The up and down swings that one will experience from playing higher limits can be very intense! Thatâs why she is clear about gradually working up to higher limits.

Sometimes the days that the casino gives you freeplay are the worst days to play. And I know some casinos throw people out for winning too much at video poker. I've never figured out how to win like that.

The rules of the game are very important for both video poker and blackjack. In both games the pay tables can make both games good or horrible. A horrible jacks or better video poker game is a 6/5 machine meaning 6 times bet for full house 5 times bet for a flush a good machine is a 9/6 jacks or better. A horrible blackjack game is a 6 to 5 game a good blackjack game is a 3 to 2 game it is all about the pay tables.

Black jack nowadays become much harder for counters with 6 deck 8 deck and sneaky 6:5 instead of 3:2 in one deck as well as continuous shuffling machines. This lady probably win good in 1950s and 1960s, However as Casino become beware of those counting guys, it is really hard to get edge against house. Imagine you count back and forth with +1 + 1 -1 0 -1 +1+1+1 -1-1 0 +1 +1 ... with running of 8 decks of cards , while reciting and applying the base strategy on each hand with several exclusions in decisions when counts goes very high either positive or negative. Loud voices, some one criticizing you hit on soft 17 or 18, some one yelling at you, some drunk guy making crazy noises and multiple eyes up on ceiling watching whether you counting card or not. It is a hell! not a enjoyable place.

The point is how long does it take to win one million? if it is a year, then good. If it take life time, then it is negligible with current salary of such intelligent people to be about 100k a year or so. The lady said over 30 years for a couple people, therefore, it is for fun not for profit. Life time playing this thing? it ruins your life. Best way is to win 20+ million in couple of years and enjoy your life. "Your goal when you in a Casino should not to win" ?? really, why go there then? we pay price to enjoy movie because we like to . You don't need a bigger bankroll to be successful, you just need to play the right games and use the correct strategies. She started off as a quarter player and her success allowed her to make bigger bets later on.

Generally, if you play any casino game lone enough you will lose all of your money because the house has the advantage. However, they don't just play any casino game in any random casino. They specifically seek out games where the benefits from the players club outweigh the casinos' mathematical advantage and that is how they are able to be long-term winners.
