Parts are cheap for the L322, you just have to search! Never buy from a main dealer! You will have a £250 mark up on most parts! The L322 is a car you can work on yourself! No need for garage fees! 🙂
Thanks for the video, really enjoy these updates as a fellow L322 owner
these video are gold
I just can’t believe that a Range Rover can do 130k! Astonished!
😆
It'll do 130k but you'll have spent about that much in money to get it there😂
I don't think there are any thefts of these vehicles. I think the owners are just firing them and claiming on the insurance after shelling out for months on end.
please keep updating the channel on the L322
reliable and range rover in same sentence lol dream on m8
😁
Wow where did you get that work done so cheap? Some people have spent over 7k just on turbos. Lovely to see you in my home county of Yorkshire
Keeping it 10 years , your definelty mad
Or a CZcamsr 😂
Would a single service of prevented the failure, was it a lack of maintenance to begin with, or is it an inherent design fault
Jesus what road are you driving down the ride looks shocking
This is definitely due to the wheel height sensor. I managed to get a new fitted and the bumpiness went away. It is a shame that a sensor can cause the car to be undriveable, there is nothing at all unusual about the road, just a standard country lane.
£700 scrap value
I know someone with a spare gearbox who has offered to see if they can replace it. I will have to wait till after Xmas so we shall see then if this is set for the scrapyard in the new year. Thanks.
Good luck to you buddy. But clearly you need a spare car.
So people are stealing land rovers in London so people in the sticks can get cheaper parts. Refurbished parts. 😂
Good work. Keep it up buddy.
How much is a new engine and a new gearbox?
The engine has just been rebuilt so it should be just swapping the gearbox. Iwill let you know costs when the car is returned
I work in a European specialty garage and Land Rovers and Jaguars have made me a lot of money. These things always need work. You fix one thing something else will break before it even leaves the shop from the first repair. I wouldn't buy one of these. Lease a new one or dont drive one at all.
Absolutely right they are the very definition of high maintenance
Youve spent so much money you may as well get thr gearbox replaced
I fear you are absolutely right, this is going to cost another £4000. I thought with this being the 8 speed ZHP gearbox I was safe, as that is fitted to most modern cars, even today. I suspect it is the disassembly of the engine and not torquing bolts back to specification that has caused this. I hope I am wrong, hopefully we find out in the next 2 weeks once they have the car on the lift. It took over 30 minutes to get the car off the trailer/transporter as the gearbox was siezed, no doubt about that. I don't think there is anything left to break so fingers crossed I get to travel a few hundred miles at least in the new year
You Must Be MAD
what a complete waste of money
