    Kudos to you for delving much deeper into coffee & caffeine effects on the body! I began watching the scientific literature on coffee effects in the 1980s, as a grad student. The studies have indeed been all over the map (great for the body - no, bad for the body, etc.). Looking at the effects on acute & chronic pain levels is such an informative way to evaluate the consequences. My nervous system can only handle 1 cup of coffee (and virtually NO other caffeine sources) per day anyway. It's great to know I'm not increasing body pain while I enjoy the mood-elevating effects of coffee each morning. Thank you so much! Namaste

      So I should go cold turkey for a month and decide if coffee is the culprit.

    Great stuff Yoni!
    The missing component to these studies though is the state of the gut lining of each of the participants in pain. Our ability to make the best of consumptions always goes back to the gut lining. I was biologically forced to quit caffeine for years when my stomach lining was compromised from drinking excess amounts of locally grown coffee beans which were exposed to the toxins mentioned, predominately mold. In response to this, my body became sensitive to caffeine. As an acute to chronic pain sufferer, consuming coffee in moderation requires days of going without it, for regulating friendly bacteria, hormones and allergens, the huge part of the fundamental factors of pain management aside from this study. Great research... Thank you!!

    Thank you this was very interesting and informative. i am always amused by mainstream medias alternating reports, year on year off that coffee is good for us, then it is bad for us. None of them ever bother to say why/why not. I often wonder if the money I spend on my organic mycotoxin free coffee beans is worth it, but I guess I'd rather it be worth it than find out in years to come that the alternative pesticide and mold ridden beans were silently contributing to sneaky health issues.

      You're very welcome, Triza! I agree with you, the "why" is often the most important part.

    This is assuming you WANT to 'numb' your nervous system. This just delays the inevitable need to release the pain thereby accumulating it for a future time putting it into the chronic category. I would rather release the pain now by 'feeling' through it. I find mindfulness, meditation, prayer, and the like to be more effective in releasing this pain, decreasing it's accumulation. Wishing you well & a peaceful life.

      Thanks for commenting! I'm a big fan of mindfulness, meditation and prayer. But, they work via a completely different mechanism. And because pain is such a complex thing to work with, I like to have as many tools as possible to draw upon when working with different pain conditions.

    Can you make a video to fix this problem for me?
    My right shoulder is 10 times more tense then my left one and its gotten the point where i wanna tilt my body if i want to feel *equal*
    My right shoulder feels heavier,feels tenser and has less mobility than my left one

      Without an examination it's difficult to say what's causing your symptoms. However, I have an entire playlist dedicated to the shoulder and there may be something in there that would be helpful for you - czcams.com/play/PL1rO7vW04HUBscJklj1g7Ji-gz8a1Dllu.html

    Curious as to what size coffee cups you are talking about? I guess what I mean is how many ounces are in 2 mugs, 16oz?

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  Před měsícem +1

      Good question! In the U.S. the standard size for hot beverages (like coffee) served in a mug is 6oz.
      This size may vary from one country to the next.
