Haha as soon as I heard that I had to come to comments to see if anyone already realized. Dressing in that context is stuffing. Noway, nohow are they advertising salad dressing as part of a meal lmao. Today on the menu we are having bleached flour, egg, baking powder, milk, and pancakes.
"Dressing" also refers to what most of us call "stuffing." The way the menu is listed sounds like they got stuffing because they dont mention salad until the end of the list.
And there is nothing like a good stuffing in prison am I right or am I right...... punk tatooooooo........ never mind......

@@Nik-ko9eq I'm not sure on the technicalities of dressing/stuffing just that the two basically describe the same thing. Stove top calls their product "stuffing" and its not meant to be cooked in a turkey so who knows....
Nik - You can make stuffing/dressing aside from stuffing the cavity, which honestly I’ve never done before, I’ve always made it as a side dish separately.

I’m from Louisiana. We have the highest incarceration rate, in large part, because we have more for profit prisons here than anywhere else. Being for profit, you KNOW they ain’t tryin to spend any money on food.
You as a country have the most inmates. Its crazy. In my country the prisons are so empty we rent out cells to other countries😂 there is like 1 inmate for every 4 cells. I guess the humane approach we use is working like a charm.

Between the war on drugs, for profit prisons, and what amounts to legalized slavery, corporate America actually has a huge incentive to keep as many people locked up as it can and they lobby the Government to keep it that way. It’s super corrupt and disgusting.
@@Ivvyfay its pretty sad i think. First talking about freedom this and bold eagle that. Selling guns/booze and drugs availble everywhere and then just throwing everyone in prison. Then after prison (pun intended) they get a big marker placed upon them with red flags everywhere when it comes to getting a job and so on. So why the prison? If you are kept a criminal by your record what serves the sentence. I believe as soon as you complete your sentence you should be free of everything. You have payed your debt.
Darth Bane I 100% agree, but that doesn’t make our corporate overlords as much money unfortunately. If the people can get jobs, that means they will probably stop committing crimes, and that means the state isn’t paying the corporations to house and feed the person and allowing them to use that person as slave labor.

It always baffles me how people are treated so badly in the jail system when people in jail are, for the most part, pre-trial, unsentenced, and therefore innocent under the law

I spent 8 Christmas in fed jail. Every year In the cafeteria if you chose to eat there... the jail served turkey stuffing mashed potatoes 🥔 etc... but I lived in unit #9 also called China Town and for the most part we did our own cooking there.
I spent 7 in fed prison at Danbury when it was female's but the year I left, they were transferring the women out and making it back to the men's. We ate like kings and had a full length salad bar and homemade soup with our lunch every day. Freedom is so much better. I know u much be glad that your done.

Cornbread dressing is a type of stuffing (like you'd have at Thanksgiving) but made with cornbread and not made inside the bird. Whole kernel corn is just to let you know it's not creamed corn.

I had parents, a girl, and her grandma putting money on my books, I felt so bad for dudes with no commissary or visits, I’d throw them a candy bar or bag of chips. Being locked up especially in county sucks, not knowing your fate is bad enough, but no commissary and trying to live off them trays is inhumane...
