Right on
Excellent idea! Thanks for the video.
Glad you liked it!
Cool idea there Young Man 😎
Bob you always have good info. Thats a great ideal I have thinking about starting to buy carb and brake cleaner by the gallon or 5 gallon can myself. Thanks for sharing buddy!!
Glad to help
Nice one, Bob....not that all the others aren't....and, as usual...THANKS!
If you don't have a Schrader valve tool, a little tip is to pick up a bottle of "Green Slime" which is useful for adding to problem tires on riding lawnmowers, quads, and even old work trucks. The cap of the container is a Schrader tool...
Keep us posted. When it's correctly modded. I like to buy one.. Thanks
good idea
Many many thanks
Fantastic
Thanks
Nice
You could solder a different nozzle on your sure shot and make it spray more forcefully.
No solder necessary, just take the diffuser out of the center of the tip of the nozzle. It'll spray 20 ft easy. I use one in an industrial environment daily.
I seen your home made refillable can but wasn't sure exactly how you did it thanks for sharing with us how you did it that is a very neat idea and would save a lot of money. Keep it up with the great videos thanks again 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for the info, great video. I think I will be making 3 cans, 1 for wd40, 1 for brake cleaner and 1 for carb cleaner. Question: how much air do you put in the cans?
Sounds great! Put about 90Psi
Very feasible Tip. Thnx Dbl-6 ! I've not tryed to solder anything yet , but will work at it & give this a try. Could be used for MANY of our DIY shop Aerosols.
Glad it helped
How much air pressure?
From the looks of the can the top and bottom go through a closing machine aka seamer. Same machine they use to can vegetables. 😉😉
Thanks for sharing
How much air pressure did you use? I could see someone using 100+ pounds and being injured after the explosion!
5gal (640oz) bucket of standard crc brake clean is about $190
A 23oz can of standard crc brake clean is $6 at napa, and even at that price it's cheaper per ounce to just buy the can... if you bought 640oz in cans it would save you $25 which you could buy an extra 92oz of brake clean
I typically save the left over cans for when I need to soak parts with something stronger than diesel or gas, just cut the can open and good to go
Yes, I ordered from Autozone and Safety Kleen, prices just went up on Amazon.
I've taken a rubber tipped blow gun and repressurized cans that have lost their pressure before the product was used.
That is a good idea
@@doublewide6 I'm going to try my hand at making refillable spray cans like you shown in the video.

What psi do you pressurize the can to?
85psi is good.
While I can appreciate saving a buck and making something useful again this isn't an area I'd venture into. Plenty of safer reasonably priced options out there that work well.
Fair enough!
This is dumb and a waste of time & money for an inferior and dangerous solution. Harbor freight sells a refillable aerosol can for $7 (less than the cost of the fittings shown here). Or you can get an even better quart size version on amazon that will last a few lifetimes for $30.
Then stop wasting money on brake cleaner and just buy acetone by the gallon. Brake cleaner is 90% acetone at 2x-3x the price.
Absolutely!!!!! This man has NO clue of the danger involved here and then to show how to unknowing people.
