I’m having the same problem with mine. It will start and run for a while then dies after mowing for a bit. I have replaced the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, two gas lines, carb, fuel pump, cleaned gas tank, but still having this problem. I don’t know what to do at this point.

thanks gonna go try this now. upper and middle ring are free but the oil ring is carboned up. Have a like and a sub. :D

Thank you fantastic video now I know I'm not the only one who is struggling with this issue. I just cleaned a Briggs carburetor, and it runs fine once you start it, but it takes starting fluid to run it, so I'm going to go through the steps you went through.

Noticed the engine still wasn't running right after the fix, especially on startup?? . Hesitation, inconsistent RPM. Did the customer notice? Did it smooth out and never return?

How do You attach wire to fuel line?

Perfect 👍 I showed My Dad and we re-wired a mower from scratch with new relays,fuses and wiring. Not like a car schematic diagram where you need vision X 1000 to trace a wire that's the same colour as every other one on the page.

Question for you. I am curious about the cabinet spacing around your refrigerator. Someone mentioned that lack of airflow could be causing my problems but your set looks exactly like mine. Do you have any venting in the wall behind the refrigerator? Fortunately, I purchased a protection plan when I bought my refrigerator and of course my problems started just after the one year mark I have a technician coming on Monday so we will see what sort of a fix they make to mine.

FYI JB weld will also give you a strong and solid hold. You can find it at any locat auto parts store or Wal-Mart and it's not expensive.

Very nice repower there! The Kohler Commands are excellent engines. Most likely that Deere had a Briggs Intek that is a bad engine anyway; even if it did not self destruct. So now this tractor is better than factory new, enjoy!

I have the 2654 Husqvarna mower. There is two long on the air filter trying to find out where they tie into. Can you help me with that?

If my lawnmower disk rusted will it affect the spark

I have a Craftsman Lawnmower with a Kohler 149cc engine. We bought it around 10 years ago from Sears and (bite my tongue) but we have never had a issue with it. It sits outside year round in our Canadian arctic and hot summer months getting snowed and rained on each year. I just change the oil at the start of every spring, check and clean the spark plug if needed. Put a new air filter on it and ( i converted the fuel filter to a external one) check the fuel filter and it is good to go for the season. The only other thing I changed was a fuel line because we had a pesty mouse that likes the taste of rubber and gas. We had to give him a burial ( thank god) because the high octane gas was to much for him. The key to making it last year after year is a little maintenance and some high quality high octane gas. I will be giving this one to my son and getting myself a self propelled lawn mower for all out unlevel yard and older age lol. I will buy another Kohler engine lawnmower again.

I replaced the thermostat with one with a reset button, now it heats up quickly and pops the reset button. the thing has continuity through the two thermal fuses and the heating element shows 13ohms. the connects show 120v at 8a but heats to 169f and shuts down beeping three times. what do you think? chuck it? I would appreciate your take. model bvmc-ehx33bm-np.

the little pin mechanism on exhaust should face the engine.

the round thing on the exhaust is 90 degree off. unbolt it and turn it around.

When you opened the two valves from top. Were the 3 lines bottom open ?
