I hope that you dont lose motivation on this series. It is easy for me though to mod the game how I want it to be and barely even play it. Its like I just like the process of modding. So keep up the series!

My aim is to allow people to learn how to mod from start to finish and then attempt it themselves. The problem is, there are many areas that aren't as interesting as others. Most channels simply skip over these because they won't do as well as exciting areas, but for me, I feel it would be a disservice to skip areas that don't "attract a large audience". I owe it to myself to stay true to my aim and create a guide to help and not to grow. But it can take a hit as they're harder to write in a way that is even somewhat entertaining.
I agree with your point, I only 'play' to get the footage now anyway but I remember I'd spend more time modding than playing aha. I really appreciate your motivation and support thank you so much. Honestly, it means everything to me and really does keep me going. I'm forever grateful for that.

+1: I really need a current guide, I think I just wrecked my update.esm file trying to remove a wild edit from Apocalypse with Quick Clean. I feel like I’m wandering around a dark room and repeatedly barking my shins.

Thank you for this guide. I have watched every episode of these series. I played the game back when it first came out and recently got back into it after being underwhelmed by StarField. I just started modding the game back in December after the surprise update and feel like I was just fumbling a lot. When I heard there was another update coming, I switched to FO4. After my game wouldn’t save with a level 90 character, I rebuilt my mod list for that game, but was dealing with a lot of CTD and game freezes that I couldn’t figure out, so I came back to Skyrim. I decided to build a new mod list this time around and had been watching the first parts of this series, so when I started friday afternoon, I started the series over again.

  • @heckingbamboozled8097

Ey you also made an SSEEdit video! Nice! I looked up "SSEEdit tutorial 2024" and clicked this without even realizing I had also watched your How to use MO2 Tutorial. You're very good at leading people along through instruction. I didn't just get a basic modlist set up, I actually LEARNED how to mod. My list is almost over 200 now, and it's all thanks to your videos

I'm honored! Welcome back! I'm glad I've been able to help and it's truly awesome to hear I've been able to actually help learning how it's all done and not just providing the steps as you'll be much more prepared that way! Means alot to have your support I'm forever grateful.

Hello friend, thank you for your modification guide. I really spent days trying to modify my Skyrim, and it wasn't until I saw your guide that I learned to modify my game correctly. Thank you very much. I wanted to ask if you're planning to make a guide in the future for adding physics to the game. It's the only thing I can't do without crashing the game 🙃🙃

Decent, thanks for these videos, they are amazingly clear and easy to follow. I’ve just reached the point in my modding journey where sseedit becomes necessary, and I’m excited to watch you explain sseedit in greater detail. I’m looking forward to the day when I’m able to create my own mods, and I’m thinking you might be the guy I give credit to for teaching me how to do it.

This series has saved me many headaches. I don’t know if you plan to do it but it would be cool to see how to fit in a mod to vault over stuff or a mod to change how the fast travel map looks or how the compass looks.

    • @ADHDecent
      @ADHDecent  Před 18 dny

There are world map mods that will be mentioned in my own suggestions at the end of the series. I know there are compass ones too which I believe are straight forward enough. Appreciate the support and glad I could help!

Recently switched over to my dream PC, and had to start modding Skyrim from scratch for the 4th time. Your guide has been super helpful, even for someone who has modding experience you've shown great tips and tricks to make the process a lot faster and easier.
Do you plan to go over Bodyslide and Bethini as well in future episodes?

Amazing news! Glad to be able to help. I appreciate your kind words. They're a possible entry for this guide but may come after the guide I'm unsure yet as I don't want the guide to stop people from attempting their own builds see. Finding the sweet spot is hard aha

Thank you for the series! I recently got back to modding after a storage upgrade and stumbled upon your guide. While at first I found it weird that we installed things and ended up removing some of them (like the ENB one), I now understand more and feel more comfortable poking with the files so thank you. Just wanted to ask if you have tips on merging esps and dealing with the esp limit? Now that I've downloaded all the mods I wanted, I'm now facing this problem lol. Thank you again!

Question; so I’m about to basically re-do my Skyrim mods, and restart my game, from scratch thanks to your series. However, I wanted to know if , when I’m done with the current list you have now, I will be able to keep my game save?
As in, by the time you upload something new, I will probably be a few levels up and have items that I don’t want to start over again. Or will my modding journey end here, because the incoming additions would ruin my save file?
Thanks again! P.s: is USSEP mandatory too? Or can you do without it for your list? Love your series man!!!

Very good video, but I have a problem and that is that I play Skyrim SE from the Xbox Game pass APP and apparently when I install the xEdit it does not recognize that the file Skyrim.ini exists even if I extract it in the same location. Is there any other program to remove harmful plugins?
PD: The Mod Organizer 2 also doesn't recognize the Xbox APP as a gaming platform for modding. I use Vortex
