That's cool Dave. I'm glad you are feeling better.
Very cool Dave. Looks great
Good to see ya back Dave!
Turned out great Dave!
Nice video Dave glad you’re back on the mend!
Love seeing that rotary in action!
Thanks for watching Solar Man. I really appreciate it.
Thanks Dave. Nice video.
Great video Dave..you inspired me to get a 4th axis and try this....thank you...and stay healthy
Glad to see you are back in the shop. Sometime I need to get a rotary for my Gatton CNC.
You should! Thanks for watching.
Gracias por su trabajo y su video.
Thanks Dave the rotary axes opens up alot of new possibilities and a lot of creative fun hope to have one someday on the longmill.
Thanks for taking the time to watch my video Rodney. I appreciate it. You are correct. A rotary axis for a CNC does open up some new doors.
Theyre Launching the Vortex Rotary Axis for the Longmill in August!
Always appreciate Your videos. Rotary is cool. Glad Your Doing So Well.
Thanks very much for watching Robert.
Nice chess piece! I will add it to the list to make with my cnc lathe...
Dave that was great to watch. I would like to have a rotary axis one day. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching Larry. A rotary axis is a lot of fun.
Great video Dave. It's nice to see a "normal" rotary in a action.
I didn't think you knew what a "normal" rotary looked like. 😀 Thanks for watching Rob.
Thanks, Dave, fur bringing the rotary axis to the surface for me. Perhaps a discussion of what you had to do to the Thingiverse model would make a nice video? I'm looking forward to your video on The Dave Gatton Coffee Sessions On June 1. Welcome back.
Great to see you back at it. If you had a regular lathe, you could part off the bottom that way. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Grant. I do have a regular lathe but I didn't think to use it.
Cool Video Dave, thinking about adding a rotary to my setup.
Thanks for watching. You won't regret adding a rotary setup. 😉
Hi Dave thats real cool I must make a rotory attachment for my cnc
Thanks for watching Bob. A rotary axis is a lot of fun.
nice job
Thanks Dave, Just the size of pieces I was looking for, my son made a chess board coffee table for his high school woodwork project , takes two people to lift it, I now have to make the chess pieces.
Great video Dave. I have tried a similar project & like you I found the cnc was going too far to the right & leaving a very thin piece
that could break off. How did you modify your design, by altering the G code ? I am using Vectric Aspire. Any help will be appreciated
How did it take for this piece?
After watching your video I now want a rotary axis but building the house comes first.
Thank you very much for watching Richard. I appreciate it.
Sorry to here about your heart attack. Know how you feel, I had three and three stent surgery last year to fix the blockages.
Thanks for sharing your work. Question, I noticed you made the chest piece rather large, are you going to scale it down for a chess set?
why allways the long side, why not just around and down the wood?
I've done it both ways and this way is my preferred method and it's usually much faster than the other way.
@@DaveGatton i noticed with ur chess horse, after i saw some of ur videoes, i just orderd the 4th axis today, i hope it will be fun :)
