    It amazes me how the human body, is so much smarter than the humans that inhabit them.
    As I am about to start my 66th year, I appreciate how many (inner) wrinkles I've managed to iron out before they became completely unmanageable, allowing me to become healthier each and every year.
    Thank you for all that you do... showing and educating us on the rest buttons.

    I would like to see exercises to help with a swollen knee that I twisted while I was getting out of a car. An X-ray reveals no broken bones, and I can do most activities pain-free, but I can’t do the child’s pose. I had fluid removed one time, and it came back very quickly. I was told I have osteoarthritis, but if there were exercises to help with this problem, I would be very disciplined about doing them. (I’ve done some exercises to help with a meniscus tear and while I was able to do them with no trouble at all, the knee swelling persists. I welcome your help.

    Thanks so much. These are great! Question: I yanked one of my toes pretty hard a few years ago and there is a wider than normal space between it and the next toe. Is there anything I can do to restore/rehab the area?

    You didn't mention pelvic prolapse as one of the pelvic floor dysfunctions. It is not curble, but can be managed very well. Partly a postural issue.

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  Před 4 měsíci

      Pelvic organ prolapse is a complex topic. The presentation (symptoms) can vary depending which organ(s) are affected. There are many different causes and the treatment will depend on what caused issue in the first place.

    what you reckon psychosomatic effect of closed palm? There's a saying not to trust people who walk with closed palms, as they tend to be liars and withholding.
    back pain, constipation: yeah these all disappeared when I started working with my pelvic floor , originally with yoga, but then semen retention.
    then i had a car crash and a year later got an inguinal hernia. I sometimes wonder if I got that from clenching teh pelvic floor too much, psoas imbalance, BUT im still learning about fascia, connective tissues and musculature, os i'll prob neg that.

    You need to address the issue of possible pelvic floor weakness or damage, which leads to POP (I've forgotten the words!) in women, where the organs protrude due to weakness there. And what about bunions? The foot muscles seem to be overstretched already.

    • @painfixprotocol
      @painfixprotocol  Před 4 měsíci

      You're absolutely right, Connie. Pelvic floor dysfunction is a complicated subject and there is not a one size fits all solution. I have several videos on that topic including this one that does a deep dive - czcams.com/video/Yle5i4ViTKs/video.html
      And for bunions, I would recommend watching this - czcams.com/video/NJHc2GVy2aI/video.html

      It's prolapse. The Cooch ball should work on that as well (2nd exercise of the video). My friend has prolapse as well, she started to use the Cooch ball, 3 minutes per day when she wakes up (as the organs are still on place after sleeping). She reported major improvements using the ball after 2 months, now she has more good days than bad ones (incontinence improved and there are already days when the organs stay in place). This ball has special material, a simple ball will not work the same as the Cooch ball.

    For 2024... I have heard you speak of "watching a show" with your wife in your interview with Dr. Chestnut. Given that Americans sit way too much (I am sure you do not!) I am curious if there is a certain type of furniture you recommend, or maybe a certain way of sitting, when you are relaxing for possibly as long as a show or movie? Also, do you have a max amount of time that you recommend in a given day for that sort of sitting? I am currently working to not sit too much in my occupation, but sometimes would like to also relax a while away from the computer before bed and watch a little entertainment.
