Anthony big fan since your days of playing in the tournaments. We met once in the elevator at the Venetian back when phantom of the opera was in town. Been a member of LVA for many years now and always good when I head to the office as your secertary has been there for many years and always been nice.
Steve watched many of your videos and read your American Casino guide for quite a few years. Because all of your advice and Anthony's advice, I am more of "advantage player" now. Just wanted to thank both of you for all of your good advice.
Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video. I follow the advice given in the video. I haven't paid for a room in Las Vegas in many years. I also haven't paid for a hotel meal in all those years either. My ultimate gambling goal is to basically break even for the trip and to take advantage of the free room and food offers. I usually end up as either a small winner, or as a small loser and I have an awful lot of fun! Anybody can do the same thing, but you just need to learn how to do it. The problem is that most people don't want to take the time and effort to learn it because they think that gambling is all luck. There are strategies to lower the casino edge in some casino games and the effort should be made to learn them.
Advice is still good even after five years. Thank you.
Great video. Thanks for the advice. I will be going to vegas in a couple of weeks and will apply the tips. I will also try to stop by the store.
Cool channel and vids.. Cant wait for more!! Greetings from the Vegas Strip
Really enjoyed this interview. Very insightful into the inner workings of Las Vegas.
AWESOME VIDEO A LOT OF GREAT INFORMATION........THANK YOU
This guy knows alot
That's right. I've noticed for a while how crazy cheap strip hotels are during the two weeks just before Xmas. My friend and I stayed at treasure island last December and got a good deal.
I've run into the same issue with resort fees at hotels near Disney in Orlando. The hotels are often in a low price war to get you in, but nail you with that fine-print resort fee. Unlike Nevada, Florida is also extremely bad with their toll roads.
Really good information
I would probably spend a lot more money if it weren't for the resort fees. That crap really ticks me off.
I just wish they were more upfront about the resort fees and the like. If the room is $50 a night plus $25 and fees why can't they just advertise it as $75 and then offer a cost breakdown after? It comes across like the hotel is being really slimy and dishonest when they say its this price and then when you get your card oh plus these fees.
It was explained that the resort fees are charges that the Hotel does not share with the travel agent, so Expedia or whoever is never going to show the price with the fees added. If you go directly to the hotel website you will see exactly what the cost is.
This guy is a wealth of information, great video!
Very good.
Just turned 18 and started making money at indian casinos near me but have to wait 3 years to play in vegas grrrr
gtreat interview i have subscibed ti Anthonys newsletter for years would highly recommand
i got a room at treasure island for three nights and am only paying 60 dollars no resort fee and no parking fee and no taxes at all they have the best comps on the slots
Daniel Leavitt How are you getting it for 60?
15:24 looks like the guy is head bobbing into the store.
I'll stop into the shop when i'm in town.....from Galway
Living in Texas I love Las Vegas only a two hour flight away so much better than the casinos in Oklahoma
start your vegas vacation on the day after a convention or a long weekend.
I buy both las vegas advisor and american casino guide. Is there any other coupon book like these two?
Not that I know of.
I need some advice on the best way to get to Summerlin from The LV Strip. I want to go to the new Las Vegas Ballpark to see an Aviators Game. Don't say bus, because that takes an hour. Any other ideas?
UberPool ride?
@@TheJackpotGents Ok thanks
Resort fees and parking fees are awesome for the people who don’t need to pay
Paid parking is great. Less cars around
Seems to be problem with the sound quality half way through and especially near the end. A lot of static.
There was some static on Anthony's microphone from the 22-minute point onwards. We apologize for that problem, but we had to use that part as we were not aware of the issue until several weeks later when we went to edit the video. We just now went into the video description and added some language to make people aware of the problem.
Bobkon
Best way to get comps is play blackjack, be friendly with the dealers and pit bosses than ask for a comp.
22:00 that was brutal
What is "a player's card"?
Hotels are ripping off visitors with the "resort fee" they add-on to you room fee...watch out...gouging your room price doing that ! Ask is they add a "resort fee" and boycott any place doing that.
There is almost no place in Vegas that doesn't charge a resort fee, so good luck with that boycott.
Can't wat to watch your next video. If your ever in the Vegas area, we would love for you to be a guest on our show. Check out our show
Rooms in LV hotels are NOT a good value when you consider the amount of money spent and lost in the casinos.
Resort + parking fees = FUCK THIS, I'M NOT COMING BACK TO VEGAS AGAIN ANYTIME SOON !
You know your a hustler when they don't allow you to play a the tables
I don't understand when he says that he isn't welcome at table games? Because he does well at them, the casinos kick him out? I don't get it.
+Thiefy Anthony is a known card counter and he is not welcome to play blackjack.
Oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up for me! Love the channel!
19:00 mark I like that he recommends avoiding speedy situations, but recommending blindly betting on your favorite team? Bad advice.
the advice in the video is correct, do the math, bet $10 blindly on your favorite team with a 5% house edge is a 50 cent negative expected value, or bet 50 cents 1000 times with a 5% edge on a slot machine is a $25 negative expected value
Brisdad53 it is blindly betting if you're completely ignoring the price
Decades ago I was practicing Black Jack card counting to clean up all the money in Vegas.
BUT, half way thru the deck I started dreaming about naked women every time.
So, if it wasn't for naked women, I would be a multimillionaire now.
somethings wrong with your mic
look not a bad video and appreciate the help on everything you mentioned, but to interview someone who is a well known player and not ask about what to play or how it makes your video a piece of shit, i can get this info from a travel agent..Waste of time if you are expecting the 10 good tips he mentioned at the beginning
Great Guest and great interview ACG. The information is still current.
