I could NOT agree with you MORE on Remo Williams. I was (and remain) convinced that the bullet dodging sequences in The Matrix AS WELL as the Chinese Master in Kill Bill 2 were inspired by this movie. I rather feel like Faster is the basis for Fast and Furious as well. You *might* be able to convince otherwise, but you'd better have an excellent argument.
And yeah I'd love the romp that Slamin' Salmon represents, and the original Adam West Batman movie is a romp as well. And I honestly enjoyed The Arrival and feel Hackers is a legitimate legend. OH Hero.. dude.. if you've never seen it, it's damned, I mean DAMNED, good. And the rest is a great list too.
Pumping Iron is a top flight doc, I honestly believe the arrival of Ferrigno marked Arnold's last year on the Universe circuit. He beat him in his FIRST year, then retired. I'm all over this.
OH and Ronin, my personal favorite car chase in any movie. Bullitt has sentimental value for me, but the one in Ronin is honestly better.
Ahh... Once again, you confirmed that we do share taste in movies.
I love Remo Williams... My favorite line... "Why do they call it fast food? Because it speeds you on the way to the grave"... Classic. Batman is campy and a lot of fun. I grew up with the TV series and remember when that movie came out. Funny that you mentioned Clue. I just watched it less than a month ago on Vudu. I am offended that you failed to mention the BEST thing about The Island. Scarlett Johansson... LOL The storyline was interesting too...
Some of the others in your picks that I also enjoyed were Faster, The Arrival, Hackers, Reign of Fire, The Illusionist, A Most Wanted Man, Hero, and Ronin (Love Reign, Hackers and Ronin actually).
A few that you didn't mention that I also enjoyed that are also available on CZcams are the original "Walking Tall" with Joe Don Baker, "The Killer Elite" with James Caan and Robert Duvall, "It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World" which is silly, 60's, slap-stick humor with a great cast and inspired the 2001 movie "Rat Race". "Scrooged" which is, in addition to "Lethal Weapon" and the first "Die Hard", one of my favorite Christmas movies. And finally, the original 1987 "Robocop". But to be fair, I think you did mention it in another recent video.

I tried to stick to mostly underrated/lesser known, so I left something like men in tights out. Tho it could probably just as easily replace scrooged on the list. Both are kinda underrated/cult classics.
I definitely second the arrival, rescue dawn, hackers and clue. love those movies.
Clue is a huge fave of mine. I watch it at least once a year. The cast is untouchable, and the comedic timing of the dialogue is like music to me.

Frozen is SO GOOD. Watched it multiple times. Amazing film.
Although I always preferred The Illusionist to the gimmicky The Prestige, I want to thank you for trying to correct the common misperception that Adam West's Batman, like the series behind it, is anything but over the top, genius camp. Regarding the rest of the films you've listed that I've caught, I can only whole-heartedly second your recommendations. Thanks for your great work.
DVD, Batman is definitely a comedy. Very self aware as Adam West practically winks at the viewer. Campy good fun. I'm old, my nick name is dirt, no, not as in Joe but as in as old as...loved that show as a kid. Even had a Batman watch, so pissed I didn't hang on to that thing. $$ Love what you do
Two great movies I recently (about a week ago) re-watched, here on CZcams, were the old Henry Fonda version of "12 Angry Men," As well as the more recent version. I love both of them, and really can't choose a favorite of the two.

Just saw “Old Henry” on a Delta flight to LA and loved it. In what feels like a true to life western Old Henry delivers with a wonderful historic twist at the end.

I recently watched on YT and highly recommend Blue Knight, a 3 hour TV movie from 1973; starring William Holden, Lee Remick, Sam Elliot and watch out for Anne Archer in an early role. When I watched there was not a single advert during this movie, an added bonus, YMMV.

The most amazing tidbit about Remo Williams is that the old Korean ninjutsu master Chiun, is played by a white guy named Joel Grey. Amazing makeup effect for 1985.

Great list - definitely checking out the movie poster doc. LOVE Rescue Dawn, and really recommend the doc it was based on called 'Little Dieter Needs to Fly.' Awesomely, both films are directed by the amazing Wernor Herzog.

