Don Bluth has a lot to say about these two in his new memoir - when they were doing 'All Dogs' together Bluth talks about how Dom stopped Burt from using a goofy cartoon voice - Burt said he liked his cartoon voice, and Dom told him "Your mother's cottage-cheese ass! I'm Dom, you're Burt, don't make me look bad!"
This man was born to make people laugh. OMG what a gift.
Dom was the best. So adorable, funny, and talented.
Such an underrated comedy. Every scene with Deluise had me in stitches.

Isn't it. I love that scene where he's helping Burt jump to his death from the second or third floor onto a grassy slope, Burt changes his mind screaming, "It's not high enough !" Then somehow they swap positions and Dom goes over the edge. You hear a thump then Dom's voice saying, " You're right ! It's not high enough" Bloody hilarious !
Excellent sketch - Dom DeLuise reminds me a bit of the late great Zero Mostel.

Everything Dom says in this is hilarious!! He truly was a comic genius.As i watch this, i noticed how much his sons facial mannerisms remind me of Dom...especially David.Dom was a wonderful actor and comedian.He was a special man who brought so much joy in many lives including mine.

This is so damn funny! And I'm Polish! They could never make this movie today, with all its ethnic humor. (Same with Blazing Saddles.) Stupid tight-ass times we live in today.
We could learn from the likes of EVERYBODY on that set of blazing saddles, breaking that racial tension the way they did to be able to laugh at that movie whether you’re white or black, incredible men for sure, we’ll never have anyone like them that can break that kinda racial tension we have nowadays. There’s no reasons to remake those movies. They already been made. Plus people today are too dumb to realize the meanings of those movies.
Actually, they couldn't make Blazing Saddles today, is because it would rightfully call out the people that whine about stuff being "woke" as the morons of today.

A superb actor/comedian. The first movie I ever saw him in was Fail Safe. A small part and the only serious part he ever performed that I'm aware of. He is missed.

Gawd this is so good - I know every word by heart. Great movie. Dom is at his best, such a funny soul. Burt always had great comedic timing. These two were some of the best comedy matchups ever.

As much of a comic genius as he was, he was a pretty talented dramatic actor as well.

Reminds me of a shirt I saw the other day - in the style of the logo of the Aussie band ACDC, it had printed "ADHD", and under that was written (in the same style as the album cover)... I saw this in the theater when it came out and couldn't stop laughing. A friend said if the scene had gone on a minute longer he'd have to go to ICU.
Could you add the part where Reynolds does to pee and Dom is tlaking outside the door. That is the continuation of this scene and also hysterically funny.

I was nearly choking with laughter on this scene. We can all relate to supplicating the Lord when we're in deep water and then rationalizing to take it back after we are out of trouble.
