced that a large dose is OK Now (Thanks Doctor) ......
My reason to respond is I wanted to let you know that your dose can be as large as you want and the dose is based on weight. I am sure in PV you can get your daughter a dose that is effective depending on her weight for $500 - $1,000 US if she is a child. (She likely has a lot of her stem cells so get good advise from a Mexican doctor in the field).
Due to my budget, I had the option of doing less cells in my back, and have some in an IV for my brain and body, I chose to split it up for my back and brain. The stem cells basically start splitting cells which is growth and healing... regardless of the dose. I like to look at it this way . We were born with millions of stem cells that start in the womb before birth. The stems cells make all our organs grow by splitting which creates growth. After being born our stem cells continue to develop our organs, including the brain, and this growth will continue to the age of about 20 years and we will have used up 95% of our cells by this age. The last 5% is that we have left is to continue our organ maintenance. When we run out of stem cells our organs becomes vulnerable to healing (slitting cells) and we die. If we take care of our original stem cells with less stress and healthy food, we can live over 100 years. Now we can also help our bodies with stem cell therapy.
Warning: It is not legal to acquire a complete Stem cell dose by a USA doctor. They can get thousands of cells, a normal dose is in the millions. So as much as they want to help, they can't.
Most advanced countries that use western medicine are against Legal stem cell therapy.