I feel that hero is more like house of flying daggers, however I get reference to crouching tiger hidden dragon and both must watch movies in my opinion.
I really dig about a third of your recommendations. Frozen (this one, not Disney), Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, Batman (66) [The Bright Knight himself Adam West is the best Batman ever], The Arrival, Ronin, Hackers and Clue: The Movie are all great.
How great is Clue? I first saw it on Comedy Central, even before HBO, and I loved it. I do think that the makers should have put all 3 endings in all of the copies, switching up the order.
The 60s Batman was ALWAYS supposed to be comedy. NONE of the hate is deserved.
The Arrival is at the end of the era of Charlie Sheen's best work, including Terminal Velocity, The Chase, No Man's Land,Shadow Conspiracy and Beyond The Law.
The Island isn't bad either.
Btw, Dead Snow 2: Red vs Dead is still free on CZcams, last I checked today.
Clue is definitely of my favorites!!! And my kids love it now. My daughter insisted they watch it at her birthday sleepover lol.
Clue is one of my favorite movies! I remember seeing that in the theater when I was 10.
Real Steel isn’t an Over The Top remake. It was based on a 1950’s Richard Matheson story called “Steel”. It was turned into a Twilight Zone episode in the 60’s. Matheson also wrote I Am Legend, Hell House, What Dreams May Come, A Stir of Echos, and a bunch of everyone’s favorite Twilight Zone episodes, such as “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” and “Third From the Sun”. 😎👍

You didn't mention the British film "Cosmos". Slow burn but what a great sci fi film! I really loved it.
THE SLIPPER AND THE ROSE. Beautifully produced Cinderella with young Richard Chamberlain as the prince. Wonderful songs, dances, scenery, actors. A perfect family movie.

That Axel Dumping Clinic that Jordan and Lincoln put on on that Freeway is One of the BEST Action Sequences EVER (in my opinion, i suppose)

Every time you do one of these lists there seems to be one or two movies you catch that impresses me or one or two movies that you select based on the title of your list. Frozen is a fantastic movie. I probably watched it four or five times now, it's not exciting enough for a lot of people because of the limited cast and locations, but I personally can really appreciate something like this. A movie that can build and create that kind of tension with only three cast members and a chairlift! Anybody watching this video, cast that thing to your TV some night and turn the lights down especially if it's snowy where you live!

Off topic, but I have to say: THANKS FOR RECOMMENDING MR. INBETWEEN! Awesome show! Just finished binging it. Fast moving, 1/2 hour eps, great overall story, even a good ending. I'll be looking for anything else from Scott Ryan - best TV show find in years.

Remo williams! Another good catch, very underrated movie from the '80s. Fred Ward is one of my favorite character actors and he's given the rare chance to lead a film here. Action/comedy/adventure isn't necessarily that common of a genre, and absent the big stars, this little gem from the '80s has definitely been forgotten over the years.
Agreed, I always wished they made sequels. It is based on The Destroyer novel series (now over 150 books). Perhaps could be adapted into a tv series in the future.
Fred Ward was also great in a film with alec baldwin called Miami Blues from 1990

Appreciate the videos you make. Unfortunately, for this one, I gave up when the first 4 links I tried proved to be geoblocked unavailable in UK or simply 'private' and unavailable. Pity! There are of course quite a few half decent free movie channels on here.... just takes a while sorting the wheat from the chaff

*Over The Top* is awesome and arm wrestling is actually becoming very popular. It used to be a fringe sport but guys like Devon Larrat, Larry Wheels, John Brzenk etc are definitely blowing it up and bringing more eyes to the sport. Watch this movie and look into arm wrestling! Get hooked!
Hey D.V.D as a film buff you may know but i had to say if you dont know about "little Dieter needs to fly" its the werner herzog movie that rescue dawn is based on. its tremendous you need to watch that. it will put rescue dawn into perspective

Awesome and amazing attitude
I was hoping to see Popeye, with Robin Williams and Shelly Duvall. It’s a great movie, especially if you ever enjoyed Popeye. I don’t think there’s another movie where two people brought such well known characters to life.
I never ever enjoyed Popeye but it was Robin Williams brilliant character study that made it completely fascinating -- like Jim Carey's The Grinch

People seem to like the Batman 66 these days. (Maybe I am missing something) I think people generally "came around" after a few decades. I think it's hilarious personally. I watched it again recently and laughed a lot "with it", "not at it".
