So far we used mountain bike DH forks. But as their name implies, they were designed to go Down Hill and are for mountain bikes. Au moins t’as roulé, t’as kiffé, tu profites, et la c’est le plus essentiel. Cyp s’est cassé le pied le week-end dernier au Kenny, alors il est privé de roulage pour quelques semaines 😬

I plan on getting either this fork of the fast ace as they're both made for the surron light bee. However, huge price difference.
These both were made for the e-motos. Though their price and the quality can't be compared. EXT is a high end racing fork and its performance and build quality reflect this. The Fast Ace is a real improvement over the stock suspensions but still needs to be prepared/rebuilt by a tuning specialist to really deliver good performance.

Quentin, please, can you tell me, why you and your brother (and most of the people:), choose Surron X instead Talaria? There are guys on FIM riding on Talaria?
I am wondering, because i want to choose, and Talaria has better engine (MX4), gearbox, which is less noisy, it has better swingarm etc But everyone ride on Surrons...

Thanks mate! It's a really good question, but the answer is really simple. When we started the Talaria simply didn't exist.
It's now sold globally and is a good challenger to the Surron. Personally, I prefer the Surron as it's lighter (bear in mind I'm 50kg) and is more manoeuvrable. This might also be a matter of habit. Cyprien mainly ride his ultra bee now though as it's the bike that suits him best.
On a sidenote, the market for parts is wider for the LB than the Talaria as it's been around for longer, but it's catching up (we're working on it ourselves).
Last but not least, while the gearbox is almost maintenance free and silent, oil-bathed gearboxes rob a bit of power AND if it breaks, it's harder to service than a broken belt or chain.
That being said, both are very good bikes and you can't go wrong with either of these.
How many km from 100% to 20% you can do with Ultra Bee with a lilttle bit chiller offroad ride?
We can definitely make more or less 50km with a fair amount of elevation. This can greatly vary depending on the average speed though. The fastest the terrain the faster the battery is drained

Thanks mate! I (Quentin) weight 55kg and I'm 1m70, Cyprien (on the Ultra) is way heavier, clocking at 85kg and is about 1m85.
I ride similar terrain to you, What size wheels are you guys running please ?
On this type of terrain we switched to 21/18 and never looked back. Both the Light and Ultra get way more efficient with these as soon as it’s gnarly

Je suis en 21/18 la. Finalement je reste pratiquement tout le temps avec les grosses roue ça gomme bien le terrain et sur le cassant c’est vraiment un plus.
Oui la EXT c’est un super investissement ça fait une vraie différence !

C’est une bonne question, il faudrait que je la pèse. Elle pèse plus lourd qu’une Fox mais par rapport à une DNM ou la FastAce ça change pas grand chose côté poids.
